This nose! Blackcurrant for days. Slight savoury tang, smoke, and mild floral backbone of violet. Palate is a contrast to the incredible nose, bringing a much more complex experience. Aged blackberry and blackcurrant, dry cranberry, gentle spice, pepper, cedar and light smoke. A touch of Peruvian dark chocolate. A perfect partner to lamb. Excellent body, length and acidity. Ticks all my boxes.
