Beautiful med ruby colour. Love the nose. Med+ intensity, red cherry, red plum, hibiscus, raspberry, very pure and well preserve fruit. Nose was med. + intensity. Noted of cherry, raspberry, hint of vanilla. Med. - tannins, med. to med. + acidity, light bodied, very dry, med. + finish. Palate similar to the nose. Very good quality, drink now with potential to age. Awesome value if you like a pinot noir without breaking the bank.

Appearance: Light ruby. Nose: Medium plus aroma intensity. Typical varietal notes of strawberry, cherry, underbrush, dried leaves, mushroom, clove, cola, caramel, beef broth and umami. Palate: Dry. I drank a German Spatburgunder. This is the second time. The first Spatburgunder I drank was too sweet for my taste, but this one is similar to Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France. Except for a little acidity in comparison, it had a fruity aroma of plum, raspberry, cherry, etc., and a floral aroma of lycoris, etc. It also had a hint of sweetness. It had a slight sweetness and a beautiful pale ruby color.

Dezent dunkle klassische spätburgunder rubinrote Farbe In der Nase vorrangig Holz Am Gaumen rote Johannisbeere, Sauerkirschen dezente Vanille mit feinen Tannine. Im Abgang zeigt der Wein eine dezent Steigerung gegenüber dem 2020. Die Säure ist straff eingebunden. Insgesamt alles geschmeidig gut eingebunden und sehr schön.

Sehr schönes GG vom Höllenberg! Im Glas dunkles Rubinrot. In der Nase Früchte wie Kirschen, Himbeere und Erdbeere, aber auch Melone und Banane (sic!). Am Gaumen wieder Kirsche Himbeere, Cassis, auch Eiche, Nelke und Schiefer. Ebenso Rauch und Zigarrenschachtel. Der Abgang ist lang und intensiv mit salzigen und rotfruchtigen Noten. Sehr fein, durchaus komplex und elegant ist der Rheingau-Spätburgunder!

VDP Großes Gewächs. Löß-Lehm, violetter Phyllitschiefer. In der Nase Sauerkirsche, Cassis, etwas Nelke. Am Gaumen tief, versammelt. Sehr schöner Spätburgunder.

Fresh acidity showing great structure and backbone for aging. Good use of new oak, biting slate minerality. Cracked black pepper, marzipan, smoked earthy peat finish

#10189. Three vintages of wine from the oldest Pinot Noir vineyard in the world (used since 13th century). Probably the weakest wine of the evening, but the competition was fierce. And it’s still really good red indeed! Nice fruit and present acidity, integrated tannins. Pleasant age. Well structured but missing more depth. Cherry, blackberry, floral notes, nice oak.

Rubinrote Symphonie. Яркий аромат специй. Простоватый вкус красных ягод. На удивление оказалось пустоватым и ничем особо не запомнилось. Понравилось меньше, чем Erste Lage с того же самого виноградника

Tasting next to 2019 from Kesseler this shows a whiff of something different, perhaps it's just the spice or toast from the oak regime. Still, black-fruited, ripe, and full on the nose, a full mid-palate and integrated if not a bit firmer tannins than the Kesseler. **++

Переборщили с диоксидом серы, нос полностью диоксид, вкус немного получше, в общем не понял!!!! Может испортилось, но пино нуаром даже не пахнет!
