華やかな香りと辛口の味わい、酸味が楽しいワインでした グレケットという品種のブドウで作られたイタリア・ウンブリア州の白ワイン。パイナップル のような甘い香りがありながら、ちょっときついくらいの辛口の味わいでした。

サンジョヴェーゼ 65% / メルロー 20% / サグランティーノ 15%。すみれの香りがグラスに広がる。その後黒インキみたいなニュアンス。さらにはシラーを思わせるようなスパイシーさも感じたりしてなかなか複雑。面白いワインだと思う。

Non conosco molto il Montefalco ma mi è parso un vino davvero buono dal prezzo non esagerato

This is an intriguing sangiovese blend. The addition of sagrantino gives length and structure without overpowering the sangiovese. I prefer this to most Super Tuscans. An extra year laid down makes a big difference for this wine, buy one to drink and one to cellar.

Almost the perfect Pizza wine, with the ‘happy-feeling’ nose, and its rather thin - yet not sour body. Nothing freaking amazing about it - but with a Pizza...this is what I want!

Lovely Italian with plenty of finesse especially for the reasonable price point. Nice fruit, cherries, on the nose with a bit of roses from the sangiovese. Palette has depth with nice acid and tannins, definitely age worthy still for a 2012. Bit of tobacco and light cooking spices.

I paid 23$ for this which I think was an excellent value. Nose of dark cherry, tobacco and hints of herbs and oak. It is medium bodied with good intensity. On the palate the sweet cherry flavor combines with baking spices and some meaty, beef flavors. Tannins are grippy but not overpowering. Plenty of fresh acidity and a decent finish...90 points

Awesome dramatic nose of cherries and berries. Taste is more medium bodied with a bit of spice at finish.

Had this with beef tartare, veal and guinea fowl. A decent fit for all. All in all, a very good wine!

Veey bold, complex wine. Nose of oak, lots of legs. 15° alcohol really hits well. Nice length. Sangiovese blend but very in balance.

Medium robijnrood, mooi fruitige stijl ( kers framboos braambes en pruim). Tabak; balsamico, chocolade leer en koffie. Goede zuurgraad, nog aanwezige tannines en med+ alcohol. Afdronk vrij lang

Decantar por 40 minutos antes de servir. Aromas de frutas escuras de bosque, chocolate e tabaco. Corpo médio pra menos, boa acidez e taninos elegantes. Harmonizado perfeitamente com massa fresca ao ragu preparado com carne moída, tomates, berinjelas, pimentões e azeitonas.

Aromas de chocolate, tabaco e frutas vermelhas, taninos muito macios e aveludados, acidez média e médio corpo. Excelente vinho.

色は濃い紫です。エッジは薄い紫です。香りはプラムブラックベリーカシスの香り。味わいはタンニンもしっかり厚みのある酸味もあるワインです。

Our wedding day wine 🥰🇮🇹 fantastic accompaniment to a risotto, home made pasta with pork cheek and stuff Umbrian rabbit. Medium bodied, fruity with notes of strawberry and red fruits.

Full bodied wine. Red fruit; tobacco cherry and oak. You need to let it breathe for a while or allow it age a little longer. Tannins and acidity on the higher side. Pair it well with foods that will enhance the flavor.

Droge, stevige, gemiddeld granaatrode blend van merlot en sangiovese en sagrantino uit Montefalco, Umbrië. In dr neus en mond gemiddeld+ intense aroma’s en smaken van rode kers, framboos, braam, rozijn, zwarte bes, vanille, ceder, toast, tabak, chocolade, aardse, leer, drop, peper, rook. Gemiddeld zuur, alcohol, body, tannine en afdronk. Goede wijn, op dronk.

The Mura Saracene adds Sagrantino to the Sangiovese and Merlot and with 12 months of barrel aging puts it to good use. Earthy and vegetative nose with black currant, red currant, red bell pepper and black pepper followed by a more sophisticated palate with very dry tannins, beautiful acidity, black cherry, licorice and decent finish.

Strong and fruity with a firm tannic grip. Great with hearty tuscan food. Nose is peppery/spicy and has smoked meat and blackberries. Medium body in the taste but with dry tannins. Love this type of 'rough' wine with pasta amatriciana...

Interesting blend. 60% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, 20% Sagrantino. Dark ruby color. Earthy nose. Ripe cherry, tea and tobacco flavors. Acidic and very tannic. This will age nicely for 5 or more years. And my bottle was signed by Sara Goretti!!

February 2024 at the Italian America's tour in Miami. Getting my drink on. As is true with all wine shows. This will come fast and furious so hold on to your hats! Some special horse blanket on the nose with dark fruits. Some residual sweetness on the palate with more black fruits, tannins and high acid. This is interesting line medium minus complexity.
