Tua Rita Per Sempre Syrah 2019 On the nose, vanilla, milk chocolate, coconut, some bubble candy, mocha and almonds. Almost dessert like. The palate is very rich, luscious and opulent with notes of dark chocolate and milk chocolate, black fruits, vanilla, full bodied, rich mouthfeel and velvety thick texture which coats the tongue, coconut, bubble candy, mocha. Almost like a dessert. 96/100 Splendid.

Great wine. At the nose there are strong notes of red rose and madera. Chocolate muffin notes are beautifully blended with eucalyptus. The taste has strong notes of chocolate, tobacco Latakia and drunken cherries. Fantastic wine.

Per Sempre is one of Tua Rita’s limited edition wines born from Virgil’s love of Syrah. Cellar located in the commune of Suvereto, Val di Cornia, Tuscany. Vibrant rubi. Fresh and fragrant nose, revealing berries, cocoa, citrus, cedar and a dash of spice. Pure, bright character, ripe, silky tannins and vivacious acidity. Delicious flavours of juicy red and black fruits, licorice, lavender and cassis with supporting notes of black pepper and smoke. Still young, it will age majestically.

Wow—what an incredible wine! It has the class of a great Syrah, the structure of a great Bordeaux, and the depth and complexity of a magnificent Burgundy. Wonderful aromas of black pepper, black currant, and black cherries. Plus, a body that's truly impressive. The overall picture: one of the best wines in the world.

Deep dark ruby, medium++ bodied, dry with beautiful polished tannins and well-balanced acidity. Nose leads with plum black cherry oak violet, notes of black fruit tobacco chocolate cedar cherry dried herbs, nice length to the pallet with pepper and minerals. Great complexity, multilayered, intigrated, this wine has my DNA all over it! I can only assume time will just make this awesome. Definitely will buy and store some, maybe 2016 and 2018s! Extremely recommended 👌

Fantastic earthy Syrah, has a streak of light menthol. Lovely light viscosity, lighter than most Syrah. Spiced with beautifully rich fruit. Undeniably Tuscan, undeniably great. Long, balanced, big intensity and complexity. Great producer.

Tua Rita is a producer that I like a lot! Thought it was time tonight to open this magnificent 10-year Syrah from them! 🤤 Long maceration; aged ~18 months in new oak. Deep nose of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, violet, black pepper, and smoked herbs. Full-bodied and opulent, with dark berries, plum, cocoa, licorice, and savory spice, silky tannins, and balanced acidity. Very long and layered finish. Very unique Syrah (100%) from Toscano. My third tasting from Tua Rita and enjoyed a lot. 15-17 months in French oak barriques. Intense ruby red with purple hues. Red fruits on the nose, some cinnamon and tobacco. Full body, powerful, blackberry, cherry and raspberry, ripe plums. Silky, nice acidity and lovely tannins. 14.5% ABV

On the nose, clean, med + intensity, leather, black plum, black pepper, violet, black cherry, white pepper, wet stones, prune, vanilla, coffee, cloves, nutmeg, charred wood, leather, dried blackberry, earth, developing. Awesome. Great structure, mouth feel, complexity and length. Slightly restrained nose but wonderful palate that makes you want to come back to it as soon as you've put the glass down. Just ripe black fruit, spice, olive and a touch of mocha that lasts forever. Yum!

4.6 100% Syrah and one of my favorite wines from Tua Rita. An elegant wine that exudes fresh red fruit, flowers, olive tapenade and some licorice. Intense, long and juicy. This is built for the long run, but you can taste and glimpse the future. Hope to find another bottle, this will only get better and better.

Tua Rita Per Sempre Toscana IGT 2020 (20250331) 100% Syrah Deep ruby, pronounced intensity, black plum, prune, liquorice, olives, toasted vanilla, chocolate, leather, smoky, toffee, dry, medium+ acidity, high and fleshy tannins, high alcohol, full body, medium+ finish, very good, weighty and the fruit nature is approaching the very ripe end of the spectrum merging well with the new oak flavours creating a luxurious style and it has enough concentration supporting further ageing.

A wonderful Syrah from Tuscany. It has notes of ripe fruits like cherries, black berries, tobacco, cedar, and chocolate. Complex and very balanced. Full-bodied and with silky tannins. It has a pleasant finish.

Tuscany night #8 of 12. Amazing Syrah , proving again the grape shines in Super Tuscan wines. Powerful fruit without being heavy , a great combination. Delicious wine , ready to drink now although it shall mature well for many more years. Deep and friendly , it provides the best match for a fillet steak.

I love the black berry, plum, and hints of herbs that layered. You can taste the quality of its fruit and balance structure & body body. It's just my kind of wines. Tua Rita Per Sempre 2016 Opened 3/4 hours before sipping it. No need to decant it since it is a 2016 pretty young. Nose: deep black pepper, sweet pepper, spicy and ripped red fruits bouquet. In the mouth is silky, bold with delicate but strong tannins, black currant, cinnamon and ripe red fruit. Also notes of wild vanilla and toasted nuts. Long and powerful but pleasant finish. Also earthy notes in the mouth, fresh mint too. Beautiful, beautiful Syrah.

Bucket list wine checked! And I was not disappointed. Fantastic Syrah. Powerful but balanced and structured. Medium + intense dark ruby. Not very complex but quite intense aromas of blackberry, black pepper, vanilla. The taste is dry with the taste of sweet spices. Full body with velvety tannins and medium high pronounced acidity. Persistent and long, it deserves some years of bottle ageing.

I had the 2013 in a master class so was excited to try this again. It didn’t disappoint, it had a long lingering finish with smooth tannins and subtle fruit aromas but nice fruit in palette. Torbreck run rig 2001 tried afterwards and Tua Rita win the night

On the nose ripe dark berries, plum and soft smoky notes. On the palate ripe dark cherries, blackberries, soft oaky and earthy notes. Medium plus bodied with a soft but elegant acidity. Tannins are integrated beautifully and leave a great velvety feeling in your mouth. Nice complex fruit structure with a warm mouth feeling. Great overall complexity and a very good balance. Long and savory finish.

I can only imagine how this would be even with time and some air ...

A very well made wine. Super bold and juicy, but with enough acid to make it fresh and enough tannins to keep the structure, I think this could keep for many more years. Savoury and smoky with a touch of tobacco and blackberry .

Surprisingly ethereal, on the initial nose it has this bretty barnyard nose, as well as earthy soil and game notes, only after waiting in the glass for an hour it started to show red berries. I’m not a big fan of Italian Syrah, but Tua Rita knows how to make them. Dry, high in tannins and a bit grippy, but not grumpy. Dense texture. Amazing structure. Rich bold black fruit. Chocolate. Satisfying. 14.5% abv. Drink now, but also cellaring potential here.

This 2018 vintage is rated 98 by RP which I find rather generous. It has too strong a body for my taste without a precise and satisfying finish. Tannins are smoothly integrated and it has notes of smoke but it’s a heavy wine for me to enjoy glass after glass. The price is high but not as shown on Vivino. It’s around €200.

23/6/10. Vintage 2004. 开瓶酒精气略重，酸度高。瓶醒3小时，非常优雅的西拉，单宁细腻，酸度漂亮，有黑色水果和甘草的味道，还有一些老cheese的味道，即使过了20年，果味还是很不错的，有不少三类香气和味道。
