Exceptional at this price. Beautiful aromas of game, licorice, mint, spices, strawberries and violet. Has a subtle, slightly funky edge, enough to make interesting without dominating the wine. High altitude vineyards keep the wine fresh and light, especially for a Rousillon. Has med+ acidity, barely med body and silky tannins. Ticks all the right boxes: it’s subtle, delicate, complex, balanced and precise. Thoroughly enjoyed every sip of it. Bought at the winery

A blend of 2013, 2014 and 2015. Too cheap for what it is. A classic biodynamic taste - you can almost taste the fermentation with natural yeast. Chewy wine

Un top du Roussillon, la valeure sûre du coin. Millesime apres millesime la fraicheur sur ces terroirs est un fait! Du oûr glouglou!!!

De wijnmaker heeft voor deze wijn het oogstjaar 2013, 2012, 2011 en 2009 gebruikt. Deze jaren werden gevinificeerd op beton, hout of staal. Lage opbrengst van ca 20 hl/ha. Verder een willekeur aan druiven van Macabeo tot Marsanne, Grenache en nog wat meer. Resultaat? Een verbluffend mooie wijn met geuren als gele appel, bloemen, abrikoos en kruidigheid. Lastig exact te definiëren. Dit is er echt eentje die ik op een luie avond eens rustig moet herproeven... 13% Cwines

Loin du cliché des vins trop riches et surpuissants du Roussillon, les vignes du Soula situées à plus de 600m permette au Trigone rouge une superbe fraîcheur et buvabilité. Une bombe de fruits rouges bien murs (le côté solaire de la région reste bien présent) mais sans lourdeur et des tanins discrets. Crée par Gérard Gauby dans les années 2000, le Soula produit des vins avec beaucoup de maitrise.

Un nez, une bouche, un corps, de la jambe... Mais ce vin est bien un être vivant !!! Génial !

One of my favourite wines for a while. Multi-vintage blend from the Roussillon. Developed and meaty.

Du très bon bio, un nez au terroir marqué mais pas désagréable. Belle rondeur en bouche. Une finale très raisin sur fromage. Superbe. Rapport prix plaisir imbattable.

Arômes assez intense d’olive, de girofle, de prunes, de cassis, qui marient très bien l’alumi de la sauce soja du plat La bouche se rafraîchis sur des notes de lavande et de savon ( certainement apportées par le carignan ) Et une finale qui S’allonge que moyennement, mais très belle cuvée pour accompagner un pad thaï épicé, même si j’aurais préféré un bon rosé de saignée! Cwines tasting #7. Deze Trigone uit de Roussillon is een blend van de jaren 2009, 2011 en 2013. Volop tropische fruit en de smaak van snoep. In het bijzonder de smaak van Engelse drop. Die met de gekleurde laagjes. Van de proeverij heeft deze eerlijk gezegd de minste indruk gemaakt. Dat ligt niet aan deze wijn, maar meer aan het bijzondere karakter van de rest van de line-up

Relativt lett vin, fungerte godt til en lett andebassert hovedrett. Små hint av lakris i avslutningen.

De nummer 19, niet van de proeverij maar het getal zit in de naam van deze wijn. 19 is wel een prima klassering, onderaan het rechterrijtje. Niet mijn ding. Proeverij natuurwijn bij Arentz, Nijmegen.

very good wine. Multi vintage, which makes it interesting. Leaner than Gaubys basic wine, but its still has a modern creamy texture to compliment the stone fruit and minerals.

Very reductive nose at this stage, this is a typical Roussillon red blend, made in a natural way, multi vintage and "de soif", nicely perfumed, red berries and garrigue, schisty. The palate is brisk, wiry acidity and ruddy. Simple but addictive

Yet another disappointment from Noble Rot and perhaps the priciest so far. Sharp at the end with a cheap roughness. Got better with blue cheese, but only enough to be drinkable and nowhere near interesting

Pronounced but obviously unripe aroma with herbaceous and phenolic notes. Veggie. Some animalic. Red berries on deep bottom. Harsh tannin. It’s pretty unripe.

From Roussillon. Blend of Syrah, Carignan, Grenache. Started beautifully, and then hit the back of my throat and felt awful.. Sorry, no dice.. Maybe lots more cellar time or air, but didn't work for me
