Today in Pienza we paired this wonderful BdM with a grand selection of Pecorino cheeses. The color was garnet and the 2010 looked perfectly aged. Sun dried tomatoes on the nose with ripe cherries on the palate. A leathery mouthfeel and red licorice notes made for a perfect finish.

It needs some aeration before drinking. At least 1 to 2 hours. It starts off with strong tannins and notes of oak flavour. Afterwards it smoothens out with notes of berries and earth. Warm finish.

Beautiful wine, near perfectly structured, very complex. This wine is a great representation of the style. Decant and let sit for at least 2 hours before enjoying. Structure: Dry, Medium+ body, Medium+ acidity, Medium+ tannins, Medium+ alcohol, Long finish Characteristics: Cherry, sour raspberry, blackberry, plum, figs, earth, leather, mushroom, forest floor, tobacco, smoke, vanilla, white pepper.

Trenger litt lufting, men kommer seg veldig etter hvert. Vanilje og eik på nesen. Fyldig og med tydelige tanniner i munnen. Perfekt til kjøtt.

Garnet color. Translucent. Well structed, well balanced. Pleasant acidity. Noble. Lingering aftertaste.

Great complex wine with full palette of expected tastes- ripe plum, leather, vanilla and a bit earthy notes.

2007 год в 2024 году. Абсолютно хорошо сохранившийся Брунелло с ярко кирпичным цветом, очень спокойным но сложным ароматом, прекрасным балансом. Породисто, интеллигентно, аристократично. Выпив, оно как бы остаётся в тебе на всю неделю. Декантер минимум 3 часа.

How do you celebrate the last night in Tuscany after a two month stay? How about with this 2018 Brunello? Great wine, balanced with mid palate notes of red fruit and pleasant tannins. Love these Brunellos.

The bottle we lugged back from Italian duty free 3 years back. Iron-y but also brothy, smells like a deli, some anise and also fresh flowers. Light bodied with plenty of tannins still, feels like this could go a while. Tastes like blackberry seeds and crème de mur, cocoa, salty rocks and herbs while also being light acidic and nicely balanced. Tannins keep it hanging, I certainly am enjoying it

Produttore già sperimentato in passato e di cui avevo un buon ricordo. Annata 2019 equilibrata, maturazione lenta e uniforme che ha favorito un Sangiovese elegante. Ilvino al naso mostra subito una nota legnosa un po’ marcata, che copre inizialmente il frutto, poi emergono ciliegia, fragolina ed erbe fini. In bocca è fresco, teso, con tannino giovane ma ben definito. Il sorso resta pulito, energico, ancora in assestamento. Finale sapido, con buon potenziale evolutivo.

ファットリア・ディ・バルビ『ブルネッロ・ディ・モンタルチーノ』 一言で：確かに美味いが、値段を考えれば驚きはない。が美味い(もっと寝かせて良さそう) 色： 若めヴィンテージ(6年モノ)にしては珍しく、ちょっと褪せたルビーレッド。熟成しきっている訳ではないが、フチはオレンジがかった淡い色合い。 ここでハードルが上がるのはある。 香： ラズベリーやクランベリーのような赤系果実。さらに赤いプラムの香り。色合いに反して結構フレッシュな果実感。一方の樽っぽさもまずまず。 スパイスのニュアンスもあるが、断定するほどではない。強いて言えば、薄くクローヴ。 味： サンジョヴェーゼにしては、酸味が嫌ではなく、このあたりはお上品さに繋がっている。 が、取り立ててエレガントというわけではなく、かといって雑すぎるわけではない(ちょっと粗いけど)。 良く言えば飲みやすいが、悪く言えば没個性。 タンニンは弱め。酸は丸め。バランスは取れている。難しいことを考えず、ゴクっと飲んでみたら、果実味豊かで美味しかった。笑 ワインサーチャー順位：3桁。え、そんなに有名なの？笑 備考： イタリア出張で、現地のイタリ

当生産者の入門編&定番ブルネッロ。 煉瓦味を帯びた澄んだガーネット。 レッドチェリー,リンゴ飴,アプリコット,若いアジアンプラム,セージ,ラヴェンダー,皮。 ブルネッロの美学そのままに。鍾乳洞のような1本。

4.2 歴史あるBarbi、ミディアムガーネット。酒石酸有り。 凝縮感や酸味の角は無く、茸・土系のEarthyな香りだが、ふくよかなベリーの甘い果実感もあり奥行き有り。タンニンは優しく口当たりは柔らか、女性的でエレガントなブルネロ。

クリアーなガーネット色の液体。赤い花畑の香り。抜栓したては硬い。赤いベリー系の味わい。抜栓して1日置いたらとてもまろやかな味わいに変化したがとても辛口。

There is plenty of concentration of fruit. I uncorked the bottle 5 hours before drinking, but it still didn't open up very well. It became delicious during the drinking process. It is not so elegant type, but I think the cost performance is not bad. 果実味の凝縮感は十分にある。飲む5時間前に抜栓したが、それでもなかなか開いてこなかった。飲んでいる途中で美味しくなった。エレガントではないが、コストパフォーマンスは悪くないと思う。

€29@Fattoria dei barbi San poloの隣だし、似た味を期待したけどこの値段だすならRoggioかな。

2014 3.4 赤い系、タンニンもまだ強い うーん、美味しいけど、ニコレッロ のコスパには勝てないなあ

I really enjoyed this Brunello though If tasted blind I would have guessed burgundy (!) due to the sent of stable. Still a mystery to me which vintage I tasted absolutely no indication on the bottle !
