イタリア　ピエモンテ州のバローロ。 24年前に作られた飲み物が、こんなフレッシュネスを感じながら 飲めるって、よくよく考えると不思議すぎる。 まだまだ元気な溌剌さと、エレガンスが同居している。 楽しくなれる１杯でした。

イタリア産　ネッビオーロ　2015 すみれ、ラズベリー、ナツメグ 辛口の赤ワイン。 甘さをほとんど感じない。 とても私好みなので☆5。

Pronounced nose. Red fruit, cherry. Anise, dried herbs, green cardamom. Cedar, tobacco, earthy, smoke. Full-bodied, highly intense, complex with a long finish. Outstanding. Very much to my taste.

Awesome - 2003 consumed in 2022. There is nothing like old Barolo. Semi translucent brick red in the glass - almost brown at the edges. On the nose old dried fruits and leather and cigar box with a hint of mushroom in there. To taste an explosion - still tannic and acidic but with that strong dried leathery flavor - still delicate but powerful. I’ve got one 2003 left and I’m going to hold it till it’s 30 then try it!

A: Pale garnet N: pronounced red berry, rose petal and raspberry with earthy, dried herbs spice and cigar box. Some dried fruit and leather carries through P: high tannin and acidity, with medium(+) body and alcohol all sit in great balance. 秋の味覚にはバローロ！というわけで、数ヶ月ぶりのピオ・チェーザレ PIO CESARE。 大好きなバローロですが、ピオ・チェーザレは特に好き。1881年創業、アルバで最も歴史の古い造り手のバローロの老舗。 バローロ BAROLOの2015年ヴィンテージ。 力強くも柔らかく、親しみやすく伸びやかなタンニン、豊かで凝縮されたベリー感のある果実味のバランスが素晴らしい一本。何度飲んでも美味しいバローロです。

This was so delicious! Shiitake, cherries, savouriness, vanilla, earth, butter. Some cinnamon and dried fig. High alcohol; firm, grippy tannins and lots of them.

Excelente! Vinho potente, frutas vermelhas, carvalho, tabaco... Caramelo... Profundo! Persistente, taninos redondos... Mas precisa de decanter.

4.3 By the glass at Di Stasio Citta. Bruised cherries. Wood and spice. Dark chocolate. And that’s just the nose. Plush, refined mouthfeel. Powerful acid and tannin in parallel action here. The effect is a somewhat spiky finish and you’d expect it to settle down with cellar time.

Last bottle of this excellent wine. It will not get any better, probably at its top, so I would advise to drink now. Very much a classic barolo. Had trouble with cork and decanted for two hours. Pale garnet color. Cherries, roses, wood and earth in the nose. Medium dry. Light acidity. 92 points

A potent Barolo with grippy tannins and lots of mushroom flavours (a mix of chanterelle, porcini and shiitake). The tertiary palette also includes some very distinguishable leather and tobacco notes. The primary is certainly focused on red fruit (strawberry, raspberry), on the riper end. I can also feel some buttery notes which suggest that the malolactic flavours - which usually don’t really come to the surface in powerful red like this one - have been amplified by the bottle ageing.

Absolutely loved it! So delicate yet complex and smooth. Slightly Earthy with tobacco and mushrooms. Medium acid with medium tannins.

Very young but juicy powerful and promising

【1967バローロ／ピオ・チェーザレ】 50年以上が経過したオールドヴィンテージなのに、まだまだ生き生きとしている、バローロの真髄を感じることができるワインでした。薔薇の花やしっとりとした湿地に咲く野いちごのようなアロマ。タンニンは滑らかに溶け混んでいるが、その溌剌としていた若かりし頃の姿がすぐに連想できる。余韻も心地よくウットリできたワインでした。

Barolo is one of Italies greatest wine appellations, if not the best. Their ultimate expression of good wines come from the Nebiolo grapes. The wines here have more elegance due to high magnesium in the soils. Garbet colour. Nose for black currant and pepper. High alcohol sensations on the palate with bell pepper and leather. Vintage 2015 Consumed Feb 2021 Eye : Bright red garnet, high viscosity, sticky. Med rim gap Nose : Pepper, plum, oak, earthy, rose petal. Note of cedar, citrus peel. Hint of puer tea. Complex Mouth : Strong acid, grippy tannin, very dry, and full bodied. Layered, underlying roundness. Robust structure but overally graceful on the palate. Mushroom, forest floor finish. Ultra length Decanted 2.5 hours to open it. To age at least another 5 more years from now.

Nice typical barolo. Very easy to drink though it is 2018 vintage, and good enough for feel the sour cherry flavor of it. But you can also feel it's high alcohol if you drink it too fast. Strawberry, mint, rose petal, graphite, stone, oak&vanilla high quality leather.

Love it. Worked well with steak and fish.

Medium red in color. Nose was strong of dark fruit, plum and oak. Full bodied taste of leather, raspberry and oak. Nice hints of cherry and vanilla on the long finish.

Stunning wine (2008). Decanted and left to breathe for an hour it became a completely different beast. Probably the best Barolo I have ever had. £40 was an absolute steal from a friend who is a wine merchant. He found this knocking around in his cellar.

Pale ruby, with just a touch of garnet. Thought I caught a whiff of fig on the nose, yes! Maybe some raisin and prune too. Some dried fruit, cherry, on the palate. Savory. Leather. Dried mushroom. Medium- body. Still has acid but not as vibrant as I expected at only 7 yrs old. Tannins present but hard to describe… ultra fine, ghostly and almost fleeting upfront but somehow linger on the finish. Overall more delicate than I expected, and a touch underwhelming.

Purista Nebbiolo como peculiar a este ícone italiano. Complexo, marcante, notas de madeira, acastanhado na taça. Aromas diversos. Vinhaço!

ラチャウにて。ピオ・チェザーレの「バローロ」。古典的なバローロなので、早飲みというより、熟成させたほうがいいですね。2018年でもまだまだ早すぎる印象。抜栓30分後から甘みとかが出てきました。ポテンシャルは高いです。 以下、ショップのコメント→クラシカルなスタイルのバローロです。全ての要素が調和されていて、しっかりとした骨格とエレガンスがあります。タンニンはしなやかで果実もバランスが取れています。リリース直後でも飲みやすいですが、長期熟成能力も兼ね備えています。単一畑の表記が無いワインですが、「普通のバローロ」と呼ぶにはもったいない素晴らしいワインに仕上がりました。

Late review. Well aired and paired with tenderloin dish. Beautiful nose full of black cherry, red fruit, earthy notes and black chocolate. Deep lenghty and velvety palate.

鉄、血、力強い、フランボワーズ、レッドベリー、ほんのりとカカオやハーブ かなり酸とタンニンが強いながらも、まろやかな果実感もある 非常に力強くもエレガント

明るいオレンジがかったレンガ色で熟成が進んでいる色合い。 香りは乾いた感じで干しプラム、乾燥イチジク、ドライフルーツとラズベリー。果実はラズベリー〜で、乾いた複雑さある香。 味わいはアタックは強めで酸味はしっかり、タンニンは強くてドライな骨格のしっかりした印象。 テイスティングでバルバレスコと一緒に頂きましたが、同じ作り手ピオチェザーレで違いは不明。

やや濃い目のルビー色、濃い目のピノノワール色 第一アロマは甘い黒系果実、第二アロマは樽香、アルコールが加わり複雑さを帯びる アタックはシャープな酸味→しっかりタンニン、全体的に穏やか 厚みは感じないまでも余韻が長く心地良い 1日目 タニッシュなピノノワールな感じで、香りの物足りなさも手伝ってジュヴレシャンベルタンっぽさを感じた 2日目 タンニンが落ち着きバランスが良くなったが、酸味も落ち着いてしまったのが少し残念だけど変化が楽しめて良し ネッビオーロってピノノワールぽいなあ、知らんけどw

深みのあるラズベリーレッドで、ラズベリー、カシス、ブルーベリー、スミレ、腐葉土、トリュフの香りがある。アタックはやや強く、しっかりとした酸味があり、力強いタンニンが感じられ余韻はやや長い。アルコール14.0%。

Ótimo vinho para dias quentes. Aromas minerais e pouco frutado. No paladar frutas maduras e pouca acidez.

ピオ・チェザーレ　1962年 やや濁りありガーネット色で縁は色を落としオレンジ色。 赤い果実、オレンジ、キャラメル、茎のえぐみ、紹興酒 とても綺麗な酸味は繊細で今にも崩れそう。ミネラルと複雑な香り。 ナッツのフレーバー。全体的にやや青い茎のようなえぐみを感じる。
