Superb German Pinot, from Bricole’s little wine shop in Prenzlauer Berg. This was recommended and delivered big time. Billed as a rival to good Burgundy, I wasn’t so sure but was absolutely excellent. Medium to full bodied, elegant and well balanced. Earthy, mushroom, far too drinkable. German wine: I’m in.
