Big, full and tons of Flavor...in my top ten of all time
Fruit bomb, delicious.
Smooth, silky, buttery perfection!
Great flavor, bold and enjoyable
Fruity and juicy. Not too tannic. Delicious!
Very rich and chocolaty! So yummy and bold in a pleasant way!
Great when you’re in the mood for a fruity wine
Loved it! Had it at a restaurant in Sedona!
Ojai, April 15, 2026
Heavy but sweet
At this price, this quality and style easily deserve a 5.0. Incredible value.
Bold Syrah but well rounded
Fantastic. Lots of layers and flavor
Best bang for your buck Syrah! Blackberries, plums and a touch of spice.
後味が良い!シラーの中で最高かも?!
Way better than the 2021 vintage, this 2023 vintage shoes the best of Paso Robles grape varieties, smooth, elegant and delicious, an excellent foodie wine!
From DrinkSampl.com! Blackberry, cherry and chocolate and baking spice. Full bodied.
Smart Buys $20
Yum! Berry forward rich and dark fruit
The wine maker called this a “chugable red” and that’s totally correct! Really heavy on the red fruits- cherry, raspberry, a little currant maybe; it’s delicious.
Smooth, pleasant on the palate. Not too bold. Flavor persists nicely. Notes: blackberry blueberry oak
Om nom nom. Acidic at the start, but smooth finish.
Chilled for an hour before drinking. plum blackberry Sweet smell, not too peppery.
Dejlig kraftig vin med masser af fylde, smag og kærlighed- virkelig lækker vin
Easy drinking nice taste with a hint of acid
Yum. Dark. Spice.
Wow excellent for the price. Dry, hits, flavorful. Not long lasting.
Wonderful example of Paso Robles Syrah. Balanced with suttule notes of oak. Clearly fermented with ripe and expressive grapes with lots of ripeness and flavor. Highly recommend as a well priced Syrah aged enough to make it relatively smooth and certainly delicious.
Fresh tasty fruit, pleasant with slight Smoky flavor
The Downing
Julia and I were both impressed by this rich Syrah. Fruit-forward with cherry, plum, and raspberry notes; it develops black currant toward the end, closing with vanilla, oak, baking spice, and a dash of black pepper. Long-lasting, smooth finish with velvet tannins and a faint, fleeting earthy note. Easy 15% abv. We enjoyed this one on date night. It paired well with both spaghetti carbonara and peppercorn-crusted beef tenderloin in mustard remoulade sauce + garlic mashed potatoes. 2.5.22
Delightfully yummy cherry raspberry oak oak plum

California Rhône specialist from Paso. This is a Grenache dominant blend aged 16 months in neutral oak. Bold but easy drinking black fruit of blackberry & bramble with juicy strawberry baking spice dark chocolate and a kick of pepper Paired great with a sirloin steak 🥩
The best Syrah from California I've had. Lovely balance of raspberry, blackberry, leather, and earthy black pepper.
NY Club A Strakhouse에서 마신 쉬라. 나 원래 쉬라 별로 안 좋아하는데 진짜진짜 맛있었다……❤️ blackberry dark fruit oak plum
Dark fruit , plum with long after taste. Another everyday wine from California. Value for money ;)
Great floral aromatics with some cherry, darker fruit on the palate with pepper and tannic finish
Great wine for under $20!
Very nice, smooth Syrah…great deal chocolate taste…nice wet finish… dark fruit cherry vanilla
VERY berry, like blackcurrant. A bit too strong possibly
Dark and mysterious. But taste it and the mystery is solved. A delicious red wine that is bold but not heavy. Great alone but definitely plays well with others.
Bold but well balanced with acid and tannins. Dark fruit and a lot of earthy notes and spices like licorice. Finish a bit short. Tasted better on day 1 vs 3. Great value at $20.
This is really pretty darn good and a great value at $15. All kinds of dark fruit and a bit of mushroom or forest floor. Long finish. Good tannin and acid balance. Great with green curry rub beer can chicken.
Powerful, ripe fruit blend. Spice, cooked black fruit. Medium tannin, nice long spicy finish. Brian loved it.
Nice blend, nice acidity, and lighter redfruit flavors that made it pair well with a wide variety if foods.
Oaky black fruit
Dry, black fruit, red fruit, hibiscus is very strong

Fruity, tasty delicious Especially for the price First Grenache I’ve had and I really enjoy it Has a nice body and is pleasant on the palate with a clean finish.
A nicely balanced blend - a solid choice for a casual dinner (meats or strident mediterranean, but perhaps not so much with dessert - so finish it with intention!). Or lift just a glass or two in the evening.
Fruit forward with a smoky nose and earthy background notes. A new everyday favorite
Great fruit blend for the price point
Good Cali Robles, big body and on the sweet side
Jammy and rich
A nice everyday red blend
chocolate jam earthy blackberry
Great depth.
Citris and blackberry
Dark ruby color. Cherry and leather on the nose. Dry, acidic, medium body with strong tannins. Notes of oak, blackberry, earthy. Licorice on the finish. A real treat!
Tried this at the vineyard in Paso and bought us a few for Tuesday night drinking. Fun bottle of wine
Great. Prefer it less cold or as it warms.
Dark fruit and oil. Chill this red and you won't regret it
Delicious. Bold and spicy.
Heavy blackberry. Enjoyed very much
This is a complex Syrah with spicy and peppery notes from dark red berries.
Dry. Little bit of bitterness. Could use 1 hour of decanting. Meat market
Mørk som natten, men lækker som en solskinsdag.
Jammy. Full bodied. blackberry dark fruit plum oak vanilla dark fruit leather chocolate
blackberry pepper cherry plum black cherry leather chocolate raspberry
Dry, dark fruit and smooth. Pair well with beef, pork and fruits, dark chocolate and nuts.
Some rose petals. Dark fruit. Blackberries. Dark cherries. The wine is bold, which is expected. Finish is a little short. Maybe 15 20 seconds.
Dense, but structured. All fruit (dark and intense) right now, but has serious promise. I have another bottle and will wait a while and see.
Strong dark fruit flavors throughout. Incredibly deep and murky and dense. Strong licorice finish. And the tannins at the end leave you smacking.
Big blackberry flavors on entry. Dark chocolate comes next. Balanced acidity, grippy tannins, a bit one-dimensional but satisfying nonetheless.
Dark ruby. Excellent qpr. Very much like TJ’s paso Syrah. Had with roasted peppers and taco salad. Stood up well. A nice surprise
Rich ruby color, slight fruit on the nose with cherry, blackberry flavors on the tongue, medium tannins with a nice complex finish. A very nice wine!
On the nose cardamom blueberry and cranberry. On the tongue notes of red cherry black olive mocha caramel and sage. If I hadn’t seen the price def wud have thought this to be much higher.
Deep purple color. Full body. Dry. High tannins that balance acidity well. Nose of tobacco and cherry. Flavors of pepper and blackberry not appreciated on the nose. Medium finish.
Big and young but still pretty balanced. Oak and pipe tobacco nose. Cigar box, cherry, blackberry, white pepper. Nice juice that packs a wallop at 15% AbV but wears it pretty well.
Mmm, deep opaque purple, blackberry, black cherry, cassis, leather and oak on the nose, robust body with a complex mix of dark fruit, very firm tannins, oak on the finish.
Excellent wine. Fruit forward, great acidity and structure. Should improve with a few more years on the shelf. Great oak and fruit character. Had it with lamb. So that didn't hurt.
A bold fruity Syrah from California. Inky purple colour, heavy bramble, blackberry and a sweeter raspberry finish. Tannins are soft give the wine a great feel. Long long finish.
Blackberry and dark cherry and oak. It’s Mcprice Myers making it happen. Great wine for the money. @[1|21289521|Landon Jaggers], @[1|19833491|Ian Leath] and @[1|27945983|Holy Smokes] you will like this. A lot. And you will love his other wines too.
The nose is pronounced with aromas of alcohol, plum and light oak. The color is garnet or a very dark ruby. This is bold wine with medium to high alcohol, medium tanins and medium to high acidity. The flavor characteristics are boysenberry, dark cherry, alcohol and light oak. The finish is medium to long. Overall this is a very good wine, that is great with spicy food such as Mexican braised beef.
Very fruit forward. Dark purple in color. Nose: lots of dark fruit like blackberries, black currant and some vanilla coming through. Palate: blackberries, plum, vanilla, black currant, black pepper at the finish. Short to medium finish. Medium-Low tannin. Medium acid. High alcohol. Paired well with a chili heavy in cumin.
Jammy blackberry, cherry, plum, black pepper
Had this for happy hour at the Stagecoach in Sedona
Great balance, not harsh at all. blueberry, chocolate, earthy, leather.
Smoke, earthy, dark fruit, tobacco. Lighter tannins than I expected. Great value!
Bold, dark fruit and spice, with a wonderful mouth feel. Real crowd pleaser. Faintly acidic. Delicious.

Southside. Sweet and dry.
Lots of pepper in this 2013. Long finish reveals the dark fruit and oak.

Quite excellent. A full-bodied, earthy Syrah that doesn't cross over into any weird territory. Not too jammy, with a Zin quality.
A deep dark ruby dry red. Complex berry and oak on the nose with blackberry and purple plumb in taste. Elevated smoky tannins in a lingering dry aftertaste. A rich and complex Syrah well worth exploring further.

Paso Robles, California Red Blend 🇺🇸 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Grenache, 12% Petite Syrah, 10% Syrah 6% Mourvedre Darkish crimson coloring with dark fruit on the nose. Blackberry, oak, blueberry, and cherry on the palate. Dry, with medium acidity, medium tannins, and a spicy finish of cherry, cocoa, and cinnamon. 14.8% ABV. This is an enjoyable red blend that paired great with Italian food. Cheers!!! 🍷🍷 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Reminds me of a Cornas. Fairly well crafted wine, but not brilliant. And uncertain why Cornas is an inspiration to the central valley. leather, mushroom, black current,
Solid - not spectacular. Run of the mill CA Syrah. Good value, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to find again.
Smokey, big wine. Lots of depth for a big protein meal or pasta. Smooth and relaxing.
Second day tasting, fern, cherry, raspberry comport, smell meat or some animals, eukaryotic, impact of fruit taste, bitter after taste
blackberry pepper cherry
Different from my usual - sweeter and with a little bit of spice. Aroma of jam
blackberry oak earthy jam
It’s good, if on sale
Southside. Acidic and dry.
Steak on the grille kinda of wine.
Solid 3.7. Blackberry, stone, dark fruit, dark cherry and soft tannins. Big, bold, and bright. Would drink again great wine.
Solid red blend. Slight fruit. Smooth and dry.
Cherries and chocolate
Thiiiicccc.
Audace e sapido, con vivaci sapori di lampone, cioccolato amaro e liquirizia che danno tono attraverso tannini forti.
Dirt, blackberries, alcohol, jam. Good not great, would buy again.
Smooth cherry, first sip was the best
Unique flavor. Smoky? I liked it, wife didn’t
Smooth, berries and fresh/bit tart.
Very solid, good contribution to any dinner party
3.5 Stars: Good - Pleasant, straightforward, drinkable, lacks depth. 2022 vintage Firm tannins, good fruit, nose is tame. Lacking something…
This wine tasted more like a Zin to me. Medium red color, strawberry, boozy, a little earth like mushroom on the aroma, some clove or other spice on the palate. Medium body with medium to firm tannins. The wine was decent but I would not buy again.
Big.ass.wine! Loaded! A little dry for my taste but ALOT of flavor.
Holy pepper and spice. A bit of northern Rhone from the central coast.
$14.99 Costco Honolulu. 14.8% ABV. Wow what a gut punch. Dark in the glass, smells of red fruit, oak (lots of oak), pepper, earth, throw-up. Taste chocolate, boysenberry, licorice, pepper, cough syrup. A different (for me) kind of wine. Wife thought it was terrible. Would not buy again but appreciated the experience. Right hand man is rather left out man.
Chocolate cherry nose, sweet jam on the palette. You can really taste the alcohol at 15.2%
Juicy, fruity. Not much depth.
High alcohol but vinegary spoiling the rest of the blackberry currant and cherry notes
It’s was ok - didn’t have anything special to it and was a little too fruit and blandy tasting...
Dark, bold red. Licorice and tobacco.
Tannins upfront and mid taste
Got better as I sipped
"this is very popular" said the waiter at Revivalist in Huntsville..... It's essentially Bota Box, not a grenache. Very sweet, almost fake wine
@The Pig. It’s packed in here! Liver got cancelled after I just got caffeinated. Aj doesn’t have covid, yay! My arms hurt from the 2 shots I had this week. Booster happening Tues. The wine is ok, a little acidic, deep & red. It will be paired with pork buns.
The finish is booty.
Eeeww, yucky, gross!!! We only finished it because….reasons. We fought our way through the bottle.
No thank you!
