Loved this! One of the most interesting Syrah's I've tried. Has some baking spice notes and some other characteristics that make it super interesting. Still a lighter body (like some of their other wines). An excellent value!

Really delicious US Syrah. Nose of blueberry, coffee, black pepper, savory herbs. Very silky, fruity and spicy and on the palette. Natural side (very minimal intervention), working with organically farmed vineyards. Unique blend of multiple terroirs to make a really nice syrah that is more value driven. 100% Syrah, 100% whole cluster fermentation (fruit has to be completely ripe she to whole cluster). Great value for the price.

Years ago while shotgunning Busch lights in a frat basement, if you told me I’d gravitate to inky, peppery, and dry syrahs, I would tell you ‘Busch is for the boys.’ But I find myself really drawn to this fantastic wine!

If you like olives you'll love this wine. Unfortunately for me I'm not the biggest fan of olives. Still a nice wine though.

Lovely Californian Syrah. Notes of cherry, plum and pepper. Hints of vanilla and tertiary flavours of dried leaves and forest floor. Opened wonderfully after decanting.

2025 "Cuvée-Syrah" which is not listed separately on Vivino. Super fresh blackberry, chalky tannins, black pepper, delicious acidity

Complexe syrah maar wel vol van body. Aroma’s van zwart fruit en pruimen zijn sterk merkbaar. In de mond een zachte wijn maar met veel mondvulling.

Light bodied Syrah with notes of red fruit, oak, baking slice, bourbon. Long smooth and aromatic, oaky sweet finish! Delightful

Ooh. Hearty! Cassis and a little funk on the nose. So smooth with some light acidity. Blackberry, blueberry and savory herbs on the finish. Amazing! 👌🍷🙂

Very saturated and extracted flavor. Notes of prune, fig, blackberries, black currant, and black cherry.

Pine tar on the nose. Plum. Rainbow peppercorns. Leather. Quite savory.

A nice Syrah, but not the lowest among Pax wines. Lacking the fruit and acidity expected, but still solid.

100% whole bunch fermented. 10 months in old French oak and concrete. Unfiltered and unfined. What a find in an airport lounge! Intriguing aromas of red fruit and floral notes (violet?). Served blind, I’d guess this was from SW France. Gaillac (pepper notes) or Cahors (red fruit and florality). I reckon the unfiltered nature is leading me down the Gaillac path. M(+) acidity. Nice length. Elegant. Well made. Subtle oak that complements and structures rather than flavours and dominate. 12

Good stuff. Not nearly as complex as other Pax but for price point well worth it and totally drinkable. Though it did get better 30-60min in glass.

Really enjoyed this. Spicy, pepper, and even a minty eucalyptus note or two. Gorgeous Syrah I’ll definitely be having more of.

Backlog 20220907 Second vintage I try of this 100% Syrah and this one was slightly better. No fining or filtration only neutral oak used. Drink 2022-2032

At restaurant Adam & Albin Yum yum! Blackberry, black cherry, smoke, pepper, oak, charcuterie and black olive! Very interesting and complex, well balanced! 🤩🍷

It was one of the most expensive wines I've tried (44$ from Miami wine store) but I can't say it is the best I've tried. It is an interesting, good and complex wine.

Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, moderate-firm tannins, dry. Red fruits, black pepper, savory. Some baking spice. Best with a little food/cheese

Funky syrah....has a little olive taste to it, but really interesting and unique. Would buy again, or give to a friend that wants something ‘different’, maybe perfect for someone like Ross.

100% whole cluster. Has a really nice complex and slightly vegetal quality to it for an entry level wine. This is a great producer for elegant and classically styled Syrah. Great value at <$30!

Purple, fizz, medium legs. Black fruit (cassis, blackberry), herbs (rosemary), mild funk. Mild sour, graphite. Medium body, medium+ acid, grippy tannins, medium finish. Fun, funky, a bit rustic.

One of the best CA Syrah’s I had. Although not so shiny and fruit acid pitched it came in with elegance. Dark purple, bold and thick, pepper, blackberry and a lot of herbal tones.

Crisp and confident Syrah slices through fatty meat wonderfully. Cherry, some green pepper and a long finish. Pure and punchy but not too heavy. Delicious with a bbq served cool.

What a great bottle, not to mention my first experience tasting a California Syrah. Medium-plus body, with a symphony of aromas: blackberry, plum, baking spice, and olive. On the palate, black fruit and black pepper. A very savory wine, with bold flavor and a medium acidity. Medium-plus tannin, followed by a long finish. Excellent!

A lighter bodied Syrah that could use a bit more tannin and structure. It's 100% whole cluster and spends 10 months in neutral french oak and concrete. Nose - blackberry, blueberry, pepper, savory, smoke, red fruit, oak, baking spice Palate - lighter than expected, juicy, blueberry and blackberry bramble with oak, smoke, pepper, leather, and a bit of red fruit

Superb. Definitely a cool tart juicy syrah with finesse. Cool climate high acidity refine medium tannins. Beautiful light dark fruit blue berry 🫐 earthiness licorice mint. Savory火腿咸鲜in the background. Not as peppery as St R.H . Very enjoyable . Tiny bit unfiltered funk. Thanks Leo recommendation need another bottle

Lovely bacon, pepper, salt, bloody tastes and textures. Tasted against a Clape 2014 and held up.

More earthy than fruity. Blackberry, red fruit and damp forest floor. Medium- tannins.

Oak and a light smokiness on the nose, blackcurrant as well. Smooth and fuller bodied Syrah with currant and smoke on the palate. Would pair well with some bbq meat.

Smooth fruity no bite. Easy to drink from first sip

Disappointed as they are known for their syrah but I liked the whites more. Strong camphor on the nose, not sure if it’s smoke taint or intentional. Really overwhelming but the palate still has some nice mix or black fruit and red fruit.
