2006, 2010-2013 Vertical of MM Echezeaux Pretty good consistency and the wine reflects to the vintage well. Despite the 2006 showing a bit abnormally, the 2010-2013 were really quite delicious. 2011 drinking best today, rest needs more time In the bottle.

2013 vintage Echezeaux— let breathe for 1.5 hours or so, which was well worth it. Aromas of forest floor, red fruit, cinnamon, and game. Strawberry, black cherry, and toffee sing through the body, accented with notes of cedar. White pepper, mushroom, and spice box are present on a lasting and beautiful finish. Tannins will enable aging for many years to come, but already a delight at current age. Majestic.

トゥール・ダルジャン東京にて、オーナーである「アンドレ・テライユ氏」との食事会。こちら「モンジャール・ミュニュレ」の「エシェゾー2015年」。1時間前抜栓ですが、香り全開。グラスに入れた瞬間、香水のような香りがしました。グレートヴィンテージなので強いかと思いましたが、バランスが良いですね。 以下、ショップのコメント→濃度の高いダークチェリー、ブルーベリーのような黒い果実の中にラズベリーなどの赤い果実も。黒糖のような甘味もありチョコレートケーキを食べているような雰囲気もあわせ持ちます。甘酸っぱいリキュール感をともなった酸味と黒糖のような甘味がバランスする瞬間にヴォーヌ・ロマネを感じることができます。このドメーヌのエシェゾーはエシェゾーの中でも最高の区画であるエシェゾー・デュ・デュスのものです。モンジャール・ミュニュレのフラグシップワイン。

Beautifully balanced and at perfect maturity for my taste. Cherry, chocolate, earth, crushed rocks, light spicy notes. So delicately perfumed with velvety tannins and a long length fresh acidity and saline finish.

This was our final wine of the evening, when we have gone from old to new. Just lovely. Traditional style Burgundy, everything in balance. Great fruit. Still rather youthful but excellent drinking now. A lovely finish for us.

Very evolved for a 3 year old, half bottle. Cherries, cranberry, liquorice and dried chilli flakes, clean sousbois and leather. Superb, only issue (and this is admittedly nitpicking) is slightly less concentration than desired.

Deep and intense Echezeaux. Gamey, dried rose, violet, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, black tea, dried herbs and white peppers. The 2014 vintage still shows a strong structure, so it took about an hour or two to open the whole aromas. Elegance fruits and flowers with wild animal. Great balance, great intensity and complexity with beautiful ruby red color. Excellent!

Burgundy tasting #7: This Echezeaux gran cru was fabulous. Medium bodied, elegant tannins, fruit and oak well balanced. Long lasting. red fruit: strawberry and cherry. Some black cherry. Also notes of mushroom, forest floor, licorice, leather, coffee, earthy. Amazing wine! 🍷🍷

Aroma: Deep and concentrated aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry and a bit of black fruit. Secondary notes of earth, forest floor and soft spice. Quite Vosne like. Unfortunately, being a 2013 vintage, I do get a bit of grapefruit. Palate: Feels like silk in ones mouth. Very pleasent and long lasting taste. Verdicy: Tasted alongsidef many other grand crus, and this was one of the best scoring contenders. Very rich and multilayered with great complexity. Well done

100225 Burgundy Night at THB Gastronomy with Joe, YJ, SY & KK YJ's btl! Nice and still fresh with power and firm structure. Like how it evolved in the glass and this still hold potential

Aromas: black cherry, cola, spices, tomato leaves, and vanilla. The palate has moderate acidity, good concentration, tannins that are very firm, just ripe and slightly dry and very good length. Warming, good concentration and pleasant. This is drinking now but has the potential to evolve another another 8-10 years. The 2013 is quite light compared to most vintages in the 2010’s, but shows no excessive under ripe notes or harsh tannins. Very elegant.

ミュニュレ、一言で言うとすごく美味しい！ アッタクはフルーツというより、喩えれば、すみれ、バラの香り。まろやかなタンニン。 酸味があるが、非常に上品で、エレガントに口に広がる。コレが口にほのかに残り、もう一杯飲みたくなる(^^) ヴィンテージ若いのでどうしようかと思ったが、コレだけ美味しければ問題ない。
