To date this is my favorite red I have had. Delightful nose of cherries, oak, and leather. Could simply enjoy the aromas by itself. Palate is silky smooth with high acidity. Very lengthy finish. This is really great burgundy. I love it so much.

Stunning! Bright cherry and lavender aromas. Strawberry, raspberry, mushrooms, and stewed tomatoes. Decanted for about 45 minutes. Love this!

Super premier cru pommard. Superb nose of damp earth, leaves and mushrooms. Deep purple in color and quite dense. Lashings of fruit. Plum, black cherry and some mushroomy depth. A treat.

Lovely, elegant wine, delicate, yet with tremendous charm and complexity. Pronounced notes of red currant and raspberry. Gave it an hour in the decanter before serving. I’m becoming quite a fan of Pommards.

Vraiment pas un habitué des Bourgognes mais il faut avouer qu'il m'a séduit. Excellent même à l'ouverture et même bu un peu frais! Il en a sûrement sous la chaussure.

At nose a bit spicy like a Northern Rhone. Light bodied balanced tannin and acidity.. quite young but okay. QPR is excellent for a Burgundy. Will age well. Overall : 92/100

Despite the 1er Cru vineyard name, “Clos Blanc” is planted with 100% Pinot Noir. The name of the vineyard refers to the limestone soils that dominate here. Complex and structured with deep concentration and pronounced characteristics. A burst of fresh strawberry, raspberry, red currant, black cherry, anise, white pepper, cedar, clove, chocolate, wild mushroom, and forest floor. With high acidity, medium tannins and a long finish, this wine checks all the boxes for an outstanding quality wine.

Paar flesjes op de kop getikt. Mooi dat typische pommard fruit; zwarte kers, pruim, getoast hout, iets ijzer/medicinaal. In de mond rood fruit, kruidnagel, met flinke zuren, en een lichte tanninestructuur. Afdronk is lang! Voor het geld goede wijn. Nog jong! Kan zeker nog tien jaar mee.

Tout bonnement excellent. Bu en 2018 avec un équilibre et une complexité de grande qualité. Au nez et en bouche c’est très expressif, bien sûr la palette de fruits rouges est dominante, appuyée par un fort côté terreux, atténué par le bois chêne et vanille. Une petite perle.

Pommard 1 Cru Clos Blanc Domaine Machard de Gramont (TS,CRSTTR,DEC21).  Fragrant bouquet of ripe red cherry, cassis, raspberries, subtle flower note, woodsmoke, new saddle leather, minerals. Charming, full bodied, fresh. Excellent with veal.

Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits, floral spice and smoky cedar notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry, plum and blackerry with notes of cacao, vanilla, spice and oak. Fine tannins, still tight, savory finish, ending with fruit, sweet spice and slight earthy mineral notes.

Delicious a lovely blend of fruit and animalistic notes! Cassis, wet forest floor, leather and mushrooms, medium body, light tannins, splendid acidity, delicious finish with mineral notes. A real pleasant surprise and at great value. My score 89, drink to 2020.

This is my 1000th anniversary bottle in this app. WOW I should choose a big label 😆. But it’s not bad.

Light brick rim. Roasted red and dark fruits, leather, dried floral, spice. Smooth tannins and balanced finish. Despite a hot vintage, this Pinot noir shows finesse.
