Vista Alegre Fine Tawny Porto

On our way to Toledo, Spain, last tuesday, wife & I had lunch at this great wine store & restaurant, Castelo Branco, where I paired dessert with this great portuguese fortified red blend from Porto by Vista Alegre winery. Brownished red color & amber reflexes. Fresh nose of raisins, ripe figs & cherry wrapped in nutty, chocolate & sweet spices notes. In mouth, unctuous, full bodied, high acidity, delicious dried fruit flavors with adequate sweetness. Great lasting, gifting delightfull chocolate
