Santa Rita Bougainville Petite Sirah

a very strange wine with a high rating. Disappointing at first with a strong lack of aromas, but decant it for a good couple of hours and with time it evolves to show raisin, licorice and herbal aromas. The palate is jammy, full and loud with flavors of prune, raisin and blackberry and herbs. Finish is acidic and full of chunky, herbal flavors. A wine full of sunshine @ 15%abv. Enjoy!
