C’est d’une finesse .. C’est fait avec amour. C’est fruité et léger à mort. Fruits rouges ou noirs je ne sais pas. Mais je pourrais en boire des litres et dormir dedans. Vin plutôt acide mais je le trouve fort bien équilibré.

Mon voyage en NZ m’avait fait ouvert les yeux sur d’excellents vins qui peuvent y être produit, bien au-delà des sauvignon blancs faciles que tous connaissent. Ce Pinot Noir fait partie de ces belles surprises de la Nouvelle-Zélande, un bon goût de fruits ayant pris du soleil sans avoir développé trop de sucres, juste assez dense, petite acidité qui rafraîchit le tout. A wonderful dinner at The Ritz Restaurant for Qian's birthday. I drank this iconic NZ Pinot with my main of Bresse Duck, liver & turnip. The wines nose, distinctive bright cherry aromas, slightly smokey woody notes and peppery spice. Supple palate with ripe red fruit flavours, gentle oak, savoury spice and hints of earth and a bright playful acidity. Super wine, stunning food, beautiful surroundings. What an evening!

Wine pairing at panorama room, Mount Cook village, NZ. This was with wild pork and ham hock terrine. Cherry nose. Initially quite tart, but smoothed with air. Still, main note was cranberry with oak, fading to cherry. Medium tannins. With the food, it really blossomed. Cherry licorice on the palate.

As a result, this wine is of good quality and is not suitable for bottle ageing. ブラインドテイスティング。 香りや見た目から明らかにピノで、産地をどこにするか。そこまで熟した様子がなく、樽とは違う感じのスモーク、樽のバニラはしっかり。以上から比較的冷涼、火成岩土壌?と考えてカイザーシュトゥールを選択。このあたりはもう少し経験が必要

Yes, this is a natural wine, but that should not be an excuse for what is basically a rough experiment at best. Notes of pear citrus tropical sourdough aniseed chard minerals. Clear, med amber. Clean with med intensity. Aromas of orange, fennel, apple, aniseed and nutty. The palate is dry with acidity and med alcohol. It has a light body and med finish. The intensity is med + on the palate and follows from the nose. Good quality wine. It is well made and clean however, it lacks fruit purity and definition which is a bit disappointing. It is frankly, just a bit average. Drinking now, not suitable for ageing.
