Sylvain Gaudron Vouvray Moelleux

Drank with a Vacherin Mont D’Or. A perfect pairing for this cheese but would have been just as good on its own! Very smooth and fruity. A favourite.

Très bon vin fruité mais avec des notes de fruit confit. Pas trop de sucre une acidité maîtrisée bref un très bon vouvray toute la quintessence du chenin

👁️ Jaune citron intense et lumineux 👃🏻 Un nez de miel d'acacia, fruits à noyaux, poire 👅 En bouche moelleux, un vin d'une jolie structure avec un petit caractère minérale qui rende chaque gorgée agréable sans jamais trop saturé le palais. Une acidité équilibré et une finale sur la poire... Je l'ai accordé avec un dessert Napolitain, une "Pastiera"😋

Not what I have imagined at all, this Chenin was full of green fruits: pears & apples, limes & a marmalade tang. Has a slight oak with a creamy feel to the mouth

Une robe dorée brillante. Un nez sur les fruits confits, le miel. Une bouche soyeuse avec une sucrosité balancée par une légère acidité qui donne un bel équilibre. Une finale fruité.

Quince, green grape, confected orange peel. Tangy, sharp, red apple finish. Searing acidity breathes a youthful energy into the wine. Long finish flexing with an edgy sharpness. Fresh as a button. Eternal stuff.  Hides it's alcohol (12% ABV), sugar (Moelleux usually 30-45g RS), and age (28 years) exceedingly well. Not at all Vouvray-like. But a wonderful oddity. Breakfast wine territory.

Vin moelleux, avec un arôme de fruits confits, bien moins sucré qu'un Layon, mais très bon A conserver en cave quelques années encore
