Toller Süßwein, der trotz hohem Restzucker, cremiger Textur und ausgeprägten Honignoten immer noch frisch wirkt durch seine Säure und Anklang von Citrusfrüchten. Im Finish eine minimale Salznote, sehr spannend! Hervorragend zu Foise Gras!

Smells like fresh wallpaper and citrus. Had in the wine shop in St Emilion. Sweet and syrupy, but still fresh.

An absolutely sensational wine of inter-galactic proportions! Wow! What a great experience to drink this superb wine. This was accompanied by the best creme brulee I’ve ever had. A wonderfully balanced wine, without being mediocre in any way. Just delicious drinking at the end of a great meal!!

Tasted over 3 days, it's 3 different wines. The aromatic pallet is as wide as apricots, quince, honey, candied citrus, pineapple and beeswax. Perfect balance acidity/sugar. Stor Sauternes. Smægtende smag af eksotiske frugter med en helt igennem perfekt syrebalance.

Yes!! This is a very high sugar content Sauternes with terrific honey lemon balance of fruit and acidity. Amazing length. This could stand up to some seriously sweet desserts.

Nice wine at end of meal at Drouant - paired nicely with Noisette dessert. Apricot, citrus, tropical notes, high acidity.

Palate has a lovely harmony of honey, citrus, and peach. Palate also has a very attractive woody-herbaceous aspect. Aromas of honey and apricot. Good acidity nicely balances sweetness.

A lovely and classic Sauternes with notes of ripe peach, fresh orange peel, fresh apricot, and honey. Excellent freshness and smooth finish. This one won’t disappoint, and it’s organic :)

Neighbors to Yquem... And a lovely wine! A textbook nose with hints of marmalade, putty, fresh paint and dried fruits. On the palate med+ sweet nicely balanced by the med+ acidity. A complex taste palate with fresh baked bread, cookie dough, marmalade, a sour hint, a refined bitter in the finish. It feels a bit rough still, and needs a bit more time to integrate further. Un joli vin qui profite du millésime: il est tout en fraîcheur, avec une sucrosité sans excès. C’est un domaine à suivre qui élabore aussi des blancs secs.

A very clean almost sober Sauternes.Some peach some white fruit. I really like the refreshing acidity in this wine and of course the long aftertaste.

Golden colour. On the nose honey, apricots and faint vanilla and spices. On the palate light bodied with high acidity and a long finish.

Fantastic Sauternes pairing for our dessert at La Table de Pavie in Saint-Émilion, which itself notably included what was doubtless the most amazing vanilla-ice-cream I’ve ever eaten. Notes of honey, orange zest, cinnamon, dried apricot and ginger.

(4,0) No classifications on the label, as this producer has only produced its seventh year yet. 7 hectares only in the village of Fargues. While not a top-Sauternes, it performs well. Well-made and worth remembering as it has a good price-quality ratio. Smell of honey, glue, fresh citrus aromas, rye and peaches. What can I say, its a Sauternes and it’s a very good wine.. Had this with desert on Thanksgiving. Went well with the pumpkin pie and even better with the Apple cake. The apples and cinnamon flavors really showed themselves well with this wine.

I found it a bit too sweet, but not too much. Botrytis-treated wine. My second attempt. I love Sauternes and this is a good one. But I prefer it to be more balanced. Sweet lime, dried apricot (as usual) and a mix of other dried fruits. 4.1-4.2

Nose: strong pineapple, mild papaya, mild passion fruit. After time, toffee. Palate: mango, lime, honey. Finish: honey fade. A little to tropical and sweet for me.

Big Sauternes. Classic. Bold, sweet and loads of acids. Almost sticks to the glass.

Pretty young Sauternes that I believe would benefit from further aging. Not overly sweet but lacking a bit in the body and balance in my opinion. Honey, fig, dried mango, peaches and apricots on the palate and classic botrytis signs on the nose. Would like to try again in a handful of years time.

A pleasant Sauternes with classic caramel, bitter orange and pineapple. Somewhat simple, but yet very enjoyable.

Easy drinking Sauternes. Fruity and a bit sirupy

Dégustation accord mets-vins à l’excellent « Auberge basque » de Saint-Pée (64). Le sommelier est à la manœuvre. Jeune sauternes plutôt typique. Nez gourmand abricoté. Raisin de Corinthe, pêche briochée, abricots secs en finale. Vraiment caractéristique.
