Vendange tardive, très fruité, parfait avec un dessert au chocolat !

Unbelivable, bottled from old cask, Nuts and apricot. If i blind-tasted it, I would have thought it as 20 years old Tawny port.

Lite on the tongue with a nice maple candy up on the front of the and hint of nuts at the end I personally really enjoyed it. It was a very nice treat.

Belle robe ambrée. Arome grillé de café, thé et de fruit confit au nez. De fines notes de prunes et de noisette en bouche. S'accompagne parfaitement avec un desert au chocolat.

An young Maury VDN the vines are the same from the one from 1925 - made with old vines now so - a charming wine that will age for decades

Neat. Very similar a port but tastes more like wine and less like spirits. Defiantly sweet but also mushroom and plums. Color was a pretty good brown red. Not as viscous as I thought it would be. Made me feel cool.

Starts sweet, is very long lasting, complex in its taste. Very exiting and inspiring wine. Low acid, sharpness in exiting contradiction to sweetness of wine. Served cooled in a small glass with French cheese.

Dark reddish amber colour. On the nose cassis, prunes, dried raisins, mushrooms and minerals. On the palate medium bodied sweet with medium acidity and a long plum and apricot finish. I like the idea of this as an aperitif.

L'oxydation de ce millésime apporte de doux arômes de noix et de caramel. Un régal pour accompagner un dessert aux pommes vanillées !

Vin doux, sucré, assez puissant

Un bosquet de noyers dans un oasis de dattiers caressé par une légère brise épicée dont la longueur vous chatouille longuement le palais, c'est juste parfait au dessert !

Hummm ! Quel bonheur avec ce gâteau chocolat crème de marrons. Superbe association.

Good sweet redwine for desserts. Sweet red berries and some licorice together with nice oak taste

Sweet and rich dessert wine. Full of cherry, strawberry, black currant, raisin. Not a perfect replacement for a tawny port but still went well with a cherry and chocolate mousse dessert to end a marvelous meal at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon.

Ça fait toujours plaisir un Maury en fin de repas ! Chocolat, fraise compotées, fruits secs, figues. Digeste et plutôt frais en bouche, donc ça descend tout seul 😃

Ein Tag nach dem 1977er getrunken. In der Farbe dichter im Nussbaum Farbton. Vollkommene Nase mit unzähligen Aromen. Im Schluck kommt noch eine leicht Säure zum vorschein. Der 20 Jahre eltere Bruder ist dan doch eine andere Liga. Trozdem sein Geld wert.

Great Maury!!

Sweet Sunday! A very senior Maury VDN with reputation here. This is a blend of Grenache, Macabeu and Muscat. Hazy orange colored. In the nose a mixture of raisins, nuts and spices. Med+ acids, spicy. Concentrated flavors in line with the nose, with a layer of chocolate and nice bitters on top. This is 17% abv, and probably was medium sweet back in the days, but now it is built down a bit. What a treat! 3,8* @cellar treasure tasting.

Tbh I can't really tell the difference between this and a fine ruby Port I just had, but I liked them both. This is a bit less viscous though.
