A bit of nose, this medium bodied Mencia is medium deep red in color. It is slightly acidic with some reasonable sour cherry flavors but lacking tannic backbone. It has a slight finish. As the consensus states, it is about 3.5*, a nice, everyday red. 12.5% ABV.
