About the Producer
Mewstone is an unpopulated island, composed of muscovite granite, located close to the south coast of Tasmania, Australia. The 13.1-hectare (32-acre) island has steep cliffs and a small flat summit and is part of the Pedra Branca group, lying 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southeast of Maatsuyker Island, and 22 kilometres (14 mi) off the south coast of Tasmania. Mewstone comprises part of the Southwest National Park and the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Site.

This wine is pale lemon colour and developing. Dry. Pronounced nose intensity. aroma character with lime, lemon, apple, orange, match, smoke, MLF(butter), yeast(biscuit). Pronounced flavour intensity. Dry. H acidity. M body. M(12.5%)alcohol. Long finish. 非常に高い酸味。シャープな酸味だがまろやかなニュアンスも。ほんの少しだけバターの香り。若いけど充分美味しいシャルドネ。温度が高くなっても酸があまり落ちなくて驚いた。線は細いが味わいは強い。コスパが凄い。1年経つだけでもどんどん変わっていきそう。

Pronounced flavour intensity. Dry. M＋acidity. M body. M tannin. M(12.5%)alcohol. Long finish. 前は黒果実を中心に感じていたが、今回はあまり感じなかった。
