Allspice, very spicy, sweet and nice. Reminded me of pumpkin pie. I think it would be great with pumpkin pie or pecan pie.

アパッシメント（陰干し）を行ったガルガネーガをつかった珍しいソアヴェ。 柔らかい酸味、濃厚な果実味、心地よいミネラル、ソアヴェ特有の苦味が素晴らしい。 熟したバナナ、黄リンゴなどの甘い香り。白い花やと蜜の甘さも感じつつ、粘性は高く骨格もあり余韻も素晴らしい。 先日のRicchi のシャルドネといい、陰干し白ワインが美味い。 Vino Hayashiで税込3,960円。

Phenomenal wine - great with anything

Drank the 2012 in 2020. Just the right amount of age on this. Cranberry, Strawberry jam, and raspberry, and a touch of allspice.

This is awesome, jammy with a decent amount of earth and game , almost vegetal quality, full and rich , drink now “ it’s there “! May not have a ton left in the tank at this age

This was a surprisingly good wine in the $10 range. Extremely well balanced, both in fruit and dryness. Keep an eye out for it in stores. From WSJ. Paired it with grilled jerk chicken.

This was a surprise. Surprisingly light for a spanish red, but worked wonderfully. Very easy to drink and with some nice light red fruits including strawberry coming through. A nice surprise.

Rich on the nose - lots of berries but I swear I get a juniper scent as well. On the pallet my husband says “cherry cobbler all day!” Let good one breathe before enjoying so the tannins not so tight.

A dark brick coloured wine that is browning at the edges. It smells of oak, mushroom and jam. This wine may be just coming off its peak, given the hint of mushroom in its smell, but it still has lots of red fruits and sour cherries tastes accompanied by pepperiness and earthiness. Its tannins have smoothened out, and it benefited from an hour of airing. A great QPR wine.

Deep Purple and Dark Earth in color. Big, Bold Nose of Blueberry, Sweet, Juicy Blackberry, Oak and Leather. Soft, Tannic mouthfeel with continued flavors of Blueberry, Blackberry, Oak and Mushroom leading to a long beautifully Tannic and Oak finish.

After recent tastings of very approachable Navarra and Valdepenas reds, this from Campo de Borja is quite different. Admittedly more bottle age, this is a paling crimson, a dry style, but with sweetly ripe red fruits, demanding of food accompaniment. streaked with spice, fine length. Great value.

Can smell the age on this baby - nose is leather, cherry, dry, musty, oak. The taste is intense bright cherry with hints of licorice and leaves a lingering oak note and bone dry with steady acid from the start.

The wine pours a beautiful ruby red in the glass. On the nose, I get notes of black cherry, raspberry, black currant, and a slight hint of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is soft, smooth and supple with hints of raisins and figs as it coats the mouth. A very delicious wine from Spain!

A big blast if oak on the nose, dark fruit with a powerful hint of blackberry, lovely smooth vanilla taste running through it. Really nice little wine, was so close to giving this 4.5 but just had a tiny bit missing

This red from the Grenache area in Spain’s Aragon has a surprising 40% cab Sauvignon. It has a deep brownish hue with oak and Vanilla on the nose. First taste is fresh dark and red berries. Followed by distinct but smooth oaky tannins and hints of leather. Vanilla follows through and then the very ample length shows all combined. This 8 year old is still youthful and very enjoyable. A characterful wine of good pedigree.

Light to medium crimson color. Black cherry, earthy, and gasoline nose. Bold and dry, with medium acidity. Notes of blackberry, oak, tobacco, black cherry and pepper. Soft tannins, and a medium, acidic finish.

Bold, dry, and well-weighted in its tannins. One experiences a dimly delightful dance between blackberry, oak, green bell pepper, anise, and minerals. Thoroughly enjoyable, and punching well above its weight as far as value is concerned.

A solid Spanish wine with plenty of aging potential! We drank this 2012 in 2021 and it still had abundant ripe fruit flavors. Some bottle-age character but still developing! Medium ruby in the glass. Present med+ dusty red fruit aromas. Dry but with lively fruit and medium acidity and body. Tastes old world. Stone-steel character and earthy notes are the base with red cherry and aged dried res currant as the primary flavors. Mineral and fresh with earthy cave on the finish. A very nice wine for

Spainish Garnacha a lovely smooth wine. A great spicy nose. A nice garnet hue that is browning slightly on the edge. A hint of vanilla on the finish. Raspberry, cherry and blackberry with notes of leather and tobacco. Tannins have rounded out. Very drinkable.

Bright and fruity medium bodied cherry top notes underpinned with vanilla and hints of cinnamon fading into its slightly tannic finish. I paired with pork belly and roasted autumn veg, with which it complimented nicely.

After only a few minutes from opening (at least 15 mins), this becomes a lovely, elegant wine. Good tannins. Nice acidity. Well balanced. On the negative, its enjoyment has a very narrow window. Loses most of its appeal just one day after opening. Perhaps it's a touch past its prime? To be honest, I'm now thinking it was over rated by Halliday, which is what prompted my purchase. But for this fact, I'd rate 4.5. Definitely do not decant.

Easy drinking and still am getting those plum notes in this 2014. Awesome pick from wines of the world.

I should have opened it a while before we drank it, definitely got better the closer to the end of the bottle.

It is a rich, elegant white wine with very clean acidity. とてもきれいな酸を持つ、芳醇でエレガントな白ワインである。

Dry, and rather light. Slightly spiced, with plum and blackberry notes. Tobacco and leather, with a little oak and peel on the palate also. A really enjoyable Grenache.

A cold late autumn night out there, perfect for the tobacco and spices in this Rioja to travel thousand of miles across the Atlantic Ocean to a Spanish taberna and drink the night out

I do like grenache as a wine and if you are drinking one why not a Spanish one.This was a good one lovely fruit, good acid balance with nice tannins with a great length

Ah, Spanish Garnacha, my old friend - although an ambiguous story on the label perhaps suggesting cab sav in the blend 🤷‍♂️ Translucent ruby, hint of copper edge, nose of cedar and suggestion of underripe red berries. Which kind of transpires on the palate: medium bodied, raspberry, but then a bit more complexity with tobacco leaf, vanilla and oregano. Really appeals to me, with a touch more density this would’ve matched my taste deluxe, insane value by the way 🇪🇸🍷

Rhiannon brought this round. Rach has a few sneaky sips and really liked it. Woody, cigar box forest floor smells. Guess that’s because of its age. Thinner side of medium body. Not sure on the after taste. Had it with pasta and was perfect with it.

On the lighter side but still had a decent depth, little tannins and acidity is medium. Slightly garnet in colour with flavours of oak, leather, cherry, vanilla, blackberry and plum

On the light side with silky tannins and bracing acidity. Not much of a nose, but what was there were oak artifacts-- maybe vanilla. Dark fruit palate, plum, blackberry. Just a little spice on exit. A very typical everyday Spanish wine.

Decently dry, not too dry though. Tarte, cranberry, raspberry, blueberry, oak, slight tobacco, a like creamy.

Sour cherries and cassis a bit thin with a bit more acidity than I would like. There is some complexity but lacks the smoothness that I feel would make it a really good wine.

2012 vintage. Solid red. Nothing too special but interesting red fruit interplay with earthy mushroom undertones. A musty smelling nose. Much better after decanting for 30-60 min.

Good with cuts of cheese and jamón serrano
