Passito della Sicilia occidentale da uve moscato bianco. Si presenta di un bel colore giallo dorato con profumi di albicocca, datteri e miele. Dolce ma non stucchevole, armonico, prevalgono le note di frutta disidratata, buccia d'arancia e mandorla nel finale. Da assaporare con un bel cannolo siciliano.

Giallo ambra intenso. 100% Moscato Bianco. Vinifica e affina in acciaio per 6 mesi. Al naso apre con note spiccate di frutta a polpa gialla, dove emergono la pesca e l’albicocca disidratate con bella intensità, seguite da cenni di miele e fichi secchi. Al palato apre con una parte speziata, senza però perdere la freschezza, emerge una parte di vaniglia, con bella acidità e bella persistenza sul finale.

88/100, Moscato appassito, ben fatto ma rimane il fratello minore della Malvasia e si sente. Aromatico non a sufficienza, va bene per inzupparci la pasticceria secca ma rimane ben poco il bocca ed anche al naso. Peccato, rimane un buon vino ma non esplode in bocca.

The final drink of our tasting menu experience at the incredible Ristorante Lido ‘84 and this was a great finish. Hazelnuts and raisins flavoured with a hint of bitter orange. Perfect ending to a perfect meal.

A gift for Sunday lunch. Brought back wonderful memories of eating and drinking our way through Sicily a couple of years ago. Extremely complex with raisins, nuts, honey. Viscous in the mouth. Unstoppable!
