Very good dessert wine. Good with blue cheese, especially the very natured kind like fourme d’Embert. Good with tarte tatin too. Loved it. honey apricot caramel
If you wish a dessert wine Not too sweet, this is good choice. Apricot flavor, and taste of caramel, honey and flowers, it’s quite complex, but well balanced. Love it!

This fortified wine is the prefect closure for a nice meal. Its sweetness and persistent honey and caramel finish will leave you uplifted.
Medium sweet with perfumed aromas of rose, orange, and flowers. Rich texture with honeyed orange, Turkish delight, spice, and marmalade notes. Complex
Room-filling aromas of orange blossom but take a sip of this gem and there's Turkish delight, honeyed fruit and loads of almost Christmassy spice in there, too. Unbelievable when paired with puddings like crème caramel or tarte tatin.
Great spanish dessert wine. Limpid golden color. Astonishing nose with orange, daisies, almonds & caramel. In mouth good body, unctuous, good acidity, at measure sweetness and exciting flavors. Long lasting with remarkable almonds & caramel aftertaste. Great daily dessert wine. Cheers!
Superb dessert wine. Although there is 15% alcohol the taste is fresh and light bodied. Also nice next to a plate of cheeses.
Amber dessert wine made from Muscat of Alexandria grapes. On the nose guava, orange, clover. Tastes of orange, fig, peach and hazlenut.
Considering the price, this is very impressive. To sweet for most desserts, but if you make more neutral dessert if fits perfectly.
The wife has found memories of this wine being drunk regularly by her parents. So she bought and drunk a couple of bottles. Not at all bad
Very good desertwine , sweet but not too sweet. Suitable with many different deserts , maybe not with chocolate but there are a lot more. ....
Great desertwine. Sweet, smooth and sticks to the glass. Very fruityon the nose. Melon apple and pear with a very delicate hint of lemon/citrus.
A refreshing sweet wine that has grown on me. Tangerine and honey without being overly sweet. A little goes a long way so it's a bargain!
Flower and honey. Golden color and medium bodied. Finely balanced with an exceptional finish. Excellent before or after a meal.
Very nice. Sweet and smooth with delicious flowery notes. Caramel coloured and surprisingly light for such a range of flavours in a dessert wine.
Very affordable dessert wine. Suggest to serve with sauted dates wrapped in smoked bacon.
4.1 - just lovely, exactly what you need after a lovely meal on a cold night in the South of England. Light honey, hints of raisins and honeydew lemon.
This is a marvelous end for a perfect meal - beautiful color, honey and Orange taste, accentuated by caramel. Perfect with creme brulee, cheese cakes and even cheeses.
I’ll get another bottle - it’ll be good for Christmas. Serves up peach, lychee, orange and caramel. Sweet but not cloying. Smooth and gently warming.
Amber color. Some sweet raisin and honey on the palate. Really nice digestivo and also a good pairing with strawberry and vanilla ice cream. Recommend. Like! 👌
Amber color. Intense aroma of oranges, muscovado and nuts. Sweet taste with notes of oranges, muscovado, toffee and some nuts. Typical for the varietal. Good!
A dessert wine fit for guests without breaking the budget. Will give a headache the next morning from overconsumption but keen to repeat the process for investigative purposes.
What a perfect way to end the night. Blend of caramel, orange blossom, red apple and floral bouquet on both nose and palate. Easy, sweet sipper. Spanish classic since 1946.
Airport tasting. Lots of honey and flowers. Transfered elegantly to the palate. Sweet, as a muscatel should be, but not too much. Will definitely work well with pastry or cookies.
Quite sweet but less than tawny/sauternes. Floral, honey, sweet longan smell. Medium acidity. Good taste, watery not thick. Good dessert wine on a lighter end of the range.
3.8 ABS RECONHECIMENTO 2025 NOV 24. Nice Spanish dessert wine. Amber yellow color, complex aromas, ripe fruits, citric notes, compote, raisins, agreeable sweetness, rich, medium-long finish.
Mainly orange and orange peel on the nose with caramel and orange on the mouth. Not too cloying and a small amount spice and star anise. Works very well with home made tiramisu.
A gorgeous moscatel, this. Floral nose is strong on orange blossom and dried fruit, full bodied flavours range from honey and fig to pear and caramel. Great poise to the sweetness and acidity.
A much different desert wine and a wine I was not familiar with from Torres. Golden yellow color with sweet raisin taste. A bit too sweet for my taste or maybe I didn't match it well with the food.
M.Amber sweet moscatel.Nose: intense,sweet spices,peach cobbler,sun dried apricot&tangerine.Palate:lightly acidic,toffee,honeysuckle and almost long aftertaste!Great dessert wine
incredibly floral on the nose, but astringent. Honey, apricot. Very sweet, borderline syrupy. The flavor lingers but the syrup texture does not. Very pleasant dessert wine!
Color ambar intenso. Aromas a jazmin, naranja y a caramelo, intensos. Dulce, con baja acidez y cuerpo medio. Sabor intenso a frutas y flores. Buen final
An excellent dessert wine with a great bouquet of flowers. Deep amber color Apricot, flowers, mint, honey On the palate full honey, ripe fruit, strong body, sweet, light acidic
Deep toffee brown with hues of orange. Lots of floral notes on the nose with citrus top notes. Extremely light with cinder toffee giving way to honeyed peach. Not sickly or clawing but absolutely delicious with blue cheese.
Muscat, amber color, gives off floral aromas, in the mouth it is concentrated, important presence of nuts, apricot and some mint, unctuous, low in sweetness to be dessert wine, long finish. Excellent for talk after eating👌🏻!
Amazing wine! Light caramel color with very high density. Lots of red apple, cinnamon, vanilla and spice together with orange citrus fruit. An explosion of flavors with apple pie, orange liquor and spice. Nice mouthfeel with a long long finish.
Apricot, raisin, peach, apple, all wrapped up in a lovely caramel and toffee flavor. Also, not too sweet - which I love in this type of wine.
Smells of flowers, some honey. Tastes like orange peel jam. When paired with deserts however it becomes mediciny, like cough syrup. I suggest pairing it with cheeses instead, traditional Lithuanian sweet curd cheese with caraway seeds.
This is a gorgeous gold color (probably hence the name Oro) and on the nose is an outrageous peach candy note that just smacks you in the face. On the palate it’s full bodied and thick like honey. The peach is there on the palate with florals and other tropical fruit like mango and banana. We LOVED it!
Gorgeous caramel brown color. On the nose caramel, rye bread? & gentle apple juice. Tastes of apple juice, apricot, mostly honey, even brandy? Has a strong caramel finish. Extremely sweet, kinda hard to drink Saltier cheeses helped balance it out. Chocolate gave extra soft brandy vibes. Oddly enough, sour and gross with caramel things. A bit too sweet with strawberries, gave pure honey. However very good with croissants, turned into apricot & honey, with a bit of butter.
I apologise for my ignorance but you learn something new every day. Really had one like this from Spain beautiful colour honey and dry fruits but it dies quite quickly.
Always reliable and a great value dessert wine. Light texture, making it totally fit for purpose and flavours of ripe apricots and brandied raisins. Good, solid stuff.
On the nose apricot, orange, caramel and lychee. Tastes as on the nose with additional honey and toffee. On the palate bold, sweet with balancing acidity.
Dark brown color, Sarsi nose, light caramel honey, pair with coconut Ondeh Ondeh brown sugar cake & Partagas serie D 2010 Cuban cigar at TTs home with Wilson, Teik, WM and Jan.
honey apricot caramel orange peach raisin apple orange peel orange blossom vanilla marmalade dried fruit ginger dried apricot elderflower tropical tangerine golden raisin pineapple
Super moscatel with a beautiful bottle and soooo grapey. I love this style of wine and a great match with brandy snap baskets and whipped cream. honey apricot peach raisin
Fortified wine, varietal Moscatel, from the region of Penedes. Very flavourful, a little bit overpowering even, it could have slightly more balance, nonetheless a good QPR. Amber colour with golden reflections, a strong beautiful nose, with flavours of dried apricot, peach, honey, vanilla, toffee, hazelnut, almond, lightly smoky.
Spanish south sending greetings with this one to all the colder countries. Strong peach orange blossom nose, lazy like sunny afternoon in Costa del Sol. Very sweet toffee caramel palate, bearable only in small doses. Honey rose petal finish. Recommended dessert in the midst of winter at north hemisphere.
Beautiful soft notes of honey, caramel and dried apricot. Rich, sweet yet well balanced with acidity. Overall a very solid golden moscatel (Oro) dessert wine, would definitely purchase again at this price point.
It paired nicely with my Suspiro Limeño! Nice acidity to it! More complexity would be great but expected at this price point!
The label says it all. Floral, honey, peach, mango, apple, melon. Thick mouthfeel. Hyper sweet of course, but balanced by the acidity. Cellar leftover opportunity.
Super tasty desert wine. Worth the buy. Nose: rose, candied orange, lychee, and hints of marzipan. Palate: candied grape, candied orange, prune, caramel, raisin, and lychee.
Nice to enjoy some sweet dessert wine. Honey, dried fruit and harmonic floral taste all the way... Enjoyed with cloudberry cream brulee with Paula while trying to book the flights to Mexico.
Good dessert wine from Torres. Deep gold yellow. Nice pleasant floral aroma’s Honey, orange blossom, apricot jam. Good value I recon. Can recommend it
Spain tasting notes: 1. Looks: Exhibits a captivating golden color, typical of quality dessert wines. 2. Nose: A rich and inviting aroma profile, with dominant notes of apricot and honey-dipped peach. Subtle undertones of clementine dust add to its complexity. 3. Palate: The palate is a luxurious blend of flavors. Key tasting notes include dried apricots and peach, complemented by a sweet layer of orange marmalade. This wine pairs exceptionally well with a variety of desserts, enhancing the flav
This was the second option to pair with the dessert (chocolate textures with Canarian banana icecream), but was a better one. 8,7 PM
