Confirming my previous review of this wonderful Sherry made 2,5 years ago. It shows great balance and excellent QPR. 100% Palomino Fino from Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cadiz, Andalucía). Matured for 3 years in American white oak barrels (under the flor during first time and without in the end). Fortified by liquor made of PX. Noble wood colour. Aroma of macadamia nut, almond, mushroom and fig. Taste of hazelnut, dried apricot and dried fig. High acidity perfectly balances 40 gpl of sugar, medium aft

My first true sherry. Nice caramel aroma, nutty flavor. Serve with a savory dish, or save for a delicious after dinner treat.

Excellent blend for a truly near-dry sophisticated sipper. Many of the notes of sweet sherry or port but without the sweetness.

Enjoyed daily for a mth. At first, i missed the sweetness of port, but 1 wk in i luv it semi dry. Nutty n savory just right for after dinner drink. I've definitely graduated from sweet fortifieds.

3.8 Don’t want to get overexcited but I do like it - very pleasant with nutty aromas, dried fig and dried apricot on the palate. Also made my humble chicken pasta much more palatable.

Intense amber color. Orange peel, orange marmalade, raisins, and hazelnuts on the nose. On the tongue, fig, cream, lemon pith, raisins, caramel, orange peel, and almonds. And alcohol, of course. Gets watery towards the ending, then a final rush of walnuts. Three out of ten on the sweetness scale. Not as intense as other sherries I’ve had. Sippable. On the nose; almond, tangerine, brioche, walnut, and honeysuckle. On the pallet; almond, walnut, rye bread, and (faint) tangerine pulp. This is what you can get when you take oak aging to an extreme. The nutty, oak flavors almost overwhelm the citrus fruit notes that are barely hanging on. I love it, but it’s an odd taste that the typical drinker may be taken aback by.

Однако отличный херес с хорошим балансом и свои 999 рублей - явно стоит. В аромате сначала сырой подвал, дрожжи, шампиньоны, карамель, миндаль, финики, груша, ваниль, коньячные ноты, орехи, ирис. Во вкусе груша, зелёное яблоко, финики, мед, карамель ирис, изюм. Сахар ощутим, но напиток универсальный -это отличный аперитив и дижестив. Многие люди, не понимают херес и часто ставят ему низкие оценки... Можно понять - напиток своеобразный, да... Но мне по душе🤗 3.9/5

Фундук, сушёные финики, чёрный изюм, дуб, земля, жареные семечки, чёрный чай, джем из алычи, засушенные травы. Кислотность средняя+, тело полное, полусухое, во вкусе финики, орехи, чай, послевкусие среднее+. Свежий и сочный херес, без обременяющей сложности ароматов.

3,8 Ашан 900 р. Мне понравился амонтильядо, 40г. сахара дает лёгкую сладость, но не приторную как в портвейнах. Вкус, конечно, не слишком яркий, но так и выдержка недолгая. Сухофрукты, деревяшка - приятно, гармонично, ароматно, хорошо наслаждаться закатом и вспоминать Испанию.

Очень порадовал этот Херес 😃 (мой первый настоящий Херес!). Интересная штука! Аромат очень многогранный - инжир, орехи, курага, мед, немного яблока или груши… Чувствуется легкий специфический запах дрожжей. Вкус очень приятный, хотя и своеобразный (на любителя). Очень красивый янтарный цвет. Можно пить с любым блюдом. Стоит повторить! 👍 На здоровье! 🍷🍷🍷

A tasty, pleasant desert wine, that was paired successfully with Nara (Japan) Camembert. (A 2 star restaurant in Nara). It’s not too sweet, well balanced with cheese

Rich amber colouration in the glass. Flor notes on the nose intermingled with the scents of autumn. Nutty on the palate with a slight sweetness and supporting notes of toffee and raisins.

A bit of sherry before dinner. Am I getting old? 😂😂 👁️ Light amber. 👃 Smooth, wood-aged aromas with almond and hazelnut followed up by cinnamon, clove and cardamom. 👅 The nut flavours are prominent, followed by apricot, caramel, and raisin. 💷 At £17 from Ocado, this was well worth it … but I’m no sherry expert.

Mooie heldere lichtbruine kleur. Intense geur, licht oxidatief en ook ingetogen geur toffee, rozijnen, hazelnoten, koffie, umami. Milde wijn in de mond, zuren laag en weinig restzoet. Gemiddelde body en lange afdronk. Bijzonder om te proeven, lekker ook nog!

#️⃣3️⃣2️⃣8️⃣ - Spanish Amontillado Sherry Fortified. Я думал, что это будет плотно и сахарно, а оно реально полусухое и легкотелое. Очень приятный нос цукатов и сухофруктов, типа изюма и кураги. И медовые нотки. Красивый цвет янтаря. На вкус легкое и даже водянистое. Но и спиртинка ощущается и сахарок, хотя его тут много, но упрятан отменно. Цена скромная, что радует.

Сушёные груши, яблоки, курага, цукаты. Приятный вкус

Херес - это всегда хорошо! Этот простоват, без изысков. Но всё равно хороший.

I tired this Spanish Sherry late last night, it was ok. You instantly get hit with those nutty and dried flavours off hazelnut, dried fig, prunes and is finished with some caramel and toffee hints. It’s medium to full bodied at 17%. It’s a light brown walnut in colour and has those dried apricot aromas on the nose. I’m not a massive fan particularly with Sherry, but this is ok and completes another style.

An affordable semi-sweet stuff. Candied fruit, dried orange, nuts and caramel apple. Medium-body, good balance of sugar and acidity. Tasted by glass at Ten restaurant Tula.

From Laithwaites. It has a light amber hue with smooth, aromas of cinnamon, toasted almonds, and caramel. The palate is nutty, with dried fig and clove notes, and a persistent finish.

Good QPR. Very Porto like but not too sweet or sirupy. Hazelnuts, fig, caramel and some vanilla on the nose. Light body

Имхо просто прекрасное соотношение цена/качество. Дёшево и вообще не сердито 😁 Амонтильядо, пусть и не бочонок, а так, рюмочка... В аромате ненавязчивый жженый сахар, квасное сусло, бородинский хлеб, мокрая, старая, слегка заплесневелая бочка во влажном подвале. А вкус нежный, маслянистый, очень мягкий, во вкусовом плане хересно-нейтральный, что-то там про сухофрукты, осень, узбекский базар и грибы в тёмном подвале 🍄😉 В общем ничего особенного, но и никаких раздражающих косяков. Очень даже

Повторный подход. Розлив 03.04.2024 Коньячный цвет. Яблоки, мёд, изюм, карамель,

Апельсины и цукаты с выпечкой в аромате и простом прямолинейном вкусе. Сахар ощущается, но не доминирует. Несложный, но мягкий и питкий образец.

Разбавленный кофе в цвете, орехово-яблочный запах, мягкий маслянистый вкус с подкопчеными сухофруктами, не кажется сладким. Розлив 03.04.2024, алк.17,5%, сахар 4%, 100% Паламино Фино урожая 2021. Отлично сочетается с вишневой кислинкой из десерта.

Яркая база, на этот раз из амонтильядо, дававшая итоговому напитку смеси из орехов и жёлтого изюма во вкусе, уводила профиль этого напитка в какую-то свою плоскость и придавала неизменное очарование. 88/100.

В носе курага, сушеные персики, инжир, яблоки, груши, немного пионов, воска, резины, может укроп и соль. Во вкусе сухофрукты и яблоки. Сочно, сладко в меру, но сладко, алкогольно в меру, минерально etc. "Цена-качество" определенно. Это да.

Genomen omdat het moest aansluiten bij zowel kaas als zoet. Vond hem echter wat waterig.

Lovely little pre dinner aperitif A nutty toffee caramel nose. On the palate nuts predominant but toffe and caramel balance dryness and sweetness.

A very pleasant and enjoyable Sherry for a late night tipple. Honey and raisins, with cloves and walnuts. Some really nice flavours and a slightly hot finish. 3.4 rating.

Deep amber in color. The nose has notes of toffee, caramel, raisins and nuts. The palate is dry, with notes of dried fruit, marmalade and walnuts. Medium(+) body and alcohol, low acidity. The complexity is medium, but interesting. Medium length with a rich, slightly sweet finish with some heat from the alcohol. Overall, an enjoyable and good-quality sherry.

Rarely met a sherry i didn't like. Some sweetness on this very nutty amontillado. Dates, figs, someone said black pepper. Respected producer. Enjoyed. Older bottles may have substantial sediment. Try with nuts and cheese.

But sweet and not my favorite level of balance.. but really varies based on serving temp which can provide some fun range.

Quite unusual Amintillado made in Semi style. Perhaps too much sugar for me. From another hand has both attributes of biological and oxidative styles. Semi sweet with medium - acidity, fully body, medium alcohol and finish. Pronounced aroma of dry apples 🍎

3.0 Какой-то сладковатый оксидированный дилжестив. Чем-то напомнил 777 по аромату. По вкусу лучше, но все равно - не мое, не понимаю этот напиток от слова совсем. Может, не дорос.

У них рядом стоял 30 летний Амонтильядо, на его фоне, все померкли, тем более простой 10% медиум драй.
