Precioso color de naranja confitada. Notas de acetato de etilo, piel de naranja y ebanistería. En boca es goloso, de ataque casi dulce, lleno y aromático a naranja en dulce. Muy largo y muy rico.

Unfiltered wine with a toffee caramel nose. Hazelnut, antique furniture shop, dry nutty biscuity and very refreshing. Bring on the jamon iberico.

Young and En Rama so a slightly different style of PC but utterly delicious. Definitely fresh with a noticeable Fino edge. Walnut yeast caramel

Real elegance here - subtle briny flavors wrapped in more substance than most Sherry. Hints of Almond and Hazelnut. Restrained in a good way - doesn’t hit you over the head but lures you in. PC of a very high standard and reasonably priced!

It’s an amazing wine with developed bouquet but still has some refreshing character. Intense nose of almond, fig, raisin, with subsequent dried dragon eyes and saline. Dry, medium acidity, full body, 19% alcohol with good complexity.

An absolutely superb PC. Purchased this week from TWS. Autumn beckons the orange burnt glory of Oloroso etc. This has brilliant poise. Tawny coloured, tobacco, orange, walnuts. Amazingly complex, espresso coffee, orange zest, walnut, a certain sweetness hits, then the coffee then a lovely salinity on that finish. Whammo!!!!

One of Barbadillo's newer wines, this is a lovely Palo Cortado, selected from the younger criaderas of La Sacristia solera and bottled en rama. The sherry has an average age of around 10 years at bottling. The aroma is intense, brazil nuts, old leather furniture, orange zest and coffee. It tastes dry and intensely nutty, with weight and concentrated flavours. Walnut, hazelnut, cinnamon, a touch of salinity. A wonderfully gastronomic wine. Wine society sherry week tasting.

The next chapter in my Sherry exploration, a Palo Cortado en Rama. Medium amber colour. Hazelnut, apple, orange peel, coffee and hints of caramel. Dry, saline finish. I really liked this, my favourite so far.

В аромате яблочное повидло, курага, апельсиновая цедра, табак, йод, дубленая кожа, морская галька, соленая карамель, ваниль, лекарственные травы, галеты. Окисленное зеленое яблоко, абрикос, фундук, тоффи, инжир, шелуха грецкого ореха, корица, ромашка, морковь, сушеный лимон, комбу, соль. Среднее тело, хорошая кислотность. Очень хорошо.

90/100 отличный спект сухофруктов, дерева моченого, гудрона, табака трубочного. Гвоздика. Высокая кислотность, долгий финиш.

Muy bueno este PC, intenso y con ese toque de la biológica que tanto me gusta. Maravilla de vinos.

My last sherry style, and I really like it. Notes of orange peel, espresso and salty toasted nuts. Very nice.

Bodegas Barbadillo en Sanlúcar de Barrameda. 🍇 palomino, palo cortado de unos 10 años de edad media procedente de una selección de botas de críanza oxidativa ubicadas en las Sacristías del Barrio alto. Sistema de criaderas y soleras. 👀 ambar limpio y brillante. Reflejos verdosos. 👃 intensidad media, frutos secos, balsámicos, acetaldehido y barnices. 👄 redondo, notas a frutos secos, alcohol bien integrado, acidez viva. Quizás un poco falto de intensidad, sobre todo en nariz, aunque en boca resulta agradable.

NV - Palo Cortado from 90yo Solera. Citrus zest, caramel, toffee. Nutty and smoky notes dominate the palate. Good balance. 87/100

Pour moi c'est dégueulasse même au nez. Pas sucré au sens moelleux, c'est sucré genre orangé boisé caramel qui a cramé. Lèche du cuivre c'est pareil. 4.1 la note moyenne ? Sans déconner!!!
