Cousiño-Macul Chardonnay

Nice on the nose with a "balanced" passion fruit! Surprising somehow to have some of the great characteristics of the most popular chardonnays, namely oaky vanilla, though not to the extent of buttery and complex, despite that I guess the lees has been stirred to some extent. This means this wine is tropical and balanced but is made to incline to the buttery and complex style. Body is still light though. My girl matched it well with a squid ink risotto, guess it could go with creamy rich chicken
