Complex, thick, yet lively red wine and dried fruit pulp is rich, vibrant notes of ripe elegant tannins. 👍

Full bodied cuveé, rich complexity but uncommunicative style.

Cool, tastie, with a bit harsh tannin, medium finish. Sour cherry, but even with a bit strawberry, which makes it interesting.

In Hungary you can grow wine everywhere, French royals wrote centuries ago. Geographical very interesting diverse soil and a great climate. Just a little catch up after sone bad regimes and world wars. A real new old world. This is an amazing great and also different wine. fruity.

A Bordeaux style cuvee from Szekszard, with some Blaufrankisch added to the blend. Deep in colour, still more ruby, than garnet. Aged 18 months in new oak, tannins are now well integrated, some tobacco, leather, mushroom and some herbaceous notes with pronounced raspberry notes. Full body, medium [+] finish, another very nice bottle from Takler.

My first Hungarian red. A well done blend of 2 local grapes and the 3 traditional Bordeaux grapes. A nice choice to start the trip in Budapest!

I loge Bartina and it supposed to be the great vintage. I did not get it. It was soft and not matured and body was low for this wine.

An excellent, complex blend from Szekszárd. Ripe fruitiness of dark berries, chocolate and a hint of leather. Smooth tannin structure, quite a length.
