Great tasting today with Kreuzberg. 2015 is just outstanding from entry level and all the way to the GGs. This was my favourite of the day but it is a close race with the other GGs. It is super elegant yet powerfull with cherries and white pepper. It needs time but already pleasing. 94p I have no clue how this ended up at 2.8 here in Vivino.

DFB aroma with earthy notes. Rather plain palate with black pepper and coaly finish. Acid, mild tannins&light body.

Dernauer Hardtberg Frühburgunder 2012 GG: Tolles Bouquet für die Nase, das sich am Gaumen fortsetzt. Kirsche, Walderdbeere, milde Tannine. Dezente Säure - auch aufgrund der malolaktischen Gärung - und vermutlich auch aufgrund des Alters nur dezentes Holz. Ein perfekt abgestimmter Abgang, nicht aufdringlich und nicht zu kurz.

Super Frühburgunder, wird man auf dem Niveau selten finden. 4.4 von 5 Sternen.

Wat een beest! Verkozen tot de beste Frühburgunder jaargang 2019 van Duitsland. Totdat de Katastrophe kwam…. Vandaag op locatie @Kreuzberg gedronken: ingehouden kracht met subtiele tannines en zacht rollend in de mond. Komt na minuut of tien goed los in ‘t glas, zachtheid domineert, maar ook het fruit geeft zich goed prijs. Kan nog jaren mee, gelukkig nog ‘13 en ‘15 in de kelder liggen. En nu dus aangevuld met ‘19.

Ideally aged grand cru Pinot Noir Précoce. Great combination of (diminishing) fruity freshness and (emerging) aging / balsamic notes. Elegant and delicate, with beautiful acidity and finest integrated tannins. Not showy, but rather introverted and meditative. Hint of barnyard, earthy notes. Ripe red fruit more cranberry than cherry, but also some plum and mint / cool green herbs.

Zacht, gebalanceerd en vrij lang met een bittertje in de finale. Snuffelend genieten. Apr24: perfect op dronk, nog harmonieuzer en zeer lang van afdronk.

Frühburgunder 2020 Relative dunkle spätburgunder Farbe (leicht trüb). In der Nase reduziertes Holz feine Mineralität und kaum Frucht. Auf dem Gaumen feine Kräuterpotpourri, feine milde Beeren mit frischer Mineralität. Ein elegantes feines und kompakteres Säurespiel. Im Abgang lang und viel Kräuter.

Musste ihn erstmal 12h offen stehen lassen, da ich mir anfangs nicht sicher war ob hier ein Schleichkork vorliegt. Es hat sich zum Glück nicht bestätigt, es war nur die extrem rauchige Schiefernoten. Hinter dem rauchig kühlen Bouquet finden sich Erdbeeren, Röstzwiebeln und Thymian. Im Glas mit ordentlich Grip, straffer Säure, schon vollerem Körper, Erdbeer, Kirsche, geräucherter Speck, und ein kühl, würziger Abgang. 93P (geretteter Flutwein)

Keeping the 🇩🇪 🔠 Saturday streak alive with a GG 🎏rühburgunder 🍇 (Pinot Noir Précoce) single-vineyard from Dernau in my beloved Ahr Valley. Nose of black cherry, tobacco, licorice, campfire smoke, bay leaves with pungent volcanic minerality underlying. Palate has precise acidity, very tart with cherry herbal and plummy core. Finish lingers with kumquat, rosemary stalks, pine sap. This PNP is bumping and makes me not so sad to fly home soon. Frühburgunder can really be so delicious! €40

Wauw, what a beautiful Spätburgunder from the Ahrtal. With its typical lightred colour and a nose which betrays its origin. I recommend to decant it. Spicy, strawberries, blanc cherish, oak, clove. Long and elegant finish. Enjoy now or in the next two year. Cheers!

This rare grape, which is a mutation of the Spätburgunder de frühburgunder or the Pinot Madeline, is really an experience to taste. In the great Ahr valley where it is made, only 40 hectares are planted with the Frühburgunder. Even less of that in the very highest class, the Grosses Gewächs GG. This wine is great and has a beautiful scent of salmiak, roses, vanilla, leather, blackberry and cherry. Nice long finish with fine acidity and tasted like cherry, blackberry with some white pepper.

This is exactly what I expect when I drink a german Spätburgunder from Ahr region. Complex flavours of red berries with mineralic hints and some tabacco touch. Present flavours but not too heavy and well balanced on the palate and a delightfull finish. The 2016 version still can be kept in the cellar for some years but also is already great to enjoy now.

New bottle- a bit closed and unfortunately we don't have enough time to wait for it to open up. Muted red berries, earth, a lot of slate and acidity.

First time drinking a Fruhburgunder. From a magnum bottle. Extremely herbal with dark cherry undertone. Easy going when served cold. 13% abv! So gluggable.

This is the more serious of the '15 GG wines. It's more stuctured and layered and probably needs some food for the moment. It's all relative though - it's still wonderfully drinkable. Yum.

Tasting at Weingut H.J. Kreuzberg in Ahr. New bottle, now half bottle. Fresh as a daisy. From barrel. This is fantastic. Big barrels, cold soak, punching of the cap to extract. Also very fruity, tannic structure carries it to a long finish.

📌Pinot Noir Précoce, 18 m oak (50% new barrique) 👁med ruby 👃med (+) notes of forest berries, ripe and juicy, underlined by well-balanced oak notes of vanilla, toast, cedar, cloves. 👅Dry with a balancing, elegant med acidity. Flavors of the oak impact become stronger but still well integrated. The med (+) tannins are almost ripe and gives a powerful backbone. Med (+) body and quite a long finish. ⭐️Great wine with a great future. Should not be drunk too soon. (91 P)

толковый шпет, идеально зашёл под котлетки из лося 😍 классический немецкий букет из рассольного укропа и сахарной клюквы с подлеском, шоколадом и кожей классный лайковый вкус брусничного джема с теми же минеральными вкраплениями рассола с укропом готовое вино, пить сейчас знатоки пишут, что бутылки попадаются разные, но по мне стиль такой, что плюс-минус всё должно быть на одной волне, только если хранение не убило 13 % ps теперь это оказывается отдельный рег стиль ) открыл ✅

There are not too many GG Frühburgunders anymore. Kreuzberg is one of the only still to make them. Complex bouquet of dark fruit, stable and vegetal tones, coffee with salinity seeping through. Creamy palate, dark fruit, wet earth, bitter herbs on a spicy backbone. Good balance overall, one of the best Frühburgunders around!

Das Weingut Kreuzberg ist einen Besuch wert. Fachkundig werden die Weine in lockerer Atmosphäre präsentiert. Der Mitarbeiter ist echt ein Original. Tolle Weine und nicht so affektiert wie es einem an der Ahr schon mal passieren kann.

Überreife Aromatik von Trockenfrüchten. Wie man das 2017 hinbekommen hat ist mir ein Rätsel. Blind hätte ich das nicht mal an die Ahr und nur mit viel Glück dem Pinot zugeordnet. Unheimlich intensiv am Gaumen. 3.8+ // 4/7

2014年。47.9ユーロ。GG,価格から入るが早熟ピノノワールと言う名前に対して価格はどうよ？高すぎる‼︎ニューワールドだと半値が、精一杯。ただ、結論からするとバランスは抜群に良く非常に良いワイン。残念ながら深みやエレガントな雰囲気はないピノノワール。色調はレンガ色のルビー色。香りは典型的なピノノワール。フローラルな香りと少しセロリとメイプルシロップ。酸味控え目タンニン多目。この辺りはカリフォルニアワインのハイエンドに近いかも？

Light Pinot noir. Got that cool climate feel and taste to it. Delicate in nose and taste. The aftertaste has something sharp going on which I don't really like, but it is not much and will maybe disappear with more time
