Een voorrecht om te mogen drinken, 10 jaar oud. Robijnrood, eiken, braam, smaakt ook ouder, heeft inmiddels ook iets van amarenekers, maar dan à la Rhône. Dus strak, bescheiden, droog. Top!!!

Magnifique cornas . Joli vin avec des parfums cuirs,bouche à la fois tanins et fruits rouges.belle longueur . Je l ai apprécié.

Fruity, mild tannins, off dry

My favourite wine of the evening. Los of smooth silky black fruit. Yum

Robe intense. Nez complexe avec une dominante de fruits noirs et rouges tantôt myrtilles, cassis tantôt framboises. Belle longueur. Tannins peu agressifs Le retour est très long mêlant réglisse, chocolat noir et mûre.

Today, I'm having a traditional roast Leg of Lamb with all the trimmings, and I'm pairing it with this fabulous Cornas 2018 This Rhone wine made from 100% Syrah is impeccably smooth with punchy notes of blackberry, black cherry, and Black plum with tones of cedar, smoke, and leather. A perfect pairing for roast lamb with its balance of delicate spiced notes and more robust fruit notes.

Complex black fruit, plenty of blackberry, slight herby chewyness, deep plum in colour, highly recommend. Worked wonders with a Sunday Rost.

Fantastic! Smoke, bacon fat, herbs, earthy, cherry, plum. Absolutely amazing, long lasting taste repeats the aromas with hints of eucalyptus.

Blackcurrant, blackberry, certainly some oak in the background. Full bodied, bold dark syrah, plenty of tannin. My first Cornas - won’t be my last!

4.2 with a bonus for value. I’m starting to think Northern Rhône Syrah might be my fave style. Deep purple with dark plum and blackberry fruit, ample garden herbs and earthy character.

Dinnet at Sensum. The second wine with the sirloin steak, can you believe they serve this gem by the glass? Right in it’s drinking window yet can last for some more years. Opening matured & ripe with brambles, cherries, plum, cassis liquor, bunch of Garrigue like herbs, peppery notes, leather, spot of forest floor and nicely integrated cedar. The palate is very juicy with mouthwatering red cherry acids built around a nice black & red fruit core while ending lingering with cherries & sweet spices

Absolutely delicious! Although young, beautifully mellowed-out tannins and very fruit forward! Great value from a great producer

Bold, earthy flavours of blackcurrant, plum and cherry. The hints of spice followed by a vanilla finish gives this wine a wonderful complexity and taste. Fantastic.

First sampling of JBA’s Cornas and boy does he know Syrah! Refined nose of blackberry, licorice and cedar. Smoky and pepper taste that’s much more subtle than most - positively dances on the tongue.

93 pts, Lots of dark fruit, chocolate, coffee, mint, licorice and herbs. So well balanced at the moment. Powerful but still very elegant. Drink now or keep for 5 years. Enjoy!

Sur le millésime 2017, les grandes terrasses s'avère déjà élégant, avec une belle longueur en bouche. Le poivre et les épices très présents en première bouche s'effacent lentement pour laisser la place à une longue finale réglissée. Toutefois, les tannins restent encore trop fermes et astringents. Mais il promet un grand plaisir dans 5 ans.

@Vita in Vinum, I agree ☝️ Silky, medium body, a hint of violets, mint, cedar and leather, fruity flavours of blackberries and cassis, dried herbs 🌿 and slightly spicy notes, good integrated medium acidity, fine green tannins, a touch of licorice, blackberries, black tea ☕️ and dark chocolate 🍫 on long finish.

Fruit forward (in a good way), some carbonic maceration tones, lots of red flowers and ripe red fruits with a touch of liquorice. Fine tannins and pretty nice to drink.

My second 2015 bottle has variation. This is a better version of Cornas. Firm core with beautiful acidity and tannins balanced with rich savory fruits. 92

Had at a wine tasting. Elegant, medium bodied, savoury and tomato notes on finish. Seemed a bit early to drink and would improve in a few years.

Following on from my last experience I wanted to see if it was a a one off! But no…..this is great! Incredible nose of pepper, oil, leather and vanilla! Really smooth mouthfeel with some light grip and big heat! A top producer and a really beautifully constructed wine! This is 4 stars, nearly gave it 4.25 as I was listening to Weld by Neil Young and Crazy Horse but technically not relevant! But Hey Hey My My I like this!! 4 stars!

Nice dates, dark plums and slightly oxidative nose. Juicy dark plum and sweet cloves in the mouth. Approachable.

And also this one offers a subtle seductive nose; interesting blend of popcorn, vanilla, ripe dark fruits, a plummy tone, but also forest floor. Med acidity, med+ fine grainy tannins. Fresh albeit some development, a greenish touch, which reveals cool climate. Mild spicy, balanced in line with the nose. Makes me think of German Spätburgunder. 3 yrs old. Very good. 15 pts

Red fruit on the nose which seems quite astringent. The dominant flavour is red cherry but there’s also some darker fruit, vanilla and earthy notes.

Needs more time in the bottle. The nose is very powerful and developed with predominantly red fruits, but on the palate it had lots of acidity

Leather, dark berries, down to earth typical wine for the region. A fine balance between mild tannins and long lasting taste. Recommended!

A bargain from Cornas. Blackberry, vanilla, pepper. Leather. Rubber. Northern Rhône Syrah. Some more time wouldn't hurt but in g good window and the 2010 fits me well.

A powerful and dense Syrah. Aromas and flavours of red and black fruits, warm spices and a touch of liquorice. Beautifully textured, with firm and ripe tannins.

Minimal nose, tho was poured into glass 3-4 hours before. Powerful but elegant wine. Red and black fruit, stony minerality. Med plus acid. Grippy but smooth tannins, long finish.

Very nice Cornas, mature and at peak. Intense fruit with herbal notes. On the palate, settled and balanced with sous-bois, light wildlife notes and peppery finish. Very nice wine and a good price.

Young, lean and peppery! Med+ intensity on the nose with blackberry, pepper, plum and toast aromas. Dry, high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol (14.5%), full body and med+ finish. A decent Cornas.

Dark purple, full bodied Syrah. Dark blackcurrant, spice, leather and cigar. Very drinkable and paired well with Chourico and Cornish Gouda. Relatable producer and good value for the region

Medium purple colour. Blackberry and hints of licorice on the nose. In the mouth, dark fruit, vanilla notes and still with zingy acidity. Very enjoyable with ribeye steak.

ポール・ジャブレ・エネ コルナス・レ・グラン・テラッセ 1996 香りには強い熟成感があり、十分魅力的。 ベリーやプラムなどの果実味も生きており全体にエレガント。シラーらしいスパイシーさやハーバルなニュアンスがあり、淡くレザーやタバコのニュアンスもある。タンニンは経年変化でこなれている。 コスパが非常に良かった。

自宅にて開栓。 3.6ポイント。 1996ヴィンテージ。 煙草の葉、レザー、プラムやソルダムのような果実味、酸味はまだ生き生きとしているが少し酸が立つ。 スパイシーで少しインクっぽいシラーの香り。 少し熟成が進みすぎている感はあるが、果実味もあるGoodな北ローヌの熟成シラー。 ポール・ジャヴレ・エネのこの辺りのヴィンテージはいくつか飲む機会に恵まれたが、コロナスのドメーヌ・ド・サンピエールみたいな感じかな？と思ったら結構違う。 それはヴィンテージが1997と1998だったのもあるのだろうか？ 価格も熟成しているのに高くはなかったが、シラーならシャーヴ・セレクションのサン・ジョセフの2013などの方がバランスはいいと思った。 ※１８３４年、アントワーヌ・ジャブレ氏がこの地でワイン事業を興したことに始まるポール・ジャブレ・エネ。 アントワーヌ氏の子息を含む６世代がその家業を守り継ぎ、２００６年にシャンパーニュのワイン実業家であるフレイ家の手に渡った。 以来、メドック格付け３級『シャトー・ラ・ラギューヌ』の醸造責任者も務める 長女のカロリーヌ・フレイ氏がこの銘醸蔵の指揮を執っている
