高いだけあるね。デキャンタしてなくても香りがすごい。もちろんデキャンティングしたら香りが部屋中に広がってるんじゃないかと思うくらい。 フィレと一緒に頂くが、味に負けない深い味わいと香り。めちゃくちゃうまい。 贈り物として購入するも、相手方が一緒に飲もうと言う事で頂く。

I’ve had a few cabs recently, all pretty good, but this Ernie Els cab stood out for all the right reasons. Worthy of its major series name - definitely reminded me of a certain major currently underway THE MASTERS.

5. Lovely stealthy wine that screams for a steak and blue cheese. Nice tannins, long finish. Bold cherry, vanilla and warming spice. Get in! 👊🍷😎

Gift that arrived from SA last week...it required some decanting, but opened up beautifully. This is also the year we matriculated, adding some sentiment to the occasion. Spectacular in every other aspect, aged very well, probably in it's prime now (the cork disintegrated a bit when opened) and the flavours are heavy, but very well balanced. What a beautiful blend!! Shiraz and Bordeaux blend mix!! Great Proprietor’s blend from Ernie Els Wines. Deep dark ruby red in colour, what a nose!! Filled with blackberries, cassis, pepper spice and hints of dark chocolate, great body, nice tannins, black fruit filled palate, lingering savory quite dry savory finish

One of their first vintages. Broody , warm but ultimately a super wine. Great attention to detail.

Excellent Bordeaux blend with lots of complexity. Notes of red and black fruit, leather, and black pepper. Elegant, smooth tannins without being too strong in alcohol.

This is an awesome blend . I visited the property in stellenbosch myself and family in 2012. I bought the signatute after a fine wine tasting. Eventhough it blends several grapes such as carbernet sauvignon, merlot, malbec, cabernet franc, petit verdot et all, which I kinda felt a little bit prejudice about that, I have to admit that the result is translated into a very impressive color and an awsome smell and taste. I recommend it very much so.

Bit pricy but super elegant, nicely complex wine. Tasted during Flagship tasting at the winery, adding to the experience.

Cigar box, tobacco, peppered spices. Would love to have again with a peppercorn-crusted ribeye.

This was really big and bold. (2017). Definitely most drinkable… but will age longer for sure. Still great nose and fruity palate

Leathery notes and cedar on the notes. Tastes of perfect ripeness at harvest time. Good tannins with lengthy finish. Not green and leafy. Cassis and blackcurrant with sweet tobacco. 17 months French oak

Lovely rhone blend full bodied black fruit wine with smooth tannins and delicate oak, leather and tobacco flavours. Best of the ranges in my opinion.

南アフリカのアーニー　エルス メジャーシリーズ　カベルネソーヴィニヨン 2018年 メジャーシリーズを4回制覇し、未だ56歳で現役のゴルフ好きなら誰もが知っている（すみません、自分は名前は聞いたことありますが主にワインで知りました）が地元の南アフリカで作るワイナリーの赤の上級キュベ 熟したブラックベリーやプラムの果実味に上品な樽感 最初は濃密ぽいけれど同時に爽やかな冷涼地域カベルネらしいミント香も♪ 香りの印象通りにまずは凝縮感ある果実の旨味 ただ酸味もきちんとありバランス良いですし、18年の程良い熟成もあり滑らかさのある飲み心地でフルボディ寄りながらエレガントで好み^_^ 定価4.5千円の南アフリカのワインなら間違いないのを→1800円くらいで誰も入札なかったので楽々に落札♪ ちなみに作り手の名言で 「ワイン作りはゴルフに似ている。 どちらも最後は天候が支配するからだ」の言葉はその通りだと思いますし、ゴルフで真の一流プレイヤーの彼が言うからより深みがある言葉かと。 自分で作った、黒毛和牛切り落としに豆苗を使ったすき焼きに合わせるとお肉の旨味やすき焼きの甘タレにカベル

The 2016 is lekker lekker like a fire cracker. Very smooth, good tannins and long finish. Black fruits...

Plum, forest floor and cherry on the nose and dark chocolate on the palate. Interesting wine, although with a hint of sweetness.

【2010シグネチャー/アーニー・エルス・ワインズ】 〜六覺燈(ろくかくてい)銀座店にて 〜 濃いダークチェリー色。黒系ベリーや牡丹に胡椒や土の香りも。ボルドー品種を使用し重厚ででエレガントなワインに仕上がっている。プロ・ゴルファーのアーニー・エルスが世界トップクラスのワインを造ることを目標に、南アフリカ、西ケープ、ステレンボッシュに立ち上げたワイナリー。

膨らませる前は尖ってるけど、膨らみやすくグッと味が良くなる

紫、黒の果実の香りと、茎の植物的な強い香り。2つ前に飲んだメルロのシダ的な感じではなく、筋、硬さがある植物的香り。 アタックの果実味や酸はあるが、すぐに香りから感じるような存在感のあるタンニンに移行していく。厳格な感じ。

2022 果実味、残糖 ピラジン感じず

Angenehme Säure, ein wenig Milchschokolade an leichter Kirsche. Was jedoch viel mehr zählt - mitgebracht aus Süd Afrika mit persönlicher Geschichte sowie gemeinsam getrunken bei zartem Lamm, hummus sowie gelungener Sauce.

One of my favourite can sauvs in this price range. Very easy drinking which you don’t see in a cab very often. Red fruit such as cherry, red currant and a milk chocolate finish. Tobacco and dark spice nose.

Light red fruits to enter. Darker herbaceousness to folllow. 40% cinsault. Grippy tannins to end off

ベリーとぶどうの香り。甘みの少ない味。芳醇とは思わなかった。全体的にいろいろ控えめ。タンニンも少なめ。飲みやすいといえば飲みやすい。あと数年寝かせても良いかも。値段相応なのかな？値段で言うとBig easy の方が良いと思う。 219ランド。

全体として控えめな印象。

美味しいのだが、後5年寝かすべき。角があり、タンニン少し感じる。でも10年以上寝かすべきではなさそう。ブレンド。 Mr, T 家にていただく。

ブラックカラント、ブラックチェリー、プラム、樽香としてバニラやスモーク。フルボディ一歩手前くらいのイメージ。少しタンニンが雑な印象はあるけど、わかりやすいカベルネ赤。デイリーワインとしては十分美味しいけど、凡庸。

ミルコートで買った南アフリカのカベルネソーヴィニョン。若い感じがするが酸味も程々で悪くない。炭酸を感じる飲み口だが、ベストは開栓直後かな？

外観はダークルビー 第一ノートは鼻に抜ける清涼感とブラックベリー・クランベリージャム・無花果・ダークチェリー・鰹節感・ 口に含むと苦味、今日そういう口なのか？タンニンの重さ暗さが僅かに踏んで果実感はややタイトで赤いフレッシュな果実 タンニンの力が薄く口中を纏ってフレーバーが華やかにダークチェリーが香る ☆3
