CS from Tuscany, 18 months in the barrels. # red fruit, cherry, red plum, leather, tobacco and licorice notes on the palate. # medium+ palate with medium acidity and leathery finish. # Great Super Tuscan, CS as it supposed to be, bold and powerful with heavy tannins. Great wine with high aging potential. Recommended.

Leave for at least 30 minutes. It started with a oaky cedar turning to a chocolate berry. After opening, it blended much nicer. However it still has a bright dry front of tart dark cherry, falling to a softer berry pallet adding a light touch of earth, herbs, cinnamon and chef’s mushroom.

93/100. Garnet Red. I love when the Italians do Cabernet Sauvignon. Wonderful nose of cassis, cedar earth, tobacco leaf, leather, black fruit like black cherry, oak and spice. 2017. Colore rosso rubino con tendenza granata, brillante. Profumo intenso di peperoni arrostiti, mirtilli, grafite, pelle, chiodo di garofano. In bocca è pieno, dal tannino levigatissimo e ottima acidità. Finale lunghissimo.

Angenäm doft, svartvinbär med röda körsbär, rejäl kropp med rejäla tanniner. Bör lagras. Härlig bordeauxversion Chianti style.

チェリーやカシスの香り。果実の香りが豊かです。感じられる甘味からサンジョベーゼも少し入っているのかなと思っていたら、なんとカベルネソーヴィニヨン100%とのこと。ブドウの育った環境と作り手でこんなにも味が変わるとは、ワインはやっぱり奥深いなあと感じた1本でした。

Was a 2011. Tannins still tight. Black berry, cherry and tomato leafs. Can age for several more years.

A mono cepage CS from sunny Tuscany... And it is pretty good. (In my head I was thinking about the famous Mas La Plana CS). Developed and fruity, yet full of life. Cassis, graphite and vanilla, nicely integrated. Med+ acids, med tannic. Structured, dry, good savory tones, yum. Great combi with deer. Excellent. 17 pts @ wijnhandel Francoise.

Quite enjoyed this 100% Cab from a producer a dig, aged 18 months in oak & just hitting it’s drinking window now. Strikes that balance between big dark fruit & earthy leather, tobacco, new oak, forest floor. 3.9 or higher

Dry with medium acid and medium to low tannins. Very juicy with black fruit and black cherry. Some allspice and clove. Very drinkable!

Has evolved inte a really good wine with generous vomplex nose, lacks a little bit length in the taste. Well worth the money.

Well... Real 4. Decanted : 2 hours. Beginning: as usually: red, black currant, plums. The fruits are already rounded. Tannins: perfect. Chocolates with pepper. I am still tasting:))

4.2. What a fine Tuscan Cab and a great value at $20!! Certainly worth $30-40 in my book. Blackberry, sweet tobacco, leather, with light tartness. This one is in a perfect place right now in late 2021. Get it!

A very solid Italian Cab. Smooth, and yet not lacking in complexity. Robust, but very approachable. Worth whatever heartache you have to go through to get it. Come to think of it, I think we met last time I was in Milan!

Lots and lots of residue so u need to be careful poring. Well balanced, earthy some roughness on the pallet but a good depth. Don't think you would gain anything by keeping it longer, i.e. Drink now with a nice risotto or a beef and salad.

Pronounced nose of jammy black currant and overripe cherry. Green olive and Fresh timian and sweet abricot/orange marmelade. Raisin and prune notes. Vanilla and sweet tobacco. Palate: dry with a sweetness to it. High acidity and well rounded tannin. Full body. Flavours of a variety of dark berries. A cola-like note, And notes from the oak. Long finish. Great balance all the way through. This is really good cab. And most importantly, speaks of its terroir.

Good Toscana but nothing I would go out of my way to look for. Still bit sharp on the nose and mid finish. Needs time. But overall attempt was made to do big wine I think and I think it under delivers

Medium ruby in color with a developing medium plus intensity nose. Tobacco, graphite, red plum, black cherry, red cherry, cedar, leather. Dry, high acidity, high tannins, full bodied, high alcohol and medium plus intensity on the body. Plum, prune, fig, leather, cedar, spice, baking spice, oak, black currant, pencil shavings. Outstanding quality of wine. Can drink now, suitable for further aging. 4.1 stars.

My first Italian Cab ( I think). Certainly different than American ones. The fruits run towards black and rich rather the bright red fruits from Cali. Cassis, dirt and leather on the nose. Body is rich and beautiful, perfect firm tannins. Some dark red fruit and blueberries on the initial flavor but for me it’s dominated by a chocolate finish that I’m loving. Only missing a tiny bit of acidity. Great wine

Ran into a Tuscan Cabernet Sauvignon from 2000. Ripe, raisins, sweet cherries, black currant, stable, tobacco/cigar and leather on the nose. Quite dry tannins but the high acidity provided support to the whole experience. Long elegant finish. Despite its age I found the wine quite vital. As summary; almost over-ripe on the nose but still playful on the palate.

Dark garnet color fading to a clear edge with medium high viscosity. Tears just clung to the glass like a sweater. Aromas of dried cherries, damp hay (which leaves quickly), blackberries. Taste carries the same and adds vanilla and muted spice. Dry with medium high acidity and tannins. Medium full body with a long medium soft finish just delicious. So adding this to the cellar. Paired nicely with a halibut and was balanced by the parsnip purée.

Unlike ultra ripe and modern Merlot, this Cabernet is elegant and restrained. High altitude vineyard makes its influence. Cassis, blackberry, dark chocolate, cigar and spices. Almost full bodied, good acidity, the tannins will be good in few years, sophisticated wine.

4,3 stars. Still very nice after 15 years. Tasted right after opening, it was tastefull, no tannins and elegant. 4 hours later it grew to a full modied wine. Dark berries, oak and green herbs like thyme, rosemary and sage. Nice tannins to finish. Everything in a great balance.

イタリアはプッリア州、ロッカ・デイ・モリのサレント・ビアンコ エレーナをグラスで。グリッロ40%、ガルガネーガ30%、シャルドネ30%と聞きなれない葡萄がメイン。 色味は琥珀がかった綺麗なイエロー、麦わらに近い深く良い色。香りはハチミツ、トロピカルな桃から始まり、オレンジの柑橘系、赤ワインのような樽香と多層で親しみやすい香り。飲み口も酸味が抑えられた、辛口とあるもののフルーティな味わい。 さすがは南イタリアと思わせる、複雑さを持ちながらもおおらかでフレンドリーなワイン。大変美味しく頂きました。 ふっと気がつきましたが、過去にこのロッカ・デイ・モリというワイナリーの赤ワインを頂いており、そちらも複雑さとフルーティさを併せ持った美味しいワイン。このワイナリーの方向性、好きかも。

Pale〜medium程度のamber colorが目を惹きますが、香りも好み。一瞬ミントのような爽やかさから入って、リンゴ、ハチミツ。上手く言えないけどブランデーのような香りも纏う。ジンジャーと蜜の余韻が残る。手頃なお値段ですが、複雑な要素があって僕はこれ結構好きかも。リピートしたい。

イタリアはトスカーナのロッカ・ディ・カスタニョーリのブリアーノ2011。カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン100%の、小細工なし直球ど真ん中コース。 色味は濃いルビー、香りは、抜栓直後は初めはジャミーなカシスだったが、次第にカカオや革香が覆いかぶさってくる。粘性が高く、スワリングするとグラスに薄くワインが張り付く。 飲み口は果実味たっぷり、負けじとこなれたタンニンしっかり、最後に軽い酸味で締める良いバランス。カベソー100%なので一歩間違うとギンギンになりかねないが、うまくパワフル感をまとめている。 牛肉ステーキ、とかトマホークステーキ、とか、やはりパワフルなものと合わせると妙なテンションが出ること請け合い。

イタリア、サレントの白。シャルドネ。 色: 白感さわやかレモンイエロー。 香り: バニラ、グレフル黄、レモン、パイナップル、ほんのりの甘さにたっぷりの苦味とミネラル感。樽感もそこそこ効いてる。 味わい: グレフル黄系の爽やかな苦味の果実感とバニラ感が颯爽と口の中を駆け抜けていく感じが印象的。バター系の香ばしさが広がった後にインパクトを残す石砂感やミネラル感がさわやか。こってりめの果実感も長く舌に残り、リッチな余韻を与えてくれてます。このこってり感と苦味は好きだなぁ。お手頃価格ながらいいワインかも。

ジェレナビアンコ2019 グリッロ、ビアンコ・ダレッサーノ、シャルドネ 色は濃い目のイエロー、やや緑がかっている。酸味が気持ちよく飲めるスッキリした白ワインながら、甘味と樽香が感じられて、ワインらしさを強く感じる。

サーロインステーキに合わせるワインが欲しくて購入。 カシス、コショウ、なんとなく樹皮の匂い。 ローストビーフよりは焦げ目のついた肉に合う。

ブリアーノ 2011年　ロッカ・ディ・カスタニョーリ　 ナオタカのワインくじ3等 通常価格は、9,680円 イタリアのトスカーナ州 美味い！しっかりとしたボディで、コクもある。最初にちょっと古酒香かと思ったがすぐに消えた。トスカーナなので、サンジョベーゼかと思ったら、カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンだった。確かにサンジョベーゼではない風味。

同じカベルネ100%なのに、アメリカやフランス、南米とは全く異なり、ザ・イタリアワイン。トスカーナというよりも、プーリアのプリミティーボ等を感じさせるアロマ。

2011年ヴィンテージを2024年に開栓。カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンらしくしっかり。あまり重くはなく、食べ物に合わせたほうが良い。ビジエのテリーヌよりはボロネーゼパスタ。イタリアワインらしい。
