Decisamente un gran vino, profumi intensi con note di cacao, cuoio, frutta secca, ha un gran corpo ma allo stesso tempo non spigoloso, una persistenza lunga ma delicata

Annata 2015. Sentori di bacca di vaniglia, caffè, cioccolato, legno, vegetale, liquirizia, ciliegia surmatura, viola. In bocca un equilibrio buonissimo, tannini perfetti, acidità viva, buona sapidità. Eccezionale.

Hier kun je niet tegen opboksen. Celestino heeft iets voor elkaar gekregen wat uniek is in de wereld. Een blend van minstens 15 druivenrassen en wauw; dat proef je! Ik ga geen proefnotitie schrijven, puur omdat je dit zelf moet ervaren. Bij voorkeur de 2015 of 2016. Komt dat zien!

I have 2008 and don't want to pop as it know it would need time and would only happen in special occasion. 2009 was an absolute beauty; mocha, white pepper, violet, and cedar. Oh la la … Annata 2009. Ogni volta è un piccolo privilegio. Complessità e chaos sublimano diventando leggiadria ed equilibrio. Massa e finezza. Persistenza fiabesca. Continui rimandi di frutta rossa e nera, marasca, lampone e mora. Pellame, canfora, tabacco dolce da pipa, cacao e sottobosco spiccano da una architrave sapido-minerale. Finale eterno. Got me a bit confused for a while with that high concentration of fruit and that “sweetish-ness”. My Wine Cup 2024 finals WOTN. This truly lives up to its namesake. It leaps out of the glass with big bold red fruit, plush and enveloping. But then it becomes restrained in the glass, evolving into something classy. It’s like watching Harlequin in the Joker movie. This was the wine I nursed on the side for a good part of the night. I agree with @[1|40151367|Brian L] that this drops offs faster than we would like. So not one of my greatest wines but certainly intriguing.

The flagship version of Kairos. Aged longer in new oak.

A huge step up from Kairos. Yay… it better should. Double decanted and then bottle breathed for 8 hrs before dinner. Still kinda tight at the beginning pour. Nose of mixed desiccated fruits, hint of chocolate. A vibrant acidity backbone which doesn’t normally get from other full appassimento wine. Impressively layers and complex.

Rosso rubino impenetrabile. Al naso ciliegia, frutti rossi. Al palato è avvolgente, si sentono le spezie, la cannella. Persistente ma comunque morbido dal tannino integrato.

Grapes: 15 mainly local grapes (4 are white!) 30 months in new barrique At nose is fantastic and intense: dark fruit, balsamic notes, redcurrant, honey, white chocolate, dark plum jam. In mouth is soft and rich, pleasant sapidity, silky texture, smooth tannins, great roundness, juicy and fruity, long persistency. Only in some years.... Price is very high!

More then a wine, this is a kind of elixir... About 15 different grapes come into this blend, with whites too. No need to tell you then that it reaches a mind blowing complexity. You can name virtually all the red fruits that you know, spicy, sweet as it shows some amarone similitude. Surprisingly the varietals are all macerated together, so it is not a blend of finished wines. With a certain link to Quintarelli, it's really something to try at least once, even if varietals and terroir are not

@Degustazione in cantina Seconda volta che assaggio questo assemblaggio di 15-16 vitigni. Un vino sicuramente unico nel suo genere, stilisticamente davvero completo: in questa etichetta si incontrano tannino intenso e morbidezza, frutto intenso e acidità, freschezza e complessità. L'unica pecca, assolutamente soggettiva, è che non mi emoziona fino in fondo, e a quel prezzo vorrei stupirmi a ogni sorso.

Sechs Jahre im Barrique. In der Nase super komplex, zt. aber zu Sauer, Spiritus, Citrus, Spülmittel liegen über feinen Beerenaromen. Zum Glück spiegelt sich das im Geschmack nicht wieder. Sehr komplex. Für mich nicht über das Vierfache von Kairos wert. Wegen dem zu hohen Preis 0,5 🌟 Abzug.
