Lovely texture, rich and minerals with fresh apples , some peach notes maybe…on a blind taste I might have confused it with a Chardonnay!

Winery Pajzos is named after the yard called Pajzos from Sarospatak in Tokaj Wine Region. Its life started in 1992 by 12 French investor, the current managing director - Laurent Comas - also from France, but settled long time in Hun. Complex, well-structured dry 100% Furmint from the best selected grape. Aromas of quince, chamomile, peach, pear, grapefruit with bright acidity with long and complex minerality. Floral of acacia great start and finish!

Rich golden hue, nose is honey, beeswax, lime pith, and vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium plus and oily. Palate is far more citrus with lime and sour green apple but also the same honey and wax notes as the nose. A blend of furmint and harslevelú grapes.

Heavy stone fruit with hints of oak, balanced citrus, pear and minerality

First wine I try from this area. And what a great surprise. It got impact. Acacia chamomile honey cream citrus and touch of tropical fruit. Complex aroma. Mouth fell is fresh with nice acidity and sweet notes like honey vanilla remaining very gently with in the palate. I don’t know much about this variety so I give high rating. Delicious.

4.0 I cannot deny, I am in love with this Furmint. Pale golden appearance, medium-plus body and elegant aromas (white flowers, green apple) on the nose. The sip delivers sophisticated flavours such as pear, quince, peach and stone. Medium acidity and joyful finish.

Hint of apple on the nose. Pear initially then ripe apple on the attack and slight fruity light oak on the finish.

Обещанное впечатление..ну..прекрасный аромат, обещающий....белое блаженство...но..увы..вкус не оправдал ожидания...Скоротечен, понятен, как и полагается лёгким белым винам в летнюю жару..освежает, ..но не более..намёк на бочку...но..От Токая я ждала бы большего...( в нашу сегодняшнюю жару-заходит лёгко..Кстати, горчица.. приятная..не мешает...

A new one for me, having only enjoyed sweet Hungarian wines before. This was a fun bottle, perfect while I prepared dinner for some mates coming over. Pear and citrus notes. Bright acidity.

I know it sounds underrated but it had some strange feelings on the nose. Some muddy herbal covered it which wasn’t pleasant. Otherwise nice minerals big body and quite light acids for Tokaj.

My first attempt of this wine style. Not sure what to say except strange smell and taste to me. Not a style i will try again. Golden color

Étrange et not my cup of tea. Un vin qui presente des arômes d’agrumes secs, de zist, de reine Claude, de paille, de coing et un petit peu d’amertume et de vanille. Le nez est étincelant et parfumé mais en bouche il tombe un peu court après avoir plateau. Clairement un manque de fraîcheur mais un bon exercice de style. Cheers!

Clear. Pale lemon. Nose: Lemon, butter, hazelnut, almond, yellow apple. And a little honey. Palate: Dry, medium acidity, alcohol & body. Grapefruit, lemon, lemonade, vanilla, peach. It's got an oiliness to it that I don't appreciate, but I know others would. I'll try it again with some fish.

Très déçu de ce vin. Goût de poire et de lime trop prononcé. Je ne le recommanderais pas à mon meilleur amis. Seul point positif son prix et même à cela, il y a bien mieux pour ce prix.
