Actually had the ***. Exceptionally good, great depth and complexity with typical notes of great mosel pinot: cherry, strawberry, gooseberry, slate, mushroom, tar (light), some remaining vanilla from the aging. Best expression of PN from Germany to date.

What better way to celebrate a return back to 🇩🇪 than a delicious Spätburgunder. Gorgeous nose of rich black cherry, rose petal, wood smoke and mushroom. Elegant, sweet attack of strawberry and raspberry with fully integrated tannins and a long warm finish of spiced fruit, tobacco leaf and balsamic. One of my absolute favourites and a real Burgundy-killer 😉. 4.3⭐️

Pulled & poured by @[1|586623|Doug] this PN was amazing! Intense in every aspect, incredible how Molitor pulls this off! Smokey dark quartz minerals on the nose, toasted malt, hints of dark cherry, blueberry & blackberry. Mid(+) body feel (14,5%), fresh softly crisp stemmy acidity with ripe stemmy tannins. High-quality top density palate with dark cherry, super austere cassis, used dark oak, pine & tar. Tastes like a love child from a trio between a Burgundy, Bordeaux & Barolo. 4,2⭐️+

Spätburgunder ***MM*** This is pretty good stuff. I visited MM in the past and I know they can make outstanding Pinot. The three stars on the label elevated expectations. The nose is expressing some cedar and pencil shavings, and the fruit is quite dark (I Like)… mulberry and blackberry. Dry. M+ bodied. M tannins. M+ acidity. The palate is also quite dark for a Pinot. No complaints. Some sweet spice. Violet. Neat. Happy Days.

漂亮的鲜艳石榴红。开瓶奶香，醒1小时后很好的檀木香气，混合着红色果香和紫罗兰花香。入口酸度和单宁在黑皮诺中偏高，粉状单宁，平衡感不错。收口略甜。集中度一般。余味不长。

Carnavinho. Quando estive no Mosel visitando Markus Molitor meu foco foram os Rieslings, mas a qualidade do seus PNs também impressiona. Ainda no lado jovem. Belo nariz, comframboesas e cerejas maduras, toques defumados, couro, especiarias doces e leve mineral. Corpo médio a médio(+), estruturado e elegante, taninos presentes e finos, bela acidez. Não aparenta os 14,5% de TA. Palato expressivo, com bastante fruta vermelha, cacau e especiarias doces. Finaliza com leve amargor e boa persistência.

Very impressive Pinot Noir from Mosel, extremelly aromatic, showing candied raspberries, red cherries, violets, cinnamon, and oak (toasted wood, vanilla). The palate has fresh acidity, light and airy tannins, decent concentration, and a very.persistent perfumed finish. It doesnt have a lot of volune, but is lesn, elegant and balanced. Great quality at this price range, and impressive for its readyness to drink. No aeration, no decanting.

Mövenpick wine tasting #14. Spatburgunder от немецкой звезды - Маркуса Молитора. От Паркера 94+. Сильный и насыщенный аромат: мясо, дым, черный перец, грибы, травы, ваниль, бекон. Фруктов ноль. На вкус сбалансированное и пряное, ваниль, леденцы и перец, немного кислоты и округлые танины. Вино понравилось, наверное, даже меньше, чем более дешевый Mimus, сказалась нехватка фруктов, для нас было очень непривычно. Но, без сомнения, вино сложное и интересное, более чем достойно внимания.

20200427 - Enchanting nose of dried flowers , fallen leaves and burnt soil .. would this be the ultimate sous bois ? .. nice complex layers of bouquet .. very elegant lightish mouthfeel with fresh acidity and fine tannins . I thought it was much like a very clean sharp Burgundy .. picked it as an Austrian Pinot fr after 2010 Really impressive .. opened my eyes .. there are certainly great wines outside the usual regions WMK's @ Zoom Session No4 : Non French or Italian Old World

Markus Molitor dinner. Nice Spätburgunder here. *** Again! This had a nice concentration to it, red cherry, raspberry, a bit of sweet spice, cedar. Had decent acid there with moderate tannins, went well with cubes of wagyu steak. Yum.

Red cherries, blueberries and lots of oaky notes in the nose. Fresh cherries, ripe raspberries, smoky oak, pomegranate and some wet stone. Medium (+) bodied with a fresh and medium (+) intense acidity. Tannins are a little green, but nicely integrated. Alcohol and oak are a little too dominant. Good structure and a great depth. Nice complexity. Feels a little unbalanced. Nice medium long to long finish. In a good spot, but let it breathe for 30 minutes. Drink from now until 2030.

Fruit rouge craquant au nez, très pinot. La bouche est à la fois concentrée et élégante avec un élevage de type bourguignon et une belle fraîcheur. Un vin qui, cependant, reste à mon goût relativement simple (et à ce prix...)

Medium ruby in colour. The nose is dominated by pronounced oak, showing vanilla, clove and toasted notes, with underlying red fruit of cherry and strawberry still quite restrained. Very young in expression. Dry on the palate with medium acidity, firm tannins and a medium body. The oak influence remains dominant, overshadowing the fruit, giving a tight and slightly unintegrated profile. The wine feels closed and structured, requiring time to soften and integrate. Medium finish. Currently unbalanc
