Still one of my favs!!! This wine has surpassed any wine I’ve ever had. Beautiful supple, smooth, full mouth feel. Well worth the price.
I can’t begin to describe how perfect this wine is. It’s soft and leather like in the mouth, juicy blackberries, light vanilla, oak and black plum.
Had the 09 and it is simply sublime!! Impecable and delicious. Red fruit balanced, long smooth tannins, medium acidity. Love it

really wonderful cab from ingelnook very reasonably priced. hints of oak, leather, and hints of fruit. not too jammy or loaded with mouthfeel, ripe berries, hints of chocolate and coffee with a little chalky feeling. really nice drink
Inky, deep ruby. Cherry, plum, blackberries, musk, stone, tobacco. Dry with moderate to high acidity, tight tannins, subtle warmth in the throat. Finishes with brighter fruit flavors thanks to the acidity and the tertiary notes play a support role.

Well structured with a solid core of dark fruit flavours with blackberries, plums, black cherry and hints of dark chocolate and vanilla.
This wine is very intense on the nose displaying aromas of cherries, black cherries, blackberries, notes of plums on the palate full bodied, round. Hints of graphite miners finissh
I knew I was really going to enjoy this Napa Valley Cab as soon as I caught the aromas. Beautifully balanced with fine supple tannins and acidity that makes your mouth cry for more. Flavours of prime ripe blueberry, raspberry, black cherry, plum and a hint of leather and vanilla. Expertly aged in toasted oak barrels giving it a dry lingering mouth feel that is soft with a smooth full body texture. Incredibly good. You need to find this one. (4.4)

Joyous, simply fantastic. On the nose 1882 has a distinct smell of shaved pencils graphite, dark fruit, and a hint of Oak. 1882 is silky smooth with rich flavors black currant, jam, and baked fruit.

Opaque red in color. Aromas of vanilla, black cherry, and earthy notes. Blackberries, plum, leather, and oak on the palate. Excellent vintage! A well balanced and evolved wine ready to be enjoyed!
Give it 20 min to open up and this drinks amazing. Lots of dark fruit mixed with oak, vanilla. Tannins are smooth and elegant, acidity well balanced and finish quite long.
Reminds me of my Napa visit in 2018. A beautiful winery with so much history. I ordered this bottle because my visit was so wonderful. The winery is the most impressive and historical winery we have visited. The wine will not disappoint.
Fantastic profile of flavors. Dark black fruit, earthy, soft vanilla on the nose. The sufficient acidity on the palate gives shape to the flavors of black cherry plum and blackberry. Poised while still quite voluptuous.
Fabulous Napa Cab!! Made from 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cab Franc, 5% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. Intense deep red with purple hue. Notes of black berries, vanilla, cigar, clay, pepper, oak and cinnamon. Palate full body with medium tannins and a long finish. Really enjoyable and meaty. Went well with a T-bone steak.

初のクインテッサ、2016。 濃厚なガーネットに強いカシスのアロマ。カルメネール由来なのか、少し刺さってくるような甘じょっぱさ、それにタンニンの刺激が印象に残る。すき焼きの濃い割下とは相乗効果が強すぎたか。 間違いなくポテンシャルは高いので、変化に期待。 → 翌日、最後の2杯。期待した通りやはり今日の方が美味い。尖りがなくなり、全てにおいて落ち着きを増し、トータルでバランスが良くなった。香りもより引き立っており、それでもなおカルメネールの甘さが他のカリフォルニア産とは一線を画している印象。
Interesting wine. Strong earthy notes in the nose. Bold wonr with big cherry leather and pepper flavours. Lots of tannin. Perfect with beef filets.
This eve is a cab eve. This wine is a remnant of a wine club I was in and time to move from Argentinian wine. This poured really deep purple. The initial nose was strongly smoke and leather which gave way to dark fruit and plum. The inital mouth is dry and tannic with moderately high acidity. The tannins are layered with notes of oak. The body is a medium plus as is the finish moderately long. Fruit notes are in the late finish.
3 Hour slow ox. Pours medium-deep opaque ruby. Aromas of black plums, black cherries, orange peel, earthy mushroom notes, tobacco and wild strawberries. The palate adds tart cherries, cranberry, pronounced graphite and toasted barrel spices. Medium bodied and nicely balanced with drying acidity and chewy tannins on the medium finish.

Great balance of tannins, gently drying texture, leathery. Developing flavors with some smoke and cedar appearing with time. Paired well with adobo pork taquitos.

Deep ruby Nose: M+ intensity, black fruit, blackberry, green bell pepper, tomato leaf, leather, earthy, graphite, ink, eucalyptus, developing. Palate: dry, high acidity, high tannin, full body, medium alcohol, blackberry, eucalyptus, tomato leaf, oak, medium+ intensity, and long finish. Good structure and blanch, pretty powerful, need a bit more decanting to smooth the tannins.
Oak, leather, minerals, tobacco, full body, round and not pronounced tannins, higher acidity, nice minerality not topical for Napa valey, also missing the typical fruitiness for this region. But overall interesting and nice one !

Needed half an hour to open up..full bodied and smooth with background tannic accents.. typical of Napa Valley cab sebs without the blended star quality oomph…
Deep ruby Med nose of ripe blackberry, raisins, mushrooms, mint Med+ palate of blackberry, black plums, cedar. Med+ acid, med+ tannins. Got a bit of grip. Complexity is not great

Colour: deep ruby. Nose: medium and developing. Palate: dry, medium+ acidity, high tannin, high alcohol, full body, pronounced intensity, medium+ finish. Notes of cassis, blackberry, black plum, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, clove, graphite, and pencil shavings. Quality is very good. This wine shows a lot of restraint, which is an automatic win for me in the context of Napa Cab Sauv. The tannins are very grippy but ripe. Balance is good. Just needs some more patience.

Full black fruits, firm body, and a fine grained texture. Slightly smoky. The palate is calm and pleasing. Light body but nice. Red fruit up front. I expected a bigger cab coming from Rutherford.
