amazing!!! good wine.
So smooth and round. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
I’m new to wine, but this flavor profile really clicked with my taste buds.
Amazing with the short rib I had. By itself was just average that had some cream and was a little mild and lacked tannins. With the right food, the acidity comes out the blackberry and raspberry flowers. Additionally good mushroom and earthy flavors
Really smooth full bodied wine. Very easy to drink. Has oak, vanilla & chocolate flavours. I usually find French wines too subtle & light but this is one of my favourite wines.
Excellent reasonably priced Bordeaux. Dry. Smooth. No bitter after taste. Great value
Excelente rcp. Buen vino a buen precio. Poca acidez, se nota alcohol, madera presente, aromas tostados. Fruta roja. Me encanta.
Good value for a Bordeaux
Blackberry, vanilla, earthyness, bit jammy. Smooth tannins, low acidity, med-full body. Nothing extraordinary, but very nice and balanced
Price/ taste wise a great Bordeaux. I'm not a big fan of the region, becaus of the tannins. But here they are blend in well and support the taste.
Had this at Finestra Solaire Manila. Nose: oak plum leather chocolate mint coffee licorice Palate: blackberry cherry plum plum jam earthy leather oak Dry finish
Easy 4. Fruit-forward Bordeaux with an oak and leather nose. Almost chocolate and ash with some blueberry at the back. Very delicious. And affordable!
Natural wine, feel the grapes very well! Leather, tobacco nose. On palate, on background of fine grain tannin, there’re patterns of ripen cherry, blackberry, minerality. Medium intensity and balance. Going well with pepper, truffle olive omelette.
Oh, very nice... Dark and opaque, fruit forward, black cherry, plum, cassis on the nose High acidity, medium alcohol and full bodied wine, great entry level, still has good but smooth tannins, a little tobacco and vanilla, black cherry, plum and cassis A rare find in this huge market of Bordeaux Superieur...this one stands out
4.0. Fruity and aromatic medium-bodied Bordeaux. Black cherry, blueberry, ripe pomegranate, soil/mineral, and a hint of green bell pepper. The aroma and taste represented the terroir and the blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cab Franc, and 5% Cab Sauvignon. Medium tannin and medium acid. Medium bodied. 1 h decantation. Paired very well with soy sauce marinated beef steak, which was relatively light in taste and fat and complemented the elegance of the wine. Excellent QPR.
(3,9) Value for money, and that is always a welcome combination with Bordeaux. Smell of earth, leather. Robust. Flavours of blackcurrant, blueberry, chocolade, leaves, rosemary, hint of mint. Nice balance between fruit, tannins and earthiness. Cocoa-like tannins. Highly solid wine.
At first this was a mouthful. Bold and rich, deep bodied with lots of rich powerful fruit, red currant and plum at the fore. After a few hours this opens up new levels, the edginess has dissipated and the fruit relaxes to a fruit medley of summer berries with rich creamy notes. It’s a wine of good structure and depth still, but it definitely rewards patience.
Had this with some great steak at home; surprised how well it performed. Easy drinking, with nice boldness, power, dark fruit and some secondary oak. Delicious mouthfeel with a great medium structure.
Good value wine. On its appearance, medium ruby colour. On the nose, medium intensity aromas of black cherry, plum, clove, and mint. The palate is dry, quite gentle and medium tannins, medium acidity, medium-bodied, easy-drinking, medium intensity, and medium finish. Nice at its price and went well with homemade grilled pork steak.
Full bodied. Nose: blackberry, cassis, plum. Black olive. Oak. Vanilla. Roasted meat. Ash. White pepper.licorice. Slate. Chalk. Menthol. Bone dry. Fine grained tannins. High acidity. Nice. Enjoyed a lot.
Had this again after 2 days (advantages of a family not as much into wine), this time with lechon paksiw (roast port leftovers stewed) and spicy Spanish style sardines - went quite well with the former, not too much with the latter. Chocolate and oak notes went well with the pork.
Full bodied. Spicy. Warming on a cold night. I didn’t taste the tannins and it wasn’t all that dry. Well balanced.
Really refreshing. Pleasant aroma, full bodied, and asks for more once you’ve tasted. Would like to try again
Karminsarkans. Garas kājiņas. Smaržā plūmes, upenes un vaniļa. Garšā upenes, lakrica un šokolāde. Skābums un tanīni sabalansēti. Pēcgaršā viegli minerāli. Labs.
Chocolate covered blueberries.
Bordeaux 101 at its best. Everything is there; all in right portions. Cheers! 🍷🍷
4th Bordeaux in bordeaux
Really nice bordeaux - pepper, red fruit oak are the flavours i get here.
Smooth well balanced wine
Even though this Bordeaux blend is Merlot heavy, I really like it. Purchased at Costco.
I like! Flavors of oak leather vanilla
Blackcurranty, dry, easy to drink
Tasty tannins and berry peppers
Dark cherry smell. Dark fruit flavors, fruit forward taste, good mouth feel!
Wowsers- perfect steak partnership :-)
Dark fruit. Bold up front and lots of oaky notes and earthy tones.
Cooked fruit, nice dry finish
3.9 medium bodied. Nice, drinkable and smooth
Great Bordeaux, recently added to the newest collection in vintages LCBO. Aromas of oak, vanilla, some leather and chocolate. Medium bodied, well rounded and balanced. The wine has a pleasant aftertaste and for the price - it’s definitely worth trying. Acid was a medium, tannins were a medium as well, standard for a Bordeaux. Overall, a good find. Cheers! 🍷
Why hello there, Vivino, it's been a minute! With our family expanded, I'm finally able to enjoy wine once again (responsibly), and why not make Bordeaux the first full-bodied red I drink after having my daughter. I'm sure I'm missing half the notes but I get blackberry, a slightly metallic animalistic note, vanilla and nutmeg on the nose. Red cherry, rose, dark chocolate on the palate. Enjoying it a lot and I don't even remember how this bottle got in our wine fridge last year!
Long finish with notes of oak vanilla leather.
Oak, vanilla, chocolate, black berries. Had this in Fienstra. Will have this again.
Deep, dark and delicious. Packs a punch at 15% apv.
Cherry, blackberry, oaky and licorice notes, little amount of silky tannins, present acidity and dry. Although the aromas are really nice, this Clou du Pin is missing length. Medium body Bordeaux.

Not bad. Easy to drink with reasonable prices
Blackberries, cassis, earthy, mushrooms, chocolate, 14.5%.
Very very, when it opened up was amazing
oak vanilla leather
Light and Nice
Naked wines
Oak black cherry earthy dry and light bodied
Strong Medium on touch with less tannin on board, amazing choc- mint presentation with cherry on top, easy match for dinner time
A very nice Bordeaux from The Wine Society. A bold red with a 14%ABV. Notes of vanilla, blackberry, leather, blueberry, plum, and tobacco. Medium intensity on the nose. The tannins are on the softer side with a finish that doesn't last too long. Still a good mid-week wine.
Great value wine made with Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 15%, Cabernet Franc 15% from Bordeaux Superior AOC. The Winery is operated by a small family(father and four sons). It has an ordinary flavor with a nose of blackberry, leather, earthy but price is just 14 US dollars(16,900 Korean won). It has smooth tannins, medium acidity and short length finish.
Very nice simple Bordeaux for every day. 87/100
Good value. Jam and oak
Droogzuure wijn met karakter. Kan wel beter voor de prijs.
Okay, hopefully it improves with age. Aromas of ripe fruit, the palate is sour cherry with a spicy finish. Not a mouth - coating wine.
Good level of deep Violet taste with enough aroma of oak and smoky smell. I am having Sarami with this and good combination.
A very dark red wine with (at 14%) had good legs. An aroma of red fruits and a taste to match without too much if a tannin aftertaste. Very nice and worth trying if seen.
A very good Bordeaux with aromas of ripe red fruit and minerality. The palate is with juicy and fresh fruits and it has oak notes with a hint of vanilla. The finish is long and soft...Very recommendable for its affordable price...
A nice gritty Bordeaux. Classic treats like cassis and graphite, integrated vanilla. Rather tight despite its aging (4 years) Med fine grainy tannins, med acidity. Dark fruits balanced in line with the nose. Lacking a bit complexity but good value for money. Nice. 14 pts @ wijnhandel Francoise
Tannic with a strong plum finish. Another great but affordable 2012 Bordeaux.
Fruity medium bodied good finish no tannins
3.5 ⭐️ Cherry, tobacco, oak, cassis notes. Full body, very tannic! Expected more...
Lovely house red at The Withies. Great value for money.
Quite smooth. Nothing special but rather light. A little too blend.
Too heavy, drop and herbs are way too much
