Niepoort Douro Turris

2019 tasted in the Niepoort cellar in May 2026. Ultimate finesse in this wine is utterly remarkable, and this is the best Alicante Bouschet in the market. Tasting the 2025 in barrel, I was struck at the big spice, which fortunately gets tamed with years of bottle ageing. The dark fruit is there in an elegant perfume, but never over the top, the tannins are very fine, the structure and length incredible. An utter privilege to drink.

2016年を2023/10/30 レドマで開けたて ブルゴーニュの極上ワインを思わせる濃厚な香り。フレッシュな赤い果実、軽ーい獣感、ジャミーな赤い果実系。エレガントな香り。 味わいは香りの割にフレッシュでしっかりした酸味と程よいタンニン。甘さはない。 味わいがもっと甘めだったらもっと好み。でも香り抜群。

Deep ruby. Dry. M+ acidity. Medium tannin. 黒果実、ブルーベリー、樽は感じない。価格がやや高過ぎる。
