Hentley Farm The Stray Mongrel

Highlight of the hentley farm flight, outshone the otto and h-block. Complex, with nice eucalyptus, mint and dried sage flavours balancing the cassis, blackberry, vanilla and cherry. Simply excellent now and in next 20 years.

Half a bottle of old and half a bottle of new. Still does well under the circumstances. Tobacco and dark fruit flavours, not getting much on the nose.

Wow, a unique experience from start to finish. Jam nose, Medium body enjoyable. A perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Prime black fruit, cherry subtle oak backed by a few challenging notes. Licorice is my best bet. Hentley does it again 👌
