Sublime, extraordinario. Seda pura. Elegancia es la palabra que mejor lo define. Catamos las añadas 2017 y 2008 y fue un gran placer. Ojalá vuelva a probar otras añadas.

Tuve la suerte de catarlo con su creador, Marcos Eguren, junto con Alabaster, Victorino y demás vinos de la bodega y aunque creía que no podría ser más elegante, sedoso y distinguido que el Alabaster, me equivoqué. Lo es. Un tesoro, una obra maestra, una joya... ESPECTACULAR

Demeter! 125-135 year old grown wine. 800 bottles per vintage. Toasty notes chocolate, tobacco, dried red fruits, Mokka, very elegant, med fine grained tannins well integrated and ultra long. Worth the price.....hmmm I don’t know. Extrem rare.....

Best spanish wine I had so far! Dark cherry, decent mokka, wood, cassis, berries red and black, tight, attractive, elegant flow with straight structure, medium + tannins, perfectly integrated, fruit aromas stay for minutes in this endless finish.

This is tasting of an epic proportion. Purity of fruits, texture and bouquet. The perfumed nose is beautifully scented that lead seamlessly to the flavoursome palate. Gorgeous fruit concentration of blackberry, riped plums, balanced by earthy, leathery and smoky characters. Velvety, smooth and plush.

This wine feels like drinking a Pinot from Pommard; powerful, incredibly fine, elegant and seductive to the bone. Loads of fine cherry, cacao powder, cuban cigar (Cohiba Maduro) “beam me up Scotty” structure, loooong potential and a full pleasure to drink. This for me is a 100pt wine. The price is very steep in my oppinion but what can you expect for a wine with a < 600 bottle annual production such as this!!! A mega cheers to those who have had the luck to have it!!!

The king of Spain definitely the best spanish wine i have had. Is it worth the price? Definitely. Is it worth for me? No i would take a burgundy any day of the week. That being said its the complete opposite. Powerful, complex meaty so many layers after layers and constant evolution. Its really an experience more then a simple wine.

Es de los top 10 del mundo mundial. De la misma bodega de Alabaster, Victorino y Almirez, este vino lleva el nombre de la bodega. “TESO LA MONJA”. No es barato, es un gran lujo pero si puedes pagarlo debes probarlo alguna vez.

Despues de una cuidadosa preparacion para enfrentar este vinazo, les puedo decir que en nariz, es una explosion de fruta y especies, en boca se disfruta un gran balance entre fuerza, cuerpo y sedosidad... Despues de tres horas, el bouquet no fue de vainilla o caramelo tipico del roble frances, la expresion de fruta y especies prevaleció y se mantuvo constante. Realmente incomparable. Busquen la oportunidad para probarlo y disfrutarlo.

Es un vino espectacular!, me dejo deslumbrado , nunca pensé que esta cepa podría brindar tanta fineza, muy suave en la boca, parece terciopelo, aromas frescos y frutados a la vez, con tonos de lavanda y tomillo, el final no termina nunca, es perfecto lo calificó con 100 Puntos Ferrand 🍷

Hasta hace poco, y no sé si aún, el vino más caro de España. Un vino de la familia Eguren con 24 meses de crianza en roble francés y una producción limitada de 837 botellas. Hay que tener amigos en todos los sitios, gracias a eso he podido catar este vino. El concepto de este vino es elegancia, complejidad y esencia de los vinos de Toro. Complejidad que comienza por una intensidad en nariz excelente, con mucha fruta negra perfectamente ensamblada a los tostados del roble, con notables especias,

Tiene aromas complejos desde florales hasta terrosos. Igual sus sabores que empiezan afrutados especialmente frutos rojos y sabores a madera, regaliz, tabaco, chocolate y especias. Verdaderamente un señor vino!!!

Oportunidad única en Enoteca Khantaros de Zaragoza de probar esta joya elaborada por la familia Eguren. Cosecha de 2014, abierta en 2022. Aunque tendrá guarda para tiempo, ya se puede tomar y apreciar. Uno de los únicos cuatro vinos españoles que cuesta más de 1,000 euros. Unas 850 botellas por añada, despalillado y selección de uvas totalmente manual. En nariz fruta muy madura y especias. En boca fino, cálido, notas a yogur. Perfecto. Deja un recuerdo largo. Muy bueno.

Blackberry, blueberry, smoke, licorice, clove and mineral notes are harmonious and complex in this rich, smooth red. It has plenty of structure, but remains seamless through the long, toasty finish. Beautiful modern-style character. Outstanding!

Vino premium de los mejores que existen

Deep, ruby red. Raspberry, rose, minerals and spices on the nose. Sweet red and dark berry flavors with graphite and candied floral. Minerals and leaves with sweet red fruits in the finish.

Super tight. Needs hours to breathe. Yet shows incredible complexity and length. Not quite sure it's worth the price and hype though.

Toro tasting. Fifth wotn. My third wotn. My first time this Spanish most expensive wine. Also first released vintage with this rarity. Blackberries and plums, graphite, toffee, chocolate and vanilla oak on nose. Smooth acidity and rounded tannins on palate. Fullbodied and complex fruity finish. Excellent structure and balance.
