Rich black fruit, cigars in cedar wraps with hints of pepper and a pleasant sweet note. I’m a Merlot fan and this wine doesn’t disappoint. Perfection or damn close to it. Well done!!!

Had in Napa and was so good! Notes of dark fruit ie plum and fig, spice, licorice, cacao, tobacco, and espresso. Easy drinking, soft and subtle. Would age wonderfully and pair with steak. Had with mimolette and peach purée which was excellent. Went well with the delice de Bourgogne and buckwheat honey / petit basque and pistachio butter too.

We thoroughly enjoyed that Darioush merlot on Saturday night. I'm not usually a fan of merlot because I find them a bit heavy, but this one was very complex and we really enjoyed it! It had a bite to it, but it was still smooth enough to enjoy on its own, with only some mixed nuts on the side! (Cheese actually would have been really good!)....

Jammy, peppery, and a bit musty. Bold and a little tannic. Pair with pasta carbonara. Worth the price.

2012 vintage, very robust, much more complex then typical merlot

Dark colour, Full body, character of great wine. Dry, low acid. I would say no tannic

Cherry pie. Delicious. BUY BUY BUY.

A cab lover’s merlot

Gorgeous deep purple hue, strong aromatics of vibrant cherry and black fruit, terrifically smooth upon the palate with elegant structure and bountiful fruit; notes of bright and dark fruits commingle, with a little candies pop upon the finish. Fun wine — our friends bought a bottle to pair with the pasta we made that night. A great memory with a lovely wine and excellent people. Who could ask for more?

Deep, chewy style wine - really got me From the start. I have had a couple of vintages of their merlot and this is probably the best

Full bodied, licorice, fruity and slightly sweet and slightly spicy. Very big and tannins are still firm. Good structure and drinking well

Strong jammed black fruits on the nose. Blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, cloves, and vanilla. Long tannins finish with the 14.8% showing up just after, slightly hot finish.

Ripe and juicy merlot. Very delicious from start to finish. Red fruited, vanilla, Baking spices with decent acidity and medium long finish.

Cab drinkers merlot. Top of mount veeder. Oak is very nice. Little blackberry and chocolate. Vanilla finish

It was quite nice and bolder than your average Merlot, and more like a Cabernet. I enjoyed it and would get it again

4.2 Även detta vin från producenten leverar såklart. Det är ett riktigt gott vin med tydlig merlot karaktär och hög fat med bra balans. 750kr är ett svårt pris. Jag har svårt att sätta det själv på en Napa som denna, skulle säga att de Oakville jag har druckit runt 600-700kr levererar högre och är mer värda för min del.

Jammy with flavors of dark fruit

Dark ruby color. Beautiful nose full of plum. Slight hickory notes with cherry and spice. Very good, but probably not worth the price.

Dark burgundy hued; mildly acidic, off dry, intensely dark cherry palated with hints of harsh tannins which mellow with food. A lovely taste experience.

Good standing Merlot ...not the best on the market nor the worst. Taste more towards tabacco ...you can actually feel the aftertaste of ash , cigar , ....not really my type of wine but still a good choice for those who enjoy this style
