Fantastic red with high acid, very interesting and compelling
Plums, ripe sour cherries, dark berries. Rare grape.
Medium-Light bodied, very smooth/fine tannins, black fruit and stewed fruit notes with a nice oaky and tobacco finish

Um vinho bem diferente. Um nariz suave, frescura, mas explode e evolui na boca. Uns taninos no fim muito bem integrados. Boa surpresa!

爽やかな柑橘系の香り。 期待通り柑橘系の刺激。酸味強くさっぱりしている。アタックに甘みを感じるような気がするがすぐに無くなり、すっきりした後味。ライトボディ。 2週間後、香りは飛んでしまって、少し防腐剤的な感じ。 味はまろやかになり、飲みやすい。アタックにあった鮮烈な刺激は弱まり、甘みもあまり感じない。酸味ベースは変わらず、後味のスッキリ感も変わらず。 総じて、爽やかな口当たりで飲みやすく、構えずに飲むのがいい。
This is an awesome wine. My first ever Souson and I am in love! Very dry red. Super dark ruby color. Medium body with medium tannins. Very herbal smell with a bit of cinnamon, oak and cherry. On the tongue very intense overripe raspberry. Value for money is insane on this. This is a hidden treasure to me! Simply outstanding find!

Dry, dark fruit, medium body and tannins. Better to let it aerate for a bit and serve slightly chilled. Overall pretty good.

Vuelvo a probarlo y me encanta, es un vino joven floral ,con buen aroma en nariz y un color púrpura muy bonito, en boca es muy agradable acidez marcada, frutal y fresco ..... Invita a beber es sabroso. Diferente me gusta.
Sempre achei que a Espanha oferece alguns dos melhores achados do mundo do vinho. O país que possui a maior concentração de vinhas velhas, com algumas das Canárias e Castilla la Mancha com idades até 130 anos. A concentração de sabor e complexidade aportadas aos vinhos, muitos nem tão caros, é inigualável. Como este q provei recentemente. Salud España!!

Very interesting grape and yummy and refreshing. Sniffs of blackberry and blueberry, black pepper and dried herbs. As you sip there is crunchy dark fruit of more blueberry and blackberry, mid palate a touch of mushroom graphite and leather and a bit of a floral finish. High acid, low body and little tannins. No malolactic fermentation. This is good with a bit of a chill
Deep ruby with purple rim in glass, medium aromas of succulent cherry, vanilla and earthy. Dry, high acidity, medium- fine-grained tannins, medium alcohol, medium- body, medium flavours of red cherry, raspberry, black cherry, blackberry, vanilla and earthy long finish. Very well balanced, fruit forward but tart, complex and with a lingering finish. Very good. This is actually made of a varietal used for Porto! [Bibenda].

Primo approccio con questo vitigno. Ovviamente va contestualizzata la bevuta. È un vino semplice ma la semplicità in questo caso non è un difetto. Rosso rubino intenso di media consistenza. Al naso è vinoso, frutti rossi e note erbacee e vegetali. In bocca è caldo, secco e abbastanza morbido. Tannini leggeri così come leggera è la freschezza acida e la sapidità. Poco persistente ed equilibrato. Un bel vino piacevole e di facile beva. Gioviale e scanzonato.
Easy to drink, not too long finishing dark fruit oak
Rich strawberry fumes. Very smooth, touch of chocolate, cherry, plum. A touch syrupy though, drifting towards caramel. Oversized different and good.
L: Garnet S: Blackberry, cherry, plum with a hint of vanilla essence T: Medium bodied, smooth rounded tannins, sharp. Bursting with hedgerow fruits and an earthiness from a wisp of oak. Great to cut through fatty meats like duck and lamb.
Vinos de cumple 9/14 Dadas las circunstancias, me disculparéis que no haga reseñas demasiado sesudas. Las botellas, en el orden que me piden mis invitados. Otra de las sorpresas de la noche! Monovarietal de Sousón, variedad que suele acompañar a otras pero no mostrarse en soledad. Buena fruta, buen cuerpo, todo bien integrado. Muy interesante y encima bien de precio!

Happy 🔠 Saturday, for ⚡️ we have ⚡️ouson, Vivino have the Portuguese ⚡️ouzao/ ⚡️ousao/⚡️ezao grape name listed below. This wine is from ⚡️pain so is known as ⚡️ouson. I lightly chilled this and it worked very well. All that pure fruit remained expressive, blackberry and raspberry. There’s a little bit of funk in the background but the light chill minimised it. Some lovely herbal notes are there and so is liquorice. An enjoyable wine for summer evenings. My 🔠 entry please @[1|463609|KK1] @[1|16

Calidad 3️⃣,8️⃣ muy bueno➡️ agradable, suave, frutal, fresco, poca intensidad y escasa persistencia, ideal para chatear. 👀 granate intensidad media. 👃 floral, fruta roja, lácteos, gominolas, regaliz . 😛seco, acidez media,cuerpo medio (menos) tanino medio, suave, integrado, de textura fina, intensidad ligera, final medio (menos)
It’s an ok wine, not sure it’s anything special. Deep earthy plum notes, medium strong body. Spicy ending.
Surprising to the tongue. Bitty yet full of dark fruit notes. Easy on the palate. Medium tannins.
Monovarietal de Sousón. Por eso se lleva ya algo más. Muy atlántico. Capa media, con considerable pigmentacion en lengua. En nariz es muy frutal. Granada, mora ácida, pizarra. Entra bien en boca pero se queda un tanto corto. Un pinot noir atlantico.

Intriguing nose followed by earthy, spicy dark berry notes and a dry finish. As others have noted here, this wine should aerate a bit before drinking.
First time I have ever had Sousón. This is an interesting varietal. Slightly acidic and that’s the first thing that stands out to me on the palate. Blackberry and oak are prominent on the nose. Definitely earthy that is held up by some acidity. Quite interesting. Initially rated as a 3.5, may change as it opens up.
Cor rubí, limpio. En nariz aparece o mentolado, os balsámicos. Intenso sen cansar. En boca un pouco frouxo, descompensado,un chisco ácedo. Volven aparecer o mentolado, a froita vermella, balsámicos. Non cansa pero tampouco enche. Monovarietal Sousón. Bebido 2023 en decembro 2025. Sobre 11€ en Vide Vide (Compostela). Pra non repetir.

Very soft, easy to drink
Easy to drink but not enough going on with it to warrant the price. If you can get it direct for a party and not in a restaurant then go for it.
A light bodied easy drinker, 100% sousón, a varietal with which I am unfamiliar. It has left an impression after one week. I’ll buy it again.
Took a little coaxing to get this one out of the glass but after it sat a minute, a wonderful red. Drank by itself. Definitely would purchase again.
First time Sousón from Galicia, Spain! Varietal more related to Portuguese Vinhao. Made from youngest vine on the eatate in Ribeiro. Deep purple with reddish rim and small gradation. Nose of oak, humid forest floor, thick dark fruit, and new leather. Full body, fine velvety H tannin, M acidity, dry, short finish. Monovarietal souson. 13 grados. 4 meses de crianza barricas roble. Rojo cereza, ribete rubí, limpio y brillante. Frutos rojos, algo de ciruela. Es fresco, algo de frambuesas de fondo. Tercer vino cena maridaje Pura Finura+ Tahulla.

First of all: €7.50! Amazing value. Fruity nose followed by dry, spicy and oaky flavours that are kind of tingly. Then some dark fruit. Not a million miles away from being like Pinot Noir. I could maybe give it 3.5 stars if I was in a charitable mood but... I’m not and I haven’t. it’s good but not very good or amazing. Would buy again at this excellent price. Nicer than many £20 supermarket wines.
