Some Yakitori like meat ball, liver are usually grilled and dipped in sweet sauce. With such rich sweet sauce, Merlot is recommended for pairing. Good oaky fragrance and quite heavy tannins, but super well balanced. It is such an attractive wine. I personally love the appeal of attack and long length of aromas. つくねやレバーなどタレの焼鳥にメルローが合います。di Lenardo のjust me。オススメのメルローです。タンニンと樽香が強い。コクがありレーズンの香りがします。1ヶ月陰干しした葡萄で造っているそうです。甘くこってりしたタレに合いますので、デミグラスソースのハンバーグとかもいいと思います。写真の刺身は…もらったので😅 醤油もまぁまぁです。

Amazing price/quality merlot done in a "light" amarone style - the grapes are harvested late and partially dried for 1 month. What follows is cold maceration for 15 days and then 18 months aging in american oak. As a result you get - tons of blackberry and plum, sweet vanilla and dried black fruits on a layer of very soft tannins. Drinks easy. Not terribly complex, but very well worth its price.

Just Me from Di Lenardo is so delicious. Robust, real Mertol like it has to be...full of flavours, dried plum, green pepper, mature cherry...after one hour it start to show oak, tabacco on the nose...colour is dark red, and tannins are midium-high.

Medium - full bodied, rich merlot bursting with red & dark fruit, with subtle touch of earthy, leathery notes. Well balanced acidity and enough tannins for a nice long finish. Well worth the £26 (retail).

Teilweise appassimento-Verfahren, 18 Monate Barriques, neues Etikett mit Massimo in Kinderkleidung. Intensive Nase, Brombeeren, reife Kirschen, etwas rauchig, sehr langer Abgang. Ich habe noch zwei Kisten 2006er im Keller...

War een neus frambozen, rode kersen, kruidig, vanille, smaak van. Wat een ongelofelijk lange afdronk klein pepertje, uiteindelijk rood fruit, 2 minuten later proef je hem nog. Even wachten tot de volgende slok.

Rijp donker fruit, kruiden en subtiele cacao in de neus. In de mond vol en zijdezacht dankzij de oude Merlot‑aanplant, met duidelijke maar elegante houtinvloed van 18 maanden Amerikaans vat. Warm, intens en bijzonder aangenaam.

Fluweelrood van kleur, in de neus ruikt het naar kersenbonbons. De ronde afdronk heeft veel body, is gemiddeld in de zuren en heeft aanwezigheid van laurier met chocolade. Erg lekkere wijn, stevig maar zonder te veel tannines.

Merlot molto interessante, con un retrogusto di ciliegia. Mi ha stupito per la sua raffinatezza. Consigliato !!!

Nice expressive mix berries aroma. Taste is very nice. Cherry, plum, blackberry, leather, coffee, tobacco, spicy notes. Juicy, rather profound and well-balanced with good acidity and integrated tannins. Finish is intense and persistent. Good value for money for such a nice wine!

What a nose on this one — absolutely heavenly. Someone should make a perfume inspired by this Merlot; it would sell by the millions. It’s irresistibly seductive. This wine is a simple one yet very enjoyable, is fruit-forward, bursting with red fruits, like cherry, berries and plum wrapped in gentle oak-driven notes of vanilla and chocolate. On the palate it is juicy with a refreshing acidity and mild tannins.

Vanilla, leather, cinnamon, Lycoris and wood aroma. Very very concentration. Silky but full of energy. Chocolate and cassis note. Interesting one. これがフリウリ？！ 凝縮感がすごくて、口の中の水分が全部取っていかれる。 けど、次、また次とグラスに手が伸びる。 味のバランスが秀逸。

イタリア・ヴェネツィアジュリア ディ レナルド「JUST ME」2016 メルロー100% しっかりボディだけど、優しく心地よい飲み口。オークの香りも程よく効いている。土っぽさ、新しい畳のようなフレッシュさ、スモーキーでスパイシーで、結構深みがあり複雑。美味しい。

Nice fresh tasting merlot,medium bodied with some suble hints of vanille and roasted coffee in the nose and on the palate. Balanced.

Soft and velvety, mild tannins and evenly balanced juicy fruitiness with acidity (higher acidity well integrated), great PQR. 3,8 is just right.

Nez intense de fruits mûrs et d'épices. Une partie des raisins est vinifiée comme l Amarone ce qui procure souplesse et accentue la complexité de ce Merlot pur jus certes moderne mais intéressant.

One fair and Decent wine. Nothing spectacular about it, but balanced, fruity wine, soft and elegant tannins, for higher grade missing deeper complexity.

Great Merlot, even though this is one of my least favorite grape.cherry, vanilla, plum, chocolate. Fantastic long finish, enough acidity with round tannins. Body is medium at best but still a very nice one.

This Merlot from Italy has a solid back bone with ripe & smooth tannins on creamy texture and racy & integrated acidity. Bacon fat, raisin, cherry pit, plum, leather, blackberry, tobacco, pepper, spices, tomato... reminds me little of Rioja. This is a good solid bottle, doesnt have flaws but doesnt have that WOW moment... still its only 20$

I haven’t tried many good 100% merlot that I love. This one, I do for sure, from veneto, I believe. Medium bodied, nice viscosity, red fruits, plum, touch of chocolate, vanilla, nice round tannins with a lovely and long spicy finish. Really good, a 4.2, really.

I kept it in the cellar for a while and yesterday decided to open it: the timing was perfect, the smell of plums, chocolate,and leather was great, the velvety mouth with the hint of wood and the red fruits was gorgeous. Really good!

4+ Si conferma anche nel 2013 un ottimo Merlot in purezza. Forse giusto in filo caldo al momento ma con il tempo potrà solo migliorare. Rotondo vinoso e gradevolissimo!

(3,8) medium intens kersenrood. In de neus geuren van kers, zwarte bes, pruim, amandel, custard, roos, bosgrond en drop. De aanzet is droog met medium+ zuren, medium+ tannines en medium alchohol. Op het palet tonen van zwarte kers, braam, gedroogde pruim, kaneel, roos, bosgrond en hout. Mooie balans, goede complexiteit en elegant. Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Toujours aussi agréable . Belle robe rouge qui prend des tons bruns. Nez fruité avec quelques notes de vieillissement. Parfait pour le moment , je n'attendrai plus pour terminer mes bouteilles de 2013.

Pas déçu une nouvelle fois par la maison Di Lenardo. Au nez on reconnait directement le merlot avec ses notes de fruits noirs, de vanille, de chocolat et le cuir toute cette gourmandise mais avec une belle fraicheur. Ensuite en bouche l'attaque est franche, gros volume et grosse structure, les fruits noirs se confiturent, les tanins sont soyeux et souples et la longueur est importante. Un nez bordelais, la bouche d'un amarone.

扳栓直後の甘いミルク、苺の香りに驚く まるで練乳苺ジャム。 アタックはやはり苺の様な強い果実味しかも相当甘い... 次に、よく空気と触れさせて香りを取ると、今度はカシス→黒系果実、土に皮、スモーキーな香りも出て 落ち付きと複雑味が出て、ファーストインプレッションからがらりとイメージが異なることに再び驚く。 ボルドー右岸のメルロー主体の雰囲気で、とても美味しい。 樽がよく効いていて、チョコレートやバニラのニュアンスも強い。 数分でこの変化、 更なる経時変化も楽しみにしたが、数日後は樽香が弱まり、果実味が残るも、やはり少し甘すぎる状態に⁉︎

Parfait pour un temps lourd et chaud. Le fruité n'est pas trop prononcé, avec la pêche, les agrumes, une légère acidité. accessible, très agréable.

A north Italian Merlot with ambition. 18 months on wood and fully ripe fruit deliver a well structured wine; a straight nose, ripe red fruits and some oak vanilla and spices in the nose. Med acidity and med+ tannins reveal a slightly warmer climate than Pomerol. A light drying mouthfeel, fresh and good acidity. Flavors of plums and laurel. Med+ finish. Not bad at all! 14pts for now but with development potential. @ Art of wines.
