うまい！ていうよりすごい！特に酸味が。遠く遠く、彼方まで続いてく〜 So intense, still fresh! Plum, sour cherry, black currant, vanilla, espresso, potpourri, M body, the label says 14 per cent but very elegant mouth feel, high and lingering acidity like going over the horzon, powerfully fruity, M- tannin which is very velvetty, pleasantly sweetish. A great Chianti!!

In het glas mooie balans tussen de tannines en de frisse zuren. Zijdezachte textuur. Gaat Mooi samen met Bistecca Fiorentina.

Su questo vino sono di parte perché è prodotto a San Miniato nel mio paese. Il tempranillo è un vitigno di origine spagnola portato a San Miniato, si pensa, dai pellegrinaggi sulla via francigena. Da una trentina d'anni la famiglia Beconcini valorizza questo uvaggio in una produzione in purezza. Dal colore rosso amaranto, il tempranillo al palato ha delle note di ciliegia e frutta rossa matura con un finale speziato in cui predominano la cannella e il cacao. Blind tasting evening. To give an answer to my Vivino friend @[1|336469|aka V V V], I organised a blind tasting dinner with two friends of mine. The goal was to compare this Tuscan Tempranillo with two local Sangiovese with similar vinification and age. Tempranillo IXE was compared with Reciso, 100% from same vinery and A Sirio from Sangervasio, a typical Sangiovese tew km west of Beconcini's vinery (unfortunately now closed, I'm afraid). Result was surprising. Actually all of us three correctl

It seems that almost any grape in Tuscany outperforms the native Sangiovese. This is 100% Temparanillo - it is not overly expressive, but strong robust oaking is evident in this well made wine. Charred firewood, smoke, cured meats, vanilla, chocolate, eucalyptus, Californian cedarwood interior in a craftsman house on a scorching day in July, as well as vague berries on the nose, firm acidity in the mouth and strong, springy tannins - like biting into and underripe pear. Match to grilled meat.

This was a pleasant surprise. Has a lot of the earthiness I love in tempranillo with some brighter fruit and sharp acid. Hint of almond/raisin joins cherry on the nose. Soft on the palate. Medium plus acid, tart cherry.

Latest vintage 2017. Full with red fruit, tabacco, coffee, bit leather. Full bodied, layered and nice long finish. Potential for further development. Nice wine from lovely people with a great background (check website)

Toscano com 90% tempranillo e o restante sangiovese. 14 meses em barricas é mais seis em garrafa. Evoluído, frutas negras maduras e balsâmico, com bastante cacau. Final médio para longo. Gostei da experiência. O produtor se intitula o único que produz tempranillo na Itália...

Fiori e frutta nera. Acidità spiccata e non tipica del vitigno, che per sua caratteristica si presta a lunghi invecchiamenti, soprattutto in legno. Questa freschezza gli dona un po’ di leggerezza e italianità. Si sposa bene a piatti della tradizione, ma se lo si lasciasse riposare qualche anno, almeno 5, potrebbe migliorare, non poco.

Rubino intenso tendente al granata, al naso subito affiorano ciliegie e frutti rossi in genere, cioccolato e terziario di legno (lasciato maturare in botti di rovere qualche mese). Bel corpo, equilibrato tra durezze e morbidezze, buona acidità a contrasto dei tannini. Ottima cantina, unica a produrre il Tempranillo (vitigno spagnolo) in Toscana!!!

Developed flavors despite its young age. Flavors of roses, sour cherries, raspberries, tobacco and balsamic vinegar. Characteristic, balanced and complex. The bottle was a gift, drank it at home.

Very good Chianti reserva wine from Tuscany, Italy. Not very intense red of color. Full body red wine, very smooth and soft on the tongue. Soft tannins. Taste of blackberries and vanilla.

The nose showed floral and herbal notes, red fruit, dried fruit too, spice and vanilla with delicate caramel in the background. The palate was round spicy and vibrant at first, while the mid-palate became very traditional showing classic dry, leathery, earthy, dusty and mineral characters making this medium bodied wine elegant with great freshness and vitality.

Mellow with a bit of acidity. Maybe some leather. I’m not a big Chianti fan, but this is pretty good.

Afrutado, con buena acidez, ligero y taninos muy suaves... Tiene pinta de una buena evolución en botella, por precio está increíble.

Rosso rubino intenso, profumo di frutti rossi maturi, ciliegia, legno, molto corposo, alcolico, acido e molto tannico e persistente. Un buon vino, profumato e di struttura.

Un vino un po’ complicato, i profumi sono forti non da difetto, ma proprio per l’uva… sicuramente i frutti scuri e prugna, ma un grandissimo odore di “cancello arrugginito” , carne... stessi sapori in bocca... intendiamoci, sono tutti piacevoli… ottimo il tannino, lunghezza e acidità... due bottiglie su due identiche. 😋😋

85% Sangiovese, 15% canaiolo provenienti da vecchi vigneti di oltre 50 anni per questo Chianti riserva. Vinificatura con lunga macerazione in tini cemento e successiva maturazione in botti di rovere Slavonia e infine 30 mesi in bottiglia. Caldo, felpato, intenso con i suoi tannini accesi e profumi spiccanti di frutti di bosco a bacca rossa. Apprezzato con un bel bbq ha dato il meglio di se!

A mio dire un bel riserva,granato profondo con riflessi violacei,un naso non intensissimo di rosa appassita bacche nere quercie leggere note balsamiche,in bocca bella morbidezza,con tannini vellutati, bella corposità, con un ritorno di vaniglia,buona persistenza.

Kul ! Tempranillo från Toscana. Finns både typisk tempranillo ton och syra från toscana, fantastisk smörig/knäckig doft.

A lot of oak with earthy & leather undertones which dominate the dark fruits. Not sure this was quite what I expected, but being from Tuscany it was never going to be a run of the mill wine. Had the first glass without food, the second with a pizza topped with lots of chorizo & it tasted much better with food. Quite complex and with excellent length, I honestly couldn’t make up my mind whether I wasn’t that impressed or really liked it and would buy again.

Nice smooth easy drinking. Smoky fruit.

Vitigno spagnolo coltivato a San Miniato in Toscana. Rosso rubino. Al naso classici frutti rossi maturi e tabacco. Tannino tondo. Scarsa complessità e struttura e acidità media. Finale medio lungo. Nel complesso un buon vino, equilibrato ma che non si lascia ricordare. Essendoci stato offerto non ho idea di quanto costi ma non lo pagherei più di 10 euro.

Tuscan Tempranillo... yes, it exists, yet it’s resembling more other Tuscan offerings (blindly I would guess Sangiovese) than its Iberian relatives. Boutique organic winery (I’m not certain if already certified in 2012 but I think so). Year in used barrels. Dark colour with first signs of aging. Smooth with ripe fruits, spices, delicate floral notes, licorice, oak, vanilla, soft tannins, med acidity, abv 13.5 well integrated. Paired nicely (as expected) with homemade pizza 🍕

Mi ha incuriosito per le uve tempranillo.. in Toscana. Di un colore rosso rubino scarico. Al naso poco intenso e poco persistente. Si percepiscono sentori di frutti piccoli a bacca rossa. Al palato morbido, elegante con un leggero tannino. Nel complesso un buon prodotto.

Un Tempranillo in TOSCANA. Non è la sua terra ma questo vitigno ha dato un bel nettare. Un vino corposo e morbido..rosso rubino intenso. Fluido. .profumi sontuosi di frutta e spezie ed al palato è bello caldo..con tannini evidenti ma non incidenti negativamente. Buona acidità e sapidità. Un bel vino delle colline pisane.

I drank it with pork fillet saltimbocca. It had good body but was light on the palate, just right for pairing with pork. 豚フィレ肉のサルティンボッカに合わせて飲んだ。 ボディはしっかりとあるが、味わいは軽やかであり、豚肉に合わせるにはちょうど良かった。
