The winery Poggio Argentiera,26 ha, is located in Maremma of Tuscany,Italy.It is part of Tua Rita winery and is managed by the grandson,Giovanni Frascolla and his oenologist colleagues .the grapes are carefully selected to the extent they do 5 passes the grapes are carbernet franc,syrah.they are quickly macerated for a week and then fermented and aged in steel tank. Taste..the result is a fruity and very refeshing ,tasty and easy drinking wine .the tannin is soft and enveloping on the palate. Jk

Very nice casual evening wine

Intense Rubin red. Interesting and clean bouquet with berries and spices, blackberry, liquorice and coffee grain in particular. The real feeling of the grape. Well balanced in mouth, again clean and honest, offering once again the feeling you get at the nose. Persistent once swallowed, delicate tannin and good acidity. Well structured while with medium body. Deserves the money, less than 10€

Um belo exemplar da Toscana! Equilibrado, corpo médio com frutas vermelhas, potente, final médio, bem agradável! Blend interessante de Cabernet Franc com Syrah! Inusitado!

4/5 Super agréablement surpris. De la matière mais relativement harmonieuse, bien loin de l’astringence quelques fois retrouvée dans les vins jeunes toscans. Très agréable, variétal bien sûr mais une belle surprise. Sur un plat de pasta bien sûr! 🍝🍷✨

Belle découverte d’un rapport qualité prix avantageux. Robe de faible intensité grenat au pourtour pourpre. Nez très discret. Mérite de respirer un certain temps. On retrouve des notes d’épices, de petits fruits rouges et de bois. En s’ouvrant on découvre de nouvelles arômes de de sucre d’orge, de vanille et de réglisse noire. Attaque amère. Sec en bouche avec des tanins fondus puis des notes de vanille de bois et de fraise. Bonne longueur avec une finale légèrement amère.

Di colore rosso Rubino con riflessi porpora, al naso aromi Fruttati e Speziati con note di More, Mirtillo, Lampone, Liquirizia e Pepe Nero. In bocca morbido, piacevole, rotondo, fresco con una buona persistenza. Davvero un buon Vino per qualità e per il prezzo.

Bom vinho, apresentou uma coloração rubi com traços violáceos, muitas lágrimas densas e grosas, seus aromas são de frutas vermelhas em destaque para a cereja, balsâmico e um leve toque amadeirado, em boca seus taninos estão vibrantes, encorpado, volumoso, boa adstringência, boa acidez, potente e persistente, seca a boca esperando o próximo gole, no retrogosto seus aromas se confirmam, gostei e recomendo

Een blend van Syrah en Cabernet Franc, heerlijke stevige afdronk, tonen van donker fruit, pruim en aards.

Dark garnet color. Red berry jam on the nose with cherry. Dry red fruit on the palate. Smooth with some nice depth, not extremely complex but nice and palatable. Smooth and sippable, a tiny bit of roughness in the finish, but all in all it’s a pleasant wine. Would be great for a party, once we can have those again.

89/100 Hidden gem! As always Italians undervalued matured wine. I have bought it on sale for several euros. It definitely got better through the years and now it’s ready to drink. Black cherry, black currant, blackberry, prune, a lot of minerals, stone, salt, spices, licorice, earthy. Silky and rounded on the palate.

Koffie, chocola, aards en nog een lading fruit bovenop. Prima gevuld. Qua smaken. Textuur had wat dikker, sappiger, romiger gekund. Geen botervolle mond, wel de fijne smaken.

Color of medium purple, medium opacity. Nose of strong oak, ripe red fruit, cherry. Palette of red fruit like raspberry and strawberry. Medium-high tannin and medium acidity. Medium finishing.

Interesting new age Tuscan, largely Syrah dominant, beautiful garnet colour, thin consistency, perfect red fruit nose, dark cherry, red plum, cranberry, and red currant. Slightly spicier in the mouth. Smooth, very well balanced, very soft tannins. Fresh, light. Drinks well with food. This wine is a perfect light dinner choice, not an aperitivo sipper, or for those who prefer a more robust Syrah.

Hele prima Italiaanse rode wijn uit de Toscane. Mooi vol en stevig. Kruidig, leer, houtje, donker rood fruit. Lekker bij stukje beef.

Vino dal colore rosso rubino con riflessi prugna, profumi e sapori in sincronia,prugna, mirtillo,ribes,pepe nero,liquirizia. Vellutato,morbido, giusta acidità, tannini assenti,nel complesso bilanciato. Abbinamenti: primi piatti con funghi e ragù carne rossa, formaggi saporiti. In estrema sintesi una buona beva.🍷

Cabernet Franc und Syrah. Interessanter Wein aus der Toskana.

Very nice Cabernet Franc-dominant blend. Classic ripe red fruit, some earthy and spicy notes, crisp acidity, soft tannins. Opens up and softens the next day, showing some aging potential.

Light burgundy and looks runny . Not so impressive at nose and I was quite disappointed at the sips . Less juice , light body and not so complex . We order Pizza , spaghetti and steik , this wine not so bad. Finally perform and compliment with the food quite well .

Earthy, oak on the nose. Smooth tannins with cherry lingering on the pallet.

Cab franc and Syrah blend. Not unusual but a rare blend from Italy. Quite disappointed that not getting the fresh herbaceous greens from the cab franc. Almost felt like a pure merlot. Finish also shortest among the bunch

Slightly herbaceous in the main profile alternates notes of unripe strawberries, ginseng root and crumbled white stone. Medium body, simple structure, lean of good smoothness and a relaxed finish. Enjoyed w/pasta dinner. Drink now.

Very interesting low-level Maremma, quite good for a under 9 EUR wine. Strong berries and black currant nose. Ruby red with violet reflections color. For a CF/Syrah blend is very light (even with those earthly/soil notes) and drinkable. Berries, black currant and pepper on taste, with licorice finish. A little bit dusty and unfinished in the aftertaste, but overall the QPR is amazing. Enjoyed at 3.4 stars.

Jeden schmalen Cent wert. Überragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Frucht, Gewürze und alles schon einfach und trotzdem präsent. Schön unkompliziert.

Super Preis-Genussverhältnis dunkelrot im Glas, am Gaumen harmonisch und rund. Nicht außergewöhnlich aber ein Wein für jeden Tag

Nice dark red. Lots of tannins. Earthy. Spicy. Really earthy.

Fine with food - for us a veggie lasagna with red sauce.

Dark fruit, pepper. Med bodied. Med-high acidity. Smooth in the mouth, with def red fruit on palate. Dry. Decent finish & length. 13.5%. Vivino says CS & Syrah, but winery website says CF 🤔. We both liked well enough, though nothing remarkable. In our October wine locker.

Drinking this by the glass at Bottega del Vino in Perugia. Definitely too young, with hardly any nose although on the palate there is textural profile and dark fruit flavours

Aromas: cherry, forest fruit, tobacco and violet. On the mouth: nothing but acidity and tanins. No taste at all. Medium body.

ポッジョ・アルジェンティエラ マレマンテ ロッソ・トスカーナ2016 カベルネフラン75% シラー25% あまり良い表現ではありませんが、始めは血液を思わせる鉄感と食パンを連想する香り。時間とともに果実味がどっと出てきます。タンニンを優位に感じながら、ブラックベリー・ブルーベリーなど黒い果実が広がります。自宅でレア気味に焼いたステーキと合っています。が、好みの方向ではない。3.2ポイント。 残った半分翌日にいただきましたが、ずいぶん美味しくなりました。バラバラ感がなくなって果実味が優位。タンニン、鉄っぽさも程よくまとまって2日目の方が美味しかった。

Plum, spicy, vanilla , salt, acid. minerality is stornger than fruit, Next is well made vanilla and last is fruit. It makes feel like drinking aged wine.

Ok airport wine, aromas and flavors of dark berries, plums and blueberries, a bit of spice and licorice. Med bodied, ok finish considering the price point, ok QPR.

Dracks med Thea i Aspudden. Överlag ett kanske inte helt spännande vin som ändå fann sig till syftet: vilket var inköpt pizza på nya haket. För mig påminde det nog mer om ett lättdrucket rioja än nåt annat. Även om det fanns trevliga toner till det. Inte på något sätt ett dåligt vin, det kanske bara sträckte sig till middagsbordet?
