Loved it. Had it for anniversary. Full bodied. Explodes in your mouth. You taste the alcohol but I enjoyed every drop. A WOW wine.

Vanilla cardamom cinnamon wrapping a core of kirsch strawberry black tea violet thyme on an alluring nose. More of same on the full throttle palate, peppery spicy tangy ripe berry with a grounding espresso note for days on the long finish. Always awesome and guaranteed crowd pleaser.

Eye opening. Ruby colored with a bouquet is so different than my usual (cab): scents of plums, mint, menthol, earth, smoke and stone but with acid. But then a flavor wallop of dark fruit and cherry pie. Acidic on the finish but not unpleasantly so; just enough to hold its own. The finish could stand to be a little smoother, but it’s a brilliant wine at this price point.

Espectacular. Empezando por un nariz intensa, frutal, que anticipa lo siguiente: boca frutal, madura, especiado ligeramente, tanino controlado muy muy bien estructurado. Hace tiempo que no probaba un 4'5 estrellas.

Garnacha de categoría. En nariz muy complejo, fruta muy madura, licoroso, tinta china, toques achocolatados. En boca vino redondo, largo, equilibrado, con mucho sabor pero no pesado. Para mi gusto le falta botella.

Interesting and fun wine! Ripe dark fruit and menthol/eucalyptus on the nose. The dark fruit combines with tart cranberry on the palate and the finish features hints of spice. Was a wonderful paring with lamb chops and basil mint pesto. I like garnachas and this is one of the best I’ve had.

Probability the best Garnacha from all Spain...incredibly well crafted ...perfection in every drop ...smooth, silky , well balanced with suoerb long lasting palette of blueberries , blackberry , strawberry jam, and dried plums...

Fantastic wine this. Amazing price point too. Very surprised to see it on the menu in a Sri Lankan restaurant in KL. Perfume nose with jammy fruity notes. Taste follows the nose and it’s extremely smooth. Absolutely lovely.

Die Barrique-Aromen erinnert fast schon Harz. Dunkle Beeren, Kräuter, Tabak, Balsamisch. Auf der Zunge brutal präsent und voluminös ohne Fett zu wirken. Dafür sorgt die kernige Säure. Packt richtig zu, bleibt aber immer subtil und elegant. Jede Nuance spiegelt sich über die komplette Länge wieder. Der Preis? Ein Witz! Grandios

Eine Bombe in der Nase, Eine Explosion im Mund! Schwarze, fleischige Kirsche, gefolgt von Eiche, Schokolade und dann noch weiteren dunklen Früchten. Die 16% sind schön eingebunden, jedoch spürt man sie merklich 😅

Très bon millésime. Déguster dans mes nouvelles coupes de dégustation. OMG les arômes sont amplifiées, boisé, cerise, légèrement fumé. Les saveurs s'harmonisent au nez. Beaucoup de larme. 16% d'alcool et 1,8g/l. Encore jeune mais toujours délicieux.

We tasted the 2016 vintage again. It aged well and is a lovely wine. Need to buy more. A great balance of fruit and acid and tannins. A smooth finish.

A full-bodied, dark-fruit, black color. In the nose blackberry and cassis, and the palate has coffee, chocolate and vanilla. A smooth finish. Very nice.

The nose is a bit hot but when it settles down you get aromas of dried cherries. On the pallet you get notes of stewed plum and dark fruit but not overpowering. The acid and tannins are well balanced. I’m am never disappointed by AltoMoncayo and this one does not disappoint either. Excellent price point. This is a must buy!

Did a tasting - Excellent Spanish wine. Very surprisingly good. Bought a bottle and when properly decanted with a large wine glass allowing the wine to breathe - and it’s even better. Smooth, good body. I would say a little sweet if i were trying to compare and separate it from some of the best wines I’ve had at this or above price points.

2020 vintage. Deep ruby color, red and dark fruit on the nose. On the palate, a juicy blend of black cherry, plum, blackberry, and a bit of earthiness, beautifully balanced by medium tannins and medium plus acidity. A nice touch of pepper on the medium finish. Wow! A really lovely expression of Garnacha from the Campo de Borja region of Spain. The purity of fruit and wonderful balance make this a real treat and a great value. Gorgeous label. Get some! 93 points.

For a 4-year old Spanish Granaxa, the wine shows a whopper of potential. Slightly woody nose, but some great berry flavors, and a smooth finish. Should only get better. Maybe in 3-4 years this will be awesome.

Hard to distinguish from the other from this brand but a great easy to drink wine with steak dinner! Smooth tannins and dark fruit. Both are winners to me.

外観はボルドーでやや煉瓦色と赤紫が勝つ。エッジはダークガーネットに煉瓦色がはっきり窺える。底はギリギリ透けず深く熟成していてナイス。 粘性は中庸から高めでゆっくり幾つか垂れたあと細かい間隔ゆっくり落ちる透明な涙。 第一ノートは均整のとれたカシス。甘やかな樽香も爆発しながらも整う。やや丸くなってるが強めのアルコール感・革感・腐葉土・落ち葉・煙草・熟したブラックベリー・火の入ったブルーベリー・ドライ薔薇・ブラックチェリージャム・プルーン・ドライ無花果・菫・レーズン・黒土・モカ。 口に含むとアタックはブルーベリー・ブラックベリー・プルーンの加熟から火が入った濃厚さ。モカ感・冷ややかさ・カシスの凝縮感・菫オレンジが爆発して濃厚。タンニンは柔らかく豊富でありながらこなれて豊か。ビロードの世界一歩前でブラッドオレンジピールと手を取りながら深く豊かに漆黒に誘う。出汁感にブラッドオレンジ感が乗りながら仄かな苦味と暗さがら落ち着いた落ち葉や煙草の表情を呼び起こす。漆黒のようで明るいタンニンが甘やかに漂うバニラのニュアンスと手を取ってアフターは続く。 最高に美味い状態！ ☆3.8〜3.9 16%

GOLDにて スペインのガルナッチャ。濃い感じ。少し酸味。

3.4→3.6(4日目) 第一印象は、それほど香りが強くないなと。閉じているかな。 カシス、ブラックベリー、ブルーベリー、バニラ、オーク、チョコレート、タバコ。 口に含むと、レーズン、オレンジ、枯葉、マッシュルーム、香水のアロマ。 余韻にはミントやタイムといったハーブと、胡椒のスパイシーさ。 確かに複雑味はあるのだけれども、これといった特徴は感じず。 2日目に期待です。 2日目 →1日目よりも香りが開き、甘みが増しているが...。Vivinoで4.3の評価を獲得するほどだとは思えず。 4日目 →ん？美味しくなってる。 ビターなチョコレートやコーヒーのニュアンスも出てきて、コクを感じる。 5日目 →渋みがやや強い。 小瓶保存2.5ヶ月後 →辛口！でも美味しいです。
