Still one of my favs!!! This wine has surpassed any wine I’ve ever had. Beautiful supple, smooth, full mouth feel. Well worth the price.

I can’t begin to describe how perfect this wine is. It’s soft and leather like in the mouth, juicy blackberries, light vanilla, oak and black plum.

Had the 09 and it is simply sublime!! Impecable and delicious. Red fruit balanced, long smooth tannins, medium acidity. Love it

Incredible. Soft but has a backbone, fruit but not sweet, body but not heavy, and acidity that doesn't stand out or fail to deliver. One of the best reds I've tasted.

Fantastic mouth feel, velvet tannins and lingering finish. I have one bottle left and will be saving it for a special occasion. If you can get your hands on this bottle, don’t hesitate - it’s just wonderful.

It’s like putting the perfect Cabernet cloud into your mouth. It’s so soft that you kind of forget that there is liquid in your mouth. The reason I gave it 5.0 is you really can’t find anything wrong with this wine. Just open and decant for at least 3 to 4 hours, hell open it in the morning when you get up and drink for dinner. It’s everything you wanted in a red wine 🍷. Glad I didn’t pass up the opportunity 😋 CHEERS

This is one of my favorites...tastes even better after a pandemic and the first restaurant visit in 95 days. Therefore, this may be the most bias review of my life, haha. The oak and vanilla are great, but he blackberry makes this wine. It’s such a great taste note. I love it.

Couldn't scan the bottle. I was just invited for a taste from a glass. (Bottle was already in trash.) It already aired for about an hour. OMG! I wish I could afford this on a daily basis. I wouldn't need any other red in my life. Just beautiful! Very well balanced, fruity, not super tannic. Read the reviews! I'm still in a bliss. 🤭

Big concentrated fruit driven wine with silky tannins and round oaky notes that compliment the sip.

It was excellent and full of many lighter fruits. It needed some time to open up but then it was very enjoyable

Great wine, complex flavors, we like to do comparison/taste offs with Pahlmeyer Propietary Red, Quintessa is better with food because of complexity while Pahlmeyer Red is better on its own because more subtle

What can I say? This is an amazing wine. We drank it way out of its drinking window. It is the 2020, so it’s a bit young. Nose: oak, mahogany, lots of dark chocolate, wet leaves, and ash. Taste: a very smooth, dusty, chalk, laced with prune, blackberry and dark fruit with tannins woven throughout. Pairing: a full on Korean steak dinner.

Amazing wine. Buttery oak notes, smooth mouthfeel, perfectly balanced, delicious in every way.

Top Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

Quintessa was smooth and fruity with just enough tannin. My wife had a (rare for her) second glass. We enjoyed this wine with friends in a fine NY steak house.

This was very good, practically saved the wine list during our 12 day Celebrity cruise along with other notable performers (for the prices) Sondraia, Oreno and Banfi Brunello

2007 vintage. Big and bold expected. Deep Lucious ripe blackberry , with grippy tannins that complement the fatty steak. Just magnificent and can go much longer, decant an hour!

Very silky smooth. Velvet finish with hint of tannins. Drinks well now but could age for 5+ years. Opens up nicely and pairs well with steak. Dark fruits are all over this wine.

A; very dense sweet dark fruit syrup, vanilla, tobacco, cola, leather, mineral P; full, racy, med fine tannins, dense juicy dark fruit, floral, leather, cacao, mineral, cola

Dark opaque color with brownish red rim. On the nose I get fresh red berries. Flavors of chocolate and malt settle into the acid almost like a chocolate covered raspberry. It is rich and smooth on the tongue until it finishes with a tannic mouth drying spice(Rutherford Dust). Delicious Bordeaux blend. 92% cab, 4% merlot, 3% carmenere, 1% petite Verdot.

Really nice wine. Great nose with leather, oak, and vanilla in addiction to ripe, dark fruit. Palate is more of the same but with tremendous balance from start to finish. Soft, round, and full. Been eying this one for a while. Nice to finally try it. Great dinner wine.

初のクインテッサ、2016。 濃厚なガーネットに強いカシスのアロマ。カルメネール由来なのか、少し刺さってくるような甘じょっぱさ、それにタンニンの刺激が印象に残る。すき焼きの濃い割下とは相乗効果が強すぎたか。 間違いなくポテンシャルは高いので、変化に期待。 → 翌日、最後の2杯。期待した通りやはり今日の方が美味い。尖りがなくなり、全てにおいて落ち着きを増し、トータルでバランスが良くなった。香りもより引き立っており、それでもなおカルメネールの甘さが他のカリフォルニア産とは一線を画している印象。

First time having a tasting dinner at Capital Grille. Had Quintessa and Flowers. This is so good paired with steak. Lots of fruits. Love it!
