Black cherries, lightly smoked meat, vanilla, moist earth. Beautiful structure, crisp, smooth tannins. Spectacular New World / Old World balance that has made Lingua Franca a new favorite of mine across their portfolio. Decanted 1 hour. 96 points.
earthy black cherry vanilla
Light, Fruity and Elegant with Red Cherries and Lavender
Light but bright
Warm, velvety and perfect finish. Low acidity and tannins.
Loved this - paired well with pizza 🤪
Checks all my boxes for a Willamette Pinot. Getting rainier cherry, raspberry, blueberry, vanilla, forest floor, minerals
96/100 Just STELLAR Pinot Noir. Perfect blend of red fruit and earth. Fine grained tannins. Really blew away Burgundy collector and fantatic friends…
Second favorite LF Pinot to the beast (La bete)
Ripe red fruit, aromatic and very velvety soft on the palate. Awesome stuff!
Loved it! A truly beautiful Oregon Pinot
Nice floral, red fruit notes. Need about 1 hour of air. Medium body. Savoury mineral taste. Long finish.
cherry oak earthy
A wonderful Pinot noir, smooth and yet robust. Dark fruit on the nose, nice round tannins on the palate. Great way to celebrate the holidays.
A complex Pinot with an initial nibble of tartness at the start. Moves well in the middle with medium body hues of light pepper and raspberry.
😳 ruby red 🤥 red fruit and cherry 😛 cherry, red fruit, gentle earthy notes This was delicious and slipped down far too easily for a Friday night
Deep ruby color. American pinot noir style. Very good balance and especially well aged. It’s very delicious and have a complexity. cherry raspberry earthy strawberry oak mushroom vanilla minerals
The best! Trip to Willamette Valley. It’s was beautiful and I learned a lot about how the USA is diversified what comes to wine. Very nice Pinots and Chardonnay; very serious wine makers! Congrats to all of them. I hope to be back one day.
Nose of raspberries, cherries and earth. Wonderfully balanced wine with layers of flavors of red fruit, rhubarb, cedar, raspberry liquor, spicy acidity and light, dry tannins. Nice garnet color and finish that ends with a light flavor of sour cherries. Delicious!
This is a beautiful wine. A translucent ruby in the glass with silver reflections at the rim. Very complex nose - red currant, cranberry, pomegranate, cherry, potting soil, a kiss of baking spice, black tea. Medium plus body, highly acidic, and lots of bright red fruit on the palate. This needed 20-30 minutes to open up. At first it was an acid bomb. I would say that this is a bit young to drink at the moment and with age could easily be a 5 star wine. Ian Blackburn of Merchant of Wine in LA presents Zoom Into Wine: Oregon Pinot Noir & Beyond, attended with Em 2/5/25. Our favorite PN of tonight’s tasting. Begins with a heady scent of roses and red fruits. On the palate, the wine is quite dense and rich, powerful in expression, with a perfect balance of red and black fruits, dark plum, pomegranate and raspberry, then the nuances of wet stone, savory herbs come through in the lifted lingering finish and velvety texture. 93 points by Wine Spectat
Ruby, no gas. Multi layered and textured legs. Aromas of rocky wet forest floors. And hints of smoked meat. Tastes same with a gorgeous sweetness balanced with acidity... and lingering aftertaste that's clean and pure.
Punchy, concentrated, macerated strawberry, slate, dark minerals, darker fruit, a little earl grey tea
Fruity. Acidic and light. Packed with fresh flavours. And surprisingly high alcohol for its taste. Great experience.
Enjoyed this vintage thoroughly. Much better than 2021. 94 points from both Wine Enthusiast & Wine Spectator. Cherry on the nose. Cherry, raisins, nice tannins on the palate. Really an exceptional wine. Tasted against the 2022 LaBelle Pinot and liked the LaBelle better. This one combines all 4 souk types - 1) marine basalt , 2) volcanic 3) Jory clay 4) Jory volcanic.
My second time having this wine and was just as impressed. Notes of mushroom and rock moss were still present. Soft tannins and good acidity. Great from the first sip and a very enjoyable wine I will absolutely come back to. Might need to buy out the shelf at the local store.
Delicioso, mucha fruta roja, madera, en boca suave, taninos y acidez media
Nice fruity light red
May, 9, 2026. Tasted again at another event. Consistent. Medium minus concentration in the glass. High soft tannins and high acid. Medium barely ripe red cherry 🍒 -- going to tart on the finish. A whiff of forest floor to round it out. Some oak. Solid 92-93 points.
2019, nose of red cherry, raspberry, cedar, spices, earthy, floral note of rose petal and some rosemary. Good red fruit core on the mid-palate, beautifully balanced.
Translucent Ruby. Supple red fruits w trace of forest floor. High alcohol content and acidity. Not too complex in finish. Different from my previous tasting experience
First time trying Oregon pinot. This was great! On the nose earthy mushroom red fruit and a bit of pepper. On the palate Lots of red fruit, cherry raspberry strawberry and vanilla
Again, price is a problem but this is delicious. Brings a lovely buzzy tannins’ mouthfeel of red fruit, pomegranate, blueberry jam, oak and minerality supported by cedar and eucalyptus freshness.
Pappas Bros Pinot Tasting in Dallas - aromas and flavors of raspberries, red cherries, baking spices, minerals and some light tobacco. A solid Pinot at a great price point.
More balanced red than the avni. Some strawberry and red fruit on the nose but not overpowering. Structured and acidic with a hint of tannin on the palate. Quite burgundy like if the fruit mellows
T/ 👃: Cherry, raspberry, blackberry, floral, dried herbs. 👅: Mb, m+t, blackberry, sour cherry, cranberry, thyme, dried herbs, minerals, floral, earthy, licorice. Great Pinot!
Tried side by side with the plow and really enjoyed this almost ever so slightly more. The nose has quite a bit of cherry. The palate is smooth, delicate notes of cherry and some light notes of cedar, some mushroom, minerality. Delicious!!
A rich Pinot noir with notes of dark plum, pomegranate and raspberry. It finishes with savory herbs.
Gorgeous wine! Lots of sour cherry, forest floor, vanilla, blueberry, mushroom, cedar, and light caramel.
Nami Kaze Honolulu
Good solid OR Pinot. Medium purple color, still very young. A little tight but opens up with cherry and dark fruit. Should keep a while.
Always a fan of wines from Oregon. This one has cherry and earthy notes, like forest floor. A softer palate with a nicely balanced acidity.
Mmm this is so lively yet savory. Bright cherry, red currant, some cranberry, and rhubarb. Finishes long with wet forest floor and tar
Mushroom, earthy in the nose. Red cherry, raspberry with vanilla with a hint of oak and even a bit of chocolate in the lasting finish. The barrel did not spoil the fun.
Med- body, clean style pinot. Med- nose intensity. Cherry and raspberry flavors with distinctive white pepper notes. Very drinkable without any negative sensation. Nice short finish.
Absolutely must try this pinot. The perfumed nose is very typical of an Oregon Pinot nior. Very American in state, very primary.....which is not a bad thing. Drink or hold.
Color is a deep garnet purple. Delightful full nose of red cherry, orange peel, clove and plum. Flavor is surprisingly full, cherry dominates but vanilla and even hints of mint delight.
estate pinot 2022 A more intense style with more potential etc. Null kitsch, super charming, fresh, bachwasser, should perform within a couple years but I see no potential aswell. V elegant and held back oak use… 4.2++
Great value for money pinot noir! On the nose cherry red fruit raspberry earthy oak mushroom Medium bodied wine with medium minus tannins
Red berries, dark berries, strawberries, raspberries, earthy and black cherry. High acidity leather, vanilla, strawberries, plum and raspberries.
Excellent transition wind moving from seafood toward mushrooms and meats Very smooth with a little dark fruit and light tannins
black cherry cherry clove dried fruit. Medium+ body, medium acidity, great backbone, feel like in the forest. Finished medium+
Mature Oregon Pinot Noir. Drink now if you have a bottle. Has some “weight” to the taste profile. The fruit is moderately subdued and a lingering pleasant tail.
91 points Purple reddish Concentrated. Cherry, strawberry and plum. Vanilla and caramel. Licorice. Perfume. Pepper. Fresh and clean. Oak. Fruity. Long.
Decent Oregon PN, transparent ruby color, cherry and strawberry nose, taste - quite fruity for aged PN with raspberry, cherry and just a touch of earthy notes, medium light body.
I guess I am becoming more aware of Wilamette Valley Pinot Noirs, as many of them offers the more elegant styled of Pinots that I love with Burgundies. Attractive nose with roses, bruised cherries, and toasted caramel, that offers new world characteristics. Lightly bodied, with a drying oak feel, with underbrush, sour cherries, and dry minerals on the finish. Probably should have been opened sooner as the fruit is too thin now.

2022. Ruby red color. Has some notes of baking spice and berries on the nose. Palate is smooth and oaky with vanilla. Really nice
A blend of three burgundy clones 777 and 114 and I can’t remember the other 🧿 clear garnet and thin legs 👃 cherry and earth with mushroom 👄 blended tartness and red berry

Very nice pinot, mostly ripe red fruit, cherry jam, and a slight element of acidity like a good blanc de noir champagne. Pretty solidly medium+ across the board in terms of balance, intensity and complexity, I gave it 91 points.
Tasted Oct 21. Nose: earth-dominated scent, deep mushroom, cherry Tasting: smooth onset, strawberries, slowly evolving into juicy climax - finished off with nice cherry sting that keeps giving and giving. Mushrooms and some vanilla towards finish. Long aftertaste of strawberries and cherries. Medium-bodied, larger wine than some of its neighbours. Simply pleasant, although not as complex as I had expected before drinking it. 90p
Very nice pinot noir with full of rosy note. Raspberry, cherry, strawberry. 9.8
Cherry, mushroom, pepper, elegant! Drinking very well
Light-med bodied. Red fruit, slightly earthy. Med (+) acidity.
