Tremendo caldo de 100% Garnacha este de Alto Horizonte. Escandalosamente fácil de beber y al mismo tiempo con intrigante complejidad. Es de 4.8 ⭐️ El vino presenta un color rubí vivido, de capa media y ribete también rubí. En nariz hay frutos rojos maduros, notas ahumadas, roble, sotobosque y flores. En boca es seco, de corpulencia media alta, con muy buena potencia. Taninos muy finos, elegantes y ubicuos. Muy buena acidez y buena persistencia final.

Hoy comida familiar, hemos descorchado dos botellas de Alto de la Cruz 2020, impresionante esta garnacha de Gredos. Vino muy fresco equilibrado, afrutado, acidez la justa, en definitiva un vino para disfrutar. Se nota cuando el trabajo se hace con ilusión. Creo que este es el camino a seguir. Enhorabuena por vuestro trabajo.

What a Gredos masterpiece. Almost Commando G, but 10 times cheaper. Fruits are amazing, balsamic notes, minerality is crazy. Nice to invest

Wow! Perfect pairing with fish...reminded me of a Burgundy Red. I'd be curious if this Garnacha was made in a Burgundy style. Very tasty! Forest floor, confifer, tasty blue and red fruit. 4.5 stars!

Spanische Wein-Degu #22: Gefällt mir ganz gut. Bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob ich noch ein für mich objektives (zwar für Sie subjektives) Urteil fällen kann. Werde diesen tollen Tropfen bestimmt wieder genehmigen.

Vista: Color rojo cereza de capa media-alta. Nariz: Fresco y complejo. Con aromas de fruta roja, florales, monte bajo y especiados que recuerdan a la pimienta rosa. Boca: En boca es directo y muy refrescante, con gran equilibrio entre acidez y golosidad. Recomendación del Sumiller del Restaurante Back (Marbella).

Another marvelous job from Micaela Rubio & Aurelio Garcia. Decanted for a few hours. 100% Garnacha from vineyard over 1.150m in Sierra de Gredos, 80+ years. 14m in french oak barrels  Bright ruby color. Aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, with a smoky & terroir touch. Dry, medium+ body, medium acidity. Red berries, ripe fruits, toast coffee, spices, & a touch of their terroir. It was paired with grilled pork flat iron steak & veggies. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Como estan cambiando los vinos con garnacha! Elegancia, fineza, sabor sin muchos taninos, la sierra de gredos se está convirtiendo en un must!

Gran regalo de mis amigos de Al....am. monovarietal de garnacha. Vides viejas. Sierra de Gredos, Ávila, a más de 1.000 mt de altura y suelo granito. Proyecto de Aurelio García y Micaela Rubio. Barrica y gres. Color: capa media-baja, cereza, poco brillo. Nariz: campo, especies. Boca: frutal, largo, acidez media. MUY BUENO.

Hermano mediano de la bodega Alto Horizonte de Aurelio Garcia. Pura Garnacha de Gredos. Sensacional. También muy equilibrado como el cerro brujo, y con muy buena acidez. Excelente vino y gran RCP. Suerte si lo encuentras. Merecen la pena los tres hermanos. El hermano pequeño (+Altitud) también está genial!!!

80 years old Garnacha vineyards planted on granitic soils, at 1,150 meters of altitude in a place known as the Alto de la Cruz. Minimal intervention, 14 months in 1700-liter concrete eggs, 1000-liter Stoneware Vessels and 500-liter French oak barrels. Limited production with a unique origin and vinification, delivering notes of red fruit, ripe fruit, spicy touches, minerals and garrigue. Dry, fruity, balanced and long lasting.

Vino tinto con intenso olor, muy agradable en boca, con una explosión de sabor, muy Bien equilibrado. En garganta suave.

Conectando Gredos, más que agradable y divertido festival de los vinos producidos en Méntrida, Madrid, Cebreros o Castilla, en un entorno brutal en el valle de Iruelas. El paraíso de las garnachas de altura en suelos graníticos o también de albillos reales, vinos de gran frescura y frutalidad. Bodegas de nivel alto y medio pero siempre interesantes, faltaron el Comando G y Telmo Rodríguez, una pena. (1PARTE)

An intense scent of stony forest soil,woody spices and baroque roses. On the palate juicy, fresh and incredible persistent. Black cherry fruit, dried flowers, dark chocolate, wet asphalt after a summer thunderstorm, radiant fruit , high extract and with an elegant Garnacha sweetness. A distinctly lasting aftertaste with a mineral touch.

La recomendación del sumiller de El Telégrafo en Madrid, bastante interesante. Ligero pero con carácter. Muy versátil para comer.

4.1 Really good Garnacha from selected plots in lesser know areas in Spain (Madrid region ) that are fantastic terriors. Personal project of husband and wife wine maker team Aurelio and Mikaela. Intense and concentrated black fruit notes, minerality, baking spice, blood orange. Aged partially in amphorae. Supple tannins and balanced acidity. Fantastic wine. Had the privilege of tasting this at the wine makers cellar.

Últimamente le estoy dando a la garnacha…. que le encanta a mi mujer 😉. Hoy a tocado esta garnacha de Gredos, que ha sido una recomendación de Oscar de DeTapaenCepa. Nariz muy frutal, de garnacha, hay fresa, grosella, cereza con un punto de especias, licores y menta. En boca hay un punto inicial alegre para pasar a la fruta, algo de regaliz de chuches y luego ese punto ácido, medio-alto, que es alegre y que termina permaneciendo en boca hasta el final donde se junto con esa piedra, que lo deja

Afrutado, elegante y complejo. Muy buena expresión de la garnacha de Gredos. Enhorabuena Aurelio. Recomendable sin duda

Horrible sherry taste. Real disappointment. Bought in Spain, took with me home in my baggage in a flight, my last flight with collapsed WOW air, not so worth it 😭
