Smooth well balanced just the right fruits, it is a surprisingly good wine especially for this price level. Had it in Miami in 19.

Wow! Strawberry nose. Great legs! Then this chewy big red. Leather and chocolate...Yummy! Crack this one open to impress 😉 2nd time with this one. Just as good as the last one.

It's a big juicy jam like Tuscan red that is unlike other Tuscan wines in a way that is much bolder and less acidic and fresh fruit forward. High concentration of dried fruit like fig and prune but also good vanilla from oak. It has smooth tannin (mine was 2013, 7 years old) and decent length. Excellent sipping winter wine and with charred meat and BBQ.

Bright fruit with a kiss of earth. Delightful. Paired with a braised pork shank.

Had this wine at Cinghiale - it was absolutely outstanding. So drinkable, but full bodied, low tannin. Dark fruit like plum and blackcurrant - only slight comment is a shorter finish which I would guess is from the lower tannin. Not much spice - highly drinkable and soft. I realize this is getting a high rating and not much in the way of tasting notes but it was that outstanding.

Bordeaux style from Tuscany, this is powerful, full of flavor, rich and concentrated, smooth and creamy at the same time. Black fruit, earth notes,leather.

A very nice Tuscan blend. Reminiscent of Bordeaux. A rich red, acidic with light earthy notes. Mild tannins. Very good with multiple foods.

Still consistent the 2nd time. Deep dark garnet coloured 48% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon & 3% Petit Verdot mix from Tuscany with subtle graphite pencil aromas along with flavours of ripe black cherry & dried prunes. Balanced & still ultra dry with only 1.8g/L of sugar, medium acidity, a medium to thick texture & a warming finish at 14% alcohol. M* I had this with bbq roasted salmon on the skin with family on Mother’s Day.

Interesting nose, dairy farm, dusty cellar, blackberry, dark fruits. The palate is alluring. Blueberry, boysenberry, bright cherry, red raspberry, saddle leather, bright tobacco with a soft finish with lingering black currant notes.

Pepper on the tongue but smooth to the taste. Wine has an amazing nose. Opens after about 30 minutes to a nose of blueberry and blackberry.

Quality super Tuscan with lots of fruit but enough backbone to keep it balanced. Tight initially but some time in glass really helped.

Tannic, dark purple color. Aromas of plum, blackberry, licorice. Medium acidity, medium low sugar, medium finish. Reminds me of a Bordeaux.

55% merlot, 22% cab franc, 20% Cab, 3% petite Verdot blend from Arcanum in Tuscany. Extraordinarily dark in the glass, almost obsidian. Relatively light violet, plums, and blueberries on the noise. Nice, resounding tannins and some fruit on the finish, with the merlot likely doing a lot of smooth out the mouthfeel. A wonderful wine, especially for ~$30

Deep purple color w/ magenta rim. M+ to Hi abv, F body, M+ tannins and M to M+ acidity. Nose: Earthy, smoke, slight green bell pepper cassis, blackberry, black plum and anise. Palate: Tart plum and blackberry front. Mid is earthy, leather and a little smoke. Finishes long w/ acidity and tobacco and espresso profiles.

This is a ‘Super Tuscan’ that comes highly rated by wine critics and Vivino itself. Interestingly there is no Sangiovese in the blend of grapes, which includes the two Cabernets, but is over 50% Merlot. There is plenty of cassis and cherry but also earthy notes, cedar wood and tobacco. The wine is bold and dry but also has some balance and even elegance. Very nice!

Solid dinner wine. Light body with high acidity and tannins. Lacks the elite depth and power I desire in complex full body wines. Notes of lavender, lemon and raisin. -Beauty and the Butcher, Miami FL.

Very good! Had a half glass at The Fortunate Glass in Historic downtown Wilmington, NC. I smooth blend, full mouth, dry, but not so dry you need food, although a little cheese would be great. Cherry, plum, blackberry flavors.

Really liked this wine. Had it at a local wine bar last night. I didn’t have time to take detailed notes but great blend of dark and red fruits with a wonderful smooth non acidic mouthfeel and lingering tannin. Loved it!

Monarch Dallas. Decent red but lacking the wow factor. Possibly could have opened up more if warmer.

Big bold red. Blackberry, blueberry, lots of baking spice and vanilla. Tannins are pretty leather -y.

3.8-3.9 ガーネット。ダークチェリー,ブラックベリー,西洋杉,ヴァイオレット,リコリス,コーヒー豆。 ボルドーライクなニュアンスを感じさせつつも,このリコリスとパレットのチューイーな透明感は紛れもなくイタリアの味わいだ。デイリーワインとしてCPの高い1本である。

Recommend this wine for an occasion. Definite embodies what a solid super Tuscan should taste like with lots of tannins and medium to bold finish
