Tasted several weeks ago. Lovely raspberry and cherry flavours with underlying bramble, slate and mineral (from memory!). A wonderful accompaniment to entrecote of beef.

Millésime 2020, élégant, notes vanillées dominantes, un vrai bonheur.

96 points - I thought this wine outstanding. Absolutely remarkable - an energy and vibrancy with notes of sour cherries, forest floor and moss, wet earth, leather. Well structured and balanced it’s lively and has almost new world zing with old world nuance. Wonderful — still very young g but has many years to come.

After Wei consulted Deepseek as she likes to do, it somehow convinced me to call Chambertin, 1 of the smaller plots 🤦🏻 I really should just keep to my instincts. Pronounced aromatic nose with some spice and earth and a waft of luscious fruit. Elegant with some power. Lovely!

Волшебно, немного замкнутое редуцированное, пришлось немного подождать и Пиныч заиграл привычными ароматами красных ягод, немного дуба, очень мягкое, хотя довольно кислотно и танинно. Классное послевкусие!

Seco, acidez média mais pra muito, álcool médio, tanino médio, corpo médio, final médio mais pra longo. Vinho rico, intenso e complexo. Excelente!

Wir hatten die Gelegenheit den Jahrgang 1964 zu verkosten! Ein einmaliges Erlebnis einen fast 60jährigen Wein zu verkosten. Bleiverschluss war nur ganz leicht oxidiert; der Korken erstaunlich fest und gut von der Flasche zu lösen. Der Wein war in erstaunlichem Zustand. Das Alter war ihm positiv anzumerken, das Trinkerlebnis samtig, seidig, voller Frucht, typische Pinot Noten und für’s Auge eine rubinrote Edelsteinfarbe. Hochgenuss pur auf allen Ebenen.

On the nose there’s a game funky aroma to begin with along with red fruit and some oak on the background; on the palate it’s dry and more fruity than the nose, the game barnyard note is still noticeable, less on the oak. Have another bottle but probably will age few more years and by then the leather game flavor should be even more pronounced.

This wine, which has the classical Rosne-Romanee profile, needs some time to open. It has lots of red fruit (cherry) and minerals, and once opened soft dark fruit, dark cherry. Very soft to no tannins.

Little reduced, little wild game character at the start but it disappears, baking spices, wet forest floor. 👅: Medium tannins, medium bodied, smooth velvet mouthfeel, medium plus acidity, flavors of cherry, licorice. For me just amazing wine. Rich, aromatic, complex with beautiful bouquet of preserved red fruit, leather, dried herbs and dried flowers. Juicy red fruit and forest fruit only on the palate. Velvety tannins, high acidity. Slightly spicy. 💥

First out of three mini Suchots comparison. I admit I did not enjoy it at first as the bright acidity tended to mask many of its characters. Aged soy, sesame and balsamic vinegar notes on the palate. Relatively masculine marks the signature of the Suchots terrorir. The wine improved in glass over a four-hour dinner. Round acidity and tannin both gradually came together. Finish was average in length otherwise this would turnout to be a top notch VR. A Suchots with depth and complexity!

another wine that needs a healthy 2hr + decant. after some time, the wine showed terrifically - crunchy strawberries that we know and love for quality burg, undertone of earthiness. med-bodied a rather small proportion of this wine is exported (10% for the 2018; not sure about 2021)

This wine is a single-varietal Pinot Noir cuvée made from 70-year-old vines.

The average rating seems to be a bit low for this wine. A sleek red, full of sweet red cherry, floral and spice aromas and flavors. Firm but bright, this is well-balanced, with a lingering aftertaste of fruit and mineral.

A nice wine, a bit expensive for the quality maybe. Nice nose of cherry, oak, vanilla, red fruit and especially pepper. Nice finish, good acidity

We kill this baby, though it's not tannic. Fresh fruit but not yet integrated. Shall keep it to test its potential.
